Dr. Michael Cotter is a Major in the US Army Reserves, a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, is a founding member and serves on the council of the International Academy of Endodontics. He is also a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Cotter attended St. Johns University where he played college football and double majored in communications and biology. He then attended NYU College of Dentistry where he served as class president for four years.
Following his graduation from NYU in 2000, Dr. Cotter completed a one-year general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. He then returned to NYU for a two-year post-graduate program in Endodontics where he served as chief resident in his second year.
After practicing and teaching at Montefiore Medical Center as an Endodontist in the New York area, where he founded Endodontics of Westchester Shore in 2003 and Greenwich Endodontics in 2014, Dr. Cotter and his family relocated to Mount Pleasant in 2021. He looks forward to establishing his new practice, Mount Pleasant Endodontics and serving patients in the lowcountry.
Dr. Anya Kent earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 1999 and then received her specialty certification in Endodontics at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare in 2003. Prior to this she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology from Penn State University in 1993.
Dr. Kent is loving all that Charleston and Mount Pleasant have to offer. She plays tennis, golf and loves the beach withher family. In her spare time she walks her hound, paintsand is in a book club. She looks forward to providing you with a caring and comfortable root canal experience.
Carleigh was raised in a military family, but is native to the area. She recently moved to Charleston where an opportunity arose to begin a new career as a Dental Assistant with Mount Pleasant Endodontics. Growing up, she developed a love for dance and being in the studio, which is where she spent most of her time. She was constantly learning how to better her self as a performer and learning interpersonal skills that have sculpted her into the professional she is today. She loves diving into new experiences and opening doors to new opportunities!
Angie Bollinger is a Charleston native. She graduated in 1993 from Trident Tech, and immediately began her career in Dentistry. She enjoys all aspects of Dentistry especially helping patients the most. She resides on John's Island with her husband, David. They have 3 sons & 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys working in her yard, boating, hunting, and being a part of Seacoast Church.
