Dr. Shilo Annis was born and raised in Maine. Shilo has had an unusual path to become a dentist in Maine. After graduating Windham High School, he enlisted in the Army and spent a few years in South America. He then became an Apache Helicopter Pilot in the Army for several years. After leaving the Army, he went became a federal agent flying for Customs and Border Protection in San Diego.
While Shilo enjoyed flying, he wanted something that provided a service to people in his home state. Eventually, he made his way through the University of Southern Maine. He then went on to the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, graduating in the inaugural class.
A native of Hershey, PA, Dr. Jocham has spent the last few years practicing dentistry in Denver, Colorado. He was growing tired of all the powdery-fresh, high-altitude snow and is ready to challenge his outdoor adventure abilities by skiing, hiking and cycling on our Eastern rocks and ice. Dr. Jocham is a dedicated dentist who works to build a relationship with every patient by educating them on their oral health and providing gentle and effective care. He completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University and went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Jocham completed an intensive general practice residency at Jersey City Medical Center. There, his residency emphasized oral surgery, emergency care, and endodontics. He is also a certified Invisalign provider. When searching for a dentist in Maine, you need not look any further. I'm so pleased I chose this practice, I've been a patient at a wonderful practice in Portland for over 20 years. I reside in Bridgton, several people told me how great Mountain view Dentistry is. Their office is on the lake, exam rooms offer beautiful views of water, wildlife, camps, very calming. The staff is so personable, my appointments were on time, I hope you visit them and are as pleased as I was.

I recently moved to the area and went here for cleaning and a crown. They did a great job; it was painless and quick. The crown came back in a few days not a couple weeks which was my experience at other dentists. What else can you ask for? The people I interacted with were courteous and friendly.

Two teeth pulled, in constant pain for six days , ended up with dry socket in both extractions , Terrible Pain for six days , ask for something for the pain , I'm 66 , no to my request, I Never ask for pain meds but two dry sockets for six days , NO COMPATION.what is going on with our world?

I was having a dental issue and called Sunday. I received a call back and the Doctor gave me some advice and told me to call them at 7:30a Monday. They were expecting my call that morning and they got right in. They were all friendly and non judgmental. Needless to say they fixed my issue and I'm grateful. You all are Amazing!

Got me in within 2 days, as a new patient with a dental emergency. Spent as much time as needed to treat my issue. Staff and providers all professional, but with a great sense of humor (always a plus in a dental office)!

My husband had a crown done in Florida last fall and it bothered him back then and they readjusted it but never seemed perfect! Then the dentist office burned so he didn't get back to the office to have it looked at again and then Covid -19 came along so he has been dealing with it but not been bad until we returned to Maine for the summer ! A few days ago it really became a huge problem and became very painful and his face swelled! I called to make an appointment and we were very pleased with the care and concern we received from the office help! We got an appointment for 10:30 the next morning and then were called that they had a cancellation and he could go right in at 8:30! The whole experience was wonderful ! The tooth was pulled and preventive care was done and we couldn't be more happy with the whole office! Thank you so much! We would recommend this dental office to anyone!

I am a very anxious person when it comes to the dentist, but this office is always accommodating. The staff is friendly, Dr Annis is knowledgable, listens, and is always respectful of both his staff and patients. My 4 and 5 year olds both LOVE going to the dentist because of the staff. The office is also very clean. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.
