At Mountain State Oral and Facial Surgery, we stay up-to-date on the latest technology for the benefit of our patients. We place your well-being above all else and spare no expense when it comes to your personalized care. If you are looking for a state-of-the-art oral surgery facility, you have come to the right place!

Intraoral x-rays are the most common type of dental radiograph. To conduct a digital intraoral x-ray, a small electronic sensor is placed in the mouth. The sensor allows us to capture images of your teeth, roots, and supportive bone without the use of film slides. The position of the electronic sensor is dictated by the type of intraoral x-ray you need.

Digital x-rays omit up to 90% less radiation than a film x-ray. They also allow us to magnify or manipulate the image to gain a more comprehensive overview of your oral structures. Without the film development process, we can retake an x-ray instantly and share them electronically, all without affecting the environment.

CBCT scans allow us to better determine the root cause of a symptom or problem. They also allow us to develop more precise surgical plans for dental implants, tooth extractions, bone grafting, gum grafting, and many other restorative procedures. In other words, CBCT and 3D imaging have revolutionized the way we perform oral surgery.

From the minute Cecil answered the phone, until I was escorted to my car, the experience with staff was caring, professional and patient specific. No cookie cutter treatment; each and every question was answered pre and post surgery. Dr. Brock and staff provided excellent care. The trip from Scioto County Ohio was the right decision.

told me instructions after surgery instead of before. I don't remember waking up or anywhere I went after surgery.. tell people instructions first... surgery itself went well I think. Staff was friendly.

Everyone was very nice and explained everything they were doing. They had called me with a cancellation and was able to get me in even quicker than scheduled for my wisdom teeth.

I thank Mountain State Oral from the bottom of my heart for fitting me in their schedule so quickly as I needed to be seen as soon as possible. Dr. Brock was absolutely professional and thorough. He attentively listened to what I had to say, let me know it was going to be alright, and did an A+ job on my tooth extraction. I will definitely recommend him and Mountain State Oral to others and, if I should need such services again, I will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

For 55 years I have been terrified of going to the dentist! I recently broke a tooth that you can see when I smile. I knew I had to do something! I called Mt State Oral and they immediately put a plan together to fix my situation with an implant! The procedure went very smooth, Dr Brock and his whole staff were awesome!! I would highly recommended My State Oral

They was very very sweet and caring had my wisdom teeth removed. The doctor came in n talked with me bout everything and the nurses did to. They was very explaining on what was going on. The nurses talk to ya about some hobbies or anything to keep ur mind occupied and calm. Very clean and organized office. This is the best place around. I highly recommend this place

I couldn't recommend them more! I was absolutely terrified because I had previous bad experiences with medications. This was a breeze, the staff and doctor were all so comforting. I had all four wisdom teeth taken out an I am recovering great. I have servers anxiety and panic and this was the easiest thing I've ever done.

I was having issues getting in to an oral surgeon in a timely fashion. I called this office and received an appointment very soon. Ultimately we had to cancel twice due to weather but they continued to reschedule me quickly. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and they were very impacted/difficult removals. The ladies and Dr Brock were wonderful at explaining everything to me and making me comfortable. This is day 5 post-op and so far things seem to be going as expected. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I would NEVER recommend this place. I went for a simple extraction. I expected the cost to be approx $300. After the consults with the dr he said the X-ray showed a cyst and would need a biopsy. The financial person would be in. At that point I was told the bill would be $1,411!!! The biopsy was almost $1,000 I said I didn't want it just take the tooth out and they would not. I went the next day to another oral surgeon who did a CT scan...there was no cyst and he removed th tooth with no problem
