In particular, Dr. Michael Tobler has made the difficult decision to pursue career opportunities in another area of the country which will require a move away with his family. Dr. Tobler wishes to express his sincere gratitude and appreciation for the support and trust you have given him during the last few years as he provided dental care for your families and friends.
We are excited to introduce Dr. Blake Higgins, a highly trained pediatric dentist who has been working with us part-time for a few months! Dr. Higgins is taking over as the new owner and primary dentist in the practice. We are certain you will find his approach kind, effective, and fun!
Dr. Higgins is a native of Eagle County and is happy to be serving his hometown community. His goal as a pediatric dentist is to provide exceptional care for your child while ensuring treatment is delivered safely and thoughtfully.
He received a BA degree from the University of San Diego in psychology with minors in chemistry and biology. He earned his dental degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, he completed a general practice, hospital-based dentistry residency at Denver Health Medical Center. He then completed his pediatric dental residency at the prestigious Childrens Hospital Colorado, which is consistently ranked among the top 10 childrens hospitals in the nation. Dr. Higgins is also an adjunct faculty at Childrens Hospital Colorado, where he instructs residents on optimal pediatric dental care, while ensuring he stays current on any new developments in the field. Before moving back to Eagle County, he practiced pediatric dentistry in the Denver area.
Dr. Higgins is a board candidate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of theAmerican Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
