Don't expect to keep an appointment. If you are a Medicaid recipient, a minority, or disabled, you are going to be treated like an animal. Everytime I have an appointment they call me and cancel it because someone either doesn't show up or their "sick". A friend of mine knows one of the dentists and told me they were hungover and couldn't show up to work on teeth. Dangerous steer clear

Let me tell u something about this place. I have been a patient at this location since I was a child. Dr. Seaver was my dentist at one time. Great Dentist by the way, the best. But now we have Dr. Lawson. Wow. What a Dentist he is. I have had problems w my teeth ALL my life due to smoking I believe, and bone loss. So I have had to get dentures. This Dr Lawson made me my first set. We did not like the way they looked, and he did not hesitate to begin working on me a new set. Did I mention...at no charge?. . Wow. What service. Absolutely precise at all he does. Thank you Dr Lawson !!!!You are also the BEST AROUND!!!! I couldn't have been luckier.

Fillings are supposed to last atleast 7 years. Sometimes 20. Mine lasted a little over a year and then they were just like oops sorry we don't take your insurance anymore.? Now I guess I'm losing my tooth eventually because of their mess up because now I can't find a dentist that accepts my insurance .

I had my 2nd appointment here today and I was thinking while I was getting my teeth cleaned that this was the best dentist I have been to. Everyone is nice, and I have an exceptional hygienist that is kind and thorough. 1000% recommend this place!

I was with another dentist for years: one who, at each visit, told me I needed expensive dental work done. The staff at Mountain Empire Dental did not try to up sell me at all. They recommended appropriate treatment and nothing more. Once, I came in as a walk in on a busy day with a minor dental emergency. They saw me within ten minutes; and, I was out the door within thirty. They treat me like family every time. I highly recommend them.

Everyone always calls you by name and remembers details about your life that are important to you. They feel more like a family member than a dental office. They take expert care of your dental health and go out of the way to make sure your are comfortable and informed about your care.

I was with another dentist closer to home for years, but wasn't very satisfied with my experiences there so I tried Mountain Empire Dental. I am so happy I did - they offer top notch service and everyone I have encountered has been so kind - really great people! They really go all out to make you comfortable, aware of what's going on step by step, and educate you on various options to address your issues. I am picky about dentists and I am so glad my search is over! Thank you Mountain Dental and Dr. Cagle - you all are amazing!

My previous dentist retired, so I needed a new one. After looking around I found Mountain Empire Dentil. The entire staff is so caring, helpful and pleasant. Glad that I found them, very pleased.

I was searching for a good dental office for my oral hygiene needs and I happened to find this office. They have a Virginia office and a Tennessee office. I live in Tennessee so I decided to go with the office in Blountville. I called the office to schedule an appointment and was told that they were unfortunately booked until September. I asked if that was the soonest they could possibly see me and I was told yes but that I could be added to a call list incase of any cancellations. My information was taken to add me to that and then I was asked if I was in any pain and I said yes and they asked about what was going on and how long it had been going on for. I was told to hold for a minute and that they were going to see what they could do to get me in sooner due to that. I came off of hold and was greeting by another person who confirmed the issues I stated were going on and what I was concerned about and she told me to hold for a minute and she would see if there was anything soon for the days I had available and to find a time that would work for me. I came off of hold and she informed me they had a slot available and could move some stuff around and get me in as soon as the next morning and I confirmed. I was greeted by nothing but pure kindness by everyone I had encountered over the phone and the day of my appointment my wait time was minimal, as well as being met by friendly staff once taken back to be seen. I am very nervous with dentists and had put off going because of a bad experience when I was younger but Blountville office but me at ease and made me feel at home. They were very informative of what they were doing as well as answering any questions that I had on my care I received.They addressed issues I was concerned about and talked over a game plan for my treatment before it began and for my future treatments that would need to take place. I couldn't have asked for a better dentist office and I'm glad I found my place. I could not recommend this place enough. If you're worried about your dental problems or are scared of dentists, this place is for you. They put you at ease from the moment you call all the way to your trip in and as you walk out the door.

Very courteous and friendly staff. The best experience I've had with a dental practice! Very excited to get my Invisalign. Just received my Invisalign and I am so pleased with them. Such a smooth fitting process. Looking forward to the final results!

I decided to go to Mountain Empire after a referral from a family member. I could not have been treated better. They take time to explain everything they are doing and go over your insurance to make sure you have the best treatment plan available. As someone who has always been anxious about visiting a dentist, they totally made me 100% comfortable and I will now have no problems visiting the dentist regularly. Thanks to everyone there for making this a great experience and I will recommend them to everyone.

My first visit was great. Everyone I met was very friendly, pleasant, and extremely nice. I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. Lisa was amazing. She was very gentle and thorough taking my x-rays and explained everything she was doing and why. She didn't try to rush anything, she took a lot of time going over my options and explaining every thing to me. Then she made up multiple treatments plans and explained every detail so I could understand what needed done and why. Her and Dr. Cagle was very understanding about my anxiety and gave me options on how to try to make me as calm and comfortable as possible. I've had horrible encounters with previous dentists (hence the anxiety). I felt so relieved leaving that I think I found a place I can actually trust. I am very sure once the work begins they will be just as amazing as they was my first appointment. I've already recommended my friends and family too. If the next appointment goes as well as the first I will continue to see them and recommend them to people I know.
