Dr. John Schmidt earned his degree as Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2008 from The Temple School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Colorado to attend a General Practice Residency program at Denver Health Hospital. After completing his GPR program in the summer of 2009 he became the owner of Mountain View Family Dental where he has spent the last decade proudly serving the Brighton community.
Dr. Schmidt practices his philosophy of maintaining a positive doctor-patient relationship through mutual trust, cooperation, and open communication. He has made it his personal duty to provide the highest quality of care to every patient and focuses on integrating the criterion of traditional dentistry with cutting-edge technology in order to continually grow the practice.

I reached out twice to schedule a consultation for multiple crowns Online but I never received a call back to set up a appointment. What a bummer I was looking forward to the appointment since it's only a five minutes drive

Being new to town and having to select a dentist wasn't easy, but I know I made the right choice. After reading the reviews and speaking to my neighbors I knew this was the spot for me. Dr. Schmidt was incredibly informative, reviewing every x-ray and Chelsea the hygienist was wonderful and GENTLE. Great office and great location. Was happy to schedule my next cleaning before leaving!

Having gone to quite a few dentists due to moving frequently, I must say that my experience with Dr. Schmidt and the staff at Mountain View Family Dental was exceptional. I've never had anyone review my x-rays so thoroughly and explain exactly what they are looking at and for. I left with a true understanding of my situation and I am very satisfied with the explanation of my needs. Utilizing models, I was able to see what each outcome would look like, making the decision making process easy. I highly suggest this practice and Dr. Schmidt.

Incredibly pleasant staff that was actually helpful. Dr. John is honest and knowledgable. I recently saw another dentist who wanted to put me in braces and replace all my metal fillings. I was never given reasons as to why. John explained everything to me and saved me thousands. I agree with his outlook of doing the right thing the first time and not patching things up. I'm thrilled I came here for a second opinion. Thanks John and staff.

Dr. John did a great job with my implants. Got the teeth last week finally and they feel natural. It took a long time, but you get what you pay for. I'm very happy.

Dr. Schmidt is a wealth of knowledge. He takes the time to be sure the patient knows exactly what's going on. It's very helpful to see the photos of your teeth right in front of you and to be given pamphlets to take home summarizing your conditions. I am very happy. My husband was also very impressed seeing how informed I was when discussing my issues. I'll be sending all my girlfriends here.
