Dr. Joshua Hiller grew up in Centerville, Utah. He received his undergraduate from BYU in microbiologyand later attended theUniversity of Minnesota School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Hiller joined the Air Force. He completed a one year of Advanced Education inGeneral Dentistry Residency and received advanced training in numerous dental specialties. One highlight of serving in the Air Force was a humanitarian mission to Georgetown, Guyana in South America. After four years of active duty, Dr. Hiller and his wife decided to move into private practice in the Pacific Northwest.
Dr. Hiller loves to learn and stays up to date through continuing education courses. Past courses have included implant placement and restoration, periodontal and oral surgeries, oral and IV sedation, bone grafting, endodontics, orthodontics, TMJ care, sleep apnea treatment, full mouth reconstruction and laser dentistry. His professional associations include the WSDA,ADAandAGD.
Dr. Hiller, his wonderful wife, Heidi, and their three children love exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest through hiking, fishing, camping, and visiting the zoo and the beach. You may also find Dr. Hiller enjoying various sports such as running, soccer and golfing.
Dr. Ngo immigrated from Vietnam at 2 years old and has called the Pacific Northwest his home ever since. He earned his undergraduate degree from Oregon State University and dental degree from Oregon Health and Science University.
His goal is to create an excellent patient experience by listening to your individual concerns and treating you like family. He will work with you to create a quality and customized treatment plan catered to your needs.
In his free time, Dr. Ngo enjoy collecting LEGOs and other toys, playing basketball, golfing, fishing, and camping. At home, you can almost always catch him lounging around with his furry friend, Buddie, a pom-pug-pekingese mix whos just a tad bit overweight.

The dental assistant who worked with me was extremely kind and professional....despite me having a horrible attitude at the time. I was nine months pregnant and anticipated having a thorough deep clean before baby was born. When the dental assistant explained they wouldn't be cleaning my teeth (because I was too far along in pregnancy) I grew pretty upset and disappointed. I ended up leaving without making my next appointment that day. However, I am impressed with their level of understanding and genuine interest in helping me have my teeth cleaned in the future (though I may not have been the easiest patient to deal with in the moment). Now my family goes here as well and we cannot say we've had anything but a positive experience. Great clinic with people who care.

I had an emergency dental issue, broke a pre-molar in half. I called around the Vancouver Dentist community trying to get help and no one would take me in, said I needed to come in the next day. I had an exposed nerve and it was very painful! It was at 5pm and no one would see me. Mount Vista answered the phone, after hours, and agreed to stay and had to call back their staff that had already gone home. I arrived and they went to work. The procedure took about 2 hrs. They were very helpful and pleasant. The Doctor & assistant did an amazing job and were very caring about the situation. Thank you to the staff and doctor for such a great experience in such a stressful situation. If you are looking for the best dental care, Mount Vista Family Dental is where you should go!

I can't wait to have my dental exam next week with Mt. Vista Dental. I'm not usually this excited for a dentist appointment, but making this exam means I have survived radiation and chemo after being diagnosed with throat cancer in July. One of my first stops after this life-changing diagnosis was to Mt. Vista Dental to see if they could squeeze me in for a required dental health check before my surgery. Without hesitation, Dr. Hillar and his team opened a spot for me before office hours, with just one day's notice. A few hours after my exam, I received a call from one of the hygienists, Emily, asking if she could stop by my house on her way home from work to drop something off from the team at Mt. Vista Dental. Much to my surprise, Dr. Hillar and his team had coordinated with their Oral B representative and together had put together a complementary dental health package that included an Oral B electric toothbrush, replacement soft-bristle brushes, and three different prescription toothpastes to help get me through my chemo and radiation treatments. I am fortunate to have had several great doctors, nurses, and other medical staff that have helped me along this journey, but Dr. Hillar and the team at Mt. Vista Dental are by far the most compassionate, caring medical professionals I've encountered. Dennis King

I highly recommend Dr. Hiller and his staff. Great experience! No fear dental service! I moved to Vancouver in August. Yesterday was my first visit. I did a quick internet search for a dental office near to where I live and found Mt. Vista Family Dental in Salmon Creek. Dr. Hiller and his staff are wonderful. Professional, friendly and solicitous.

This is the first dental office I have ever been to where I felt so welcomed and cared for. The staff are lovely and very kind, very willing to explain dental procedures as well as answer any questions you have. I highly, highly recommend this place.

Mount Vista has been very professional from the front office to the dental chair! Every employee has shown empathy and professionalism. Dr. Hiller is very through and explains each procedure and makes sure you are comfortable within each step of treatment!

When you enter Mount Vista Family Dental you are treated like you are the only patient in the office and their staff treat you with respect and smiles, immediately you feel comfortable. I originally came to Dr. Hiller to simply have my teeth cleaned because his office was so much closer than my primary dentist. Well I ended up having a really good feel for his entire staff and ended up switching after being with the same dentist for 26 years. There was nothing wrong with my previous dentist I've simply experienced exceptional care and honesty with Dr. Hiller

Friendly, great service. Did a new laser technique that didn't require numbing for my filling. Quick non- invasive and I was able to go about my day like it never happened. Two thumbs up!

This is a Terrific Dental Office. Dr. Hiller and Staff are Excellent at what they do. I have never had a cavity filled without a pain shot first, let alone two cavities..... Well I just did with laser and it was painless, efficient, and quick. Thank you ~

At my dental appointment today, I was given the option of a standard numbing of the tooth or a laser procedure, which I've never heard of. After a little discussion, and since the cost was the same, I opted for the laser. Needless to say I would, given the option, definitely do the laser again. There were two brief periods of pain, which on a scale of one to ten, was a .02. If you are ever given the option, go with the laser.

This office has been nothing but fantastic the entire time I've had the pleasure of using their services! I was even able to try a newer method for fillings. The laser option!! Sounds silly but the laser was able to eliminate the need for numbing (cause I hate needles) and I felt no pain at all!! So happy they have this option now. I can be even less stressed when I come to get my teeth worked on!
