Dr. Kim Chapman has owned and operated a private, solo dental practice for 19 years since being granted her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, she completed 2 years of graduate work in Neurobiology and Molecular Biology at the University of Washington. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Biology, a minor in Chemistry, and a minor in Music Performance. She graduated magna cum laude from Seattle Pacific University, and prior to that attended Graceland University in Lamoni, IA for 3 years in pursuit of her Bachelors of Biology degree. At Graceland, she ran Womens Cross Country and Track, was a Student Senator, a member of the Gadet dance team, and a founding member and co-president of the Graceland Science Club. She was born and raised in Colorado, and loves living in the west.
Since receiving her doctorate, shes continued to stay informed of the latest dental techniques and scientific research through respected continuing education leaders and study clubs such as the Kois Institute, The Pankey Institute, The Seattle Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, Implants Live Northwest, and others.
My husband Chad Robbs and I have made Big Sky our permanent residence, and were married in 2016 at Big Skys picturesque Soldiers Chapel. We love the ease being able to hop on a bike to get around Big Sky in the warmer months for our commute into the office, Caliber Coffee, or the Hungry Moose, and in the winter only being minutes from a chairlift or cross country trail. I enjoy gardening, travel, music, skiing, biking, healthy cooking and fitness, sewing, and planning the next adventure race or rocking climbing trip.

I cracked a tooth Friday morning and they got me in Friday afternoon so I wouldn't have to wait through the weekend. I've been going there for years and get great service every time!

I live in Big Sky and broke a tooth and call to see if they could look at it. I was told their were not taking any new customers. They would not even look at it on an emergency basis and did not seem to care. Not very good public relations for a small community.

I started going to Mountain Pearls a little over 3 years ago after my Dentist in Bozeman retired. Dr. Chapman and her staff are very friendly and professional. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about oral health and cares deeply for the wellbeing of her patients. The Mountain Pearls office is immaculately clean, calming and decorated beautifully. Mountain Pearls utilizes modern, state of the art dental and imaging equipment. Dr. Chapman has many years of experience operating her own practice and enjoys continuing-ed and keeping up with the most innovative new dental procedures and techniques. She is more than capable of handling everything from routine cleanings to trauma and emergency procedures. It's wonderful having a first-rate dentist conveniently located right here in Big Sky! Whether you live here full time or enjoy visiting, I highly recommend Mountain Pearls Dentistry.

This place is a scam with "follow up" visits. They recently charged us $100 for an "appointment" we didn't schedule nor were made aware of. Way better options in Bozeman

This place is a rip off! They over charge for everything so much so that insurance wont pay for it! They are scam artists and only want money and dont seem to truly care about their patients. We will never go here again. Thank you for scamming us out of $300 for a basic cleaning that should have cost $80!

Mountain Pearls is the best! Dr. Chapman and her staff are always extremely friendly and comforting to anyone who is fearful of the dentist. I recently had a wisdom tooth extraction and it took less than 30 minutes. I have also some teeth sealants redone and my teeth cleaned which were both very quick and easy. I've always scheduled appointments (and even rescheduled with no problems) and Dr. Chapman has always been on time. Couldn't ask for a better dentist!

It's like a spa. You walk in and immediately my apprehensions about being at the dentist were quelled by the relaxed atmosphere. Dr Chapman has done a great job of reducing the clinical appearance of her practice. She and her husband gave me a tour and I was blown away with how much tech and attention to detail they have implemented into the practice. It's the nicest dental office I've ever been to....and it's in a mountain town. Thanks for putting the patient first.

Very frustrating trying to become a customer. 3 trips out of my way to their office only to find it unoccupied & locked up. Even when the sign says "Open, Come In". Even when their answering service says they are going to be in the office. Even when their hours state "Open Thursday, Friday, & Saturday". Answering service can only say, "I don't know... I can take your number and have someone call you back." Seems like they don't take the business very seriously.

Finally, Big Sky gets an awesome dentist! Dr. Chapman does excellent work and really goes the distance to make sure that you are taken care of. As long as you set up your appointment in advance you won't have any issues. This is a mountain town, so don't expect walk in same day service. Other than that, mountain pearls is an awesome comfortable place to go

As perfect of an experience as a dentist visit can offer. Dr. Chapman was absolutely wonderful. We came on vacation from Florida and I had a bridge on my front teeth break the day before we left for Montana. It was Dec. 23 and my dentist at home wasn't open, none of them were. It was threatening to ruin my whole vacation. I called Dr. Chapman first thing in the morning the day after Christmas and told her what was going on. By 11am I was in her chair! She took care of the problem with care and professionalism. Thank you so much! And thanks to your sister for assisting

Great atmosphere, beautiful space, friendly and professional staff. So nice to have a dentist in town and not have to drive to Bozeman!
