Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Haven't been to the dentist in years, so I was a little nervous coming in. Alex was very helpful through the whole process, and the entire staff was so nice, overall great visit and recommend to anyone in the area!

Expensive. Look elsewhere. Work is done very well. However after your visit and payment look out for a bill a year and a half later. Won't be going back.

We were in a unique situation where we wanted dental care one week before leaving for six months, so there was a time pressure to get everything done as quickly as possible. That maybe colored some of my experiences, but my wife and I skipped dental care all throughout covid until January, 2020. We were told we were both at risk for bone loss if we didn't get on special mouth washes, laser light treatment for our gums and they identified a bunch of cavities, and we need to come in every three months to triage my mouth. The filling I received did not seat properly, and it hurt for me to chew, unfortunately because I left the country I needed to find a new dentist to fix what they had set. When I reached out to my dentist via their Epic patient portal, I never received a response. Fast forward 6 months and we're back in the US and I'm told my teeth look healthy, I'm not at risk for gum disease and the other filling I was given has a gap that needs to be patched. About the best thing I can say for the experience is they successfully scared my wife and I into brushing and flossing twice a day ever since, so thanks for the healthier teeth! We have since sought out a dentist owned practice instead of a corporate office. There is a lot of cool machines and it does feel like you're on the cutting edge when you go there, but I didn't care for the outcomes.

My entire family just had a check up before moving here a month ago. Between yesterday and todays appointments we all have gum disease and need root canals. Husband went to the dentist at the VA today and no such nonsense with his dental hygiene. We do t have a money tree for you to shake at will.

I had a very pleasant visit. I don't really like the dentist (who does?) however, Dr. Patel is my exception. She is very personable, friendly and gentle! I would recommend her to anyone. I saw many reviews which talked about pricing, but to me they seem to be on par with other dentists I have seen. I will be going back to see Dr. Patel to finish the work I need done.

Dr. Le is awesome. Bright young dentist with a great personality. He took the time to get to know me on my first scheduled visit and carefully explained my issues and treatment plan. His office staff is also very competent. What a change from the dental chain office and staff I switched from! I had visited this office a few weeks earlier with an urgent need to see an endodontist due to some pain I was having with an old crown. I saw Dr. Raiken during that visit and was also very impressed with him. These guys are good!

RUN don't walk as fast as you can AWAY from this dental office. I moved to the area a couple years ago and looking to find a dentist for me and my kids. I LOVE my regular dentist but he is 30 miles away so I decided to take my KIDS in for a regular cleaning to this dental office; which is covered by my insurance. First, the wait was FOREVER. Then, I am told to wait in the lobby while they take my kids back for x-rays. They didn't come back and get me for awhile so I never knew exactly what they did to my 11 yr old while she was in the back. By the time they came to get me they said they were done. Then, they called me over to my oldest child and told me he needed a deep cleaning. They told me it would cost me about $1000 out of pocket that day. I told them I was not prepared for that and to give him a regular cleaning and I will take a treatment plan in writing to look over later. At first the receptionist (I guess their upsell spokesperson) stated he could not get a regular cleaning. After I insisted, he stated he would "check with the doctor". Then came back in and stated they would do the cleaning and provided me with the "Treatment Plan". In the meantime, I went back to the reception area and waited on my oldest child. While in the lobby, another patient was very upset for being OVERCHARGED. He was not disrespectful at all; while the receptionist seemed to get an attitude when the customer asked for a more detailed bill to understand why he was being charged almost $1000. This office is a RIP OFF! I have now gotten my claims statement showing I owe almost $1000 still for my son's regular cleaning and $200 for my 11 year old's cleaning. $100 of that is for "Oral Hygiene Instructions". I do not know what that is but I do know THAT'S A LIE! They did not provide me ANYTHING for her because they were so focused on trying to upsell me on my older child's deep cleaning. I had to even ask did they even clean my younger child's teeth since I saw NOTHING! I regret I ever went here. This has me appreciating my regular dentist so much now; I will now ride those 30 miles to avoid places like this. My regular dentist is HONEST!

I have felt comfortable with Dr. Le and his dental assistant Kat from my very first visit two years ago, right up through my last visit earlier this month. They are both very bright of spirit and explain things very clearly. The office staff is also very helpful. Glad to have found a dental practice that I actually enjoy going to.

From Carlos and Noelle at the front desk, masters of appointments and insurance, to Kit and Angy, dental techs extraordinaire, to the kindest dentist, Dr. Thien Le, and the countless others I didn't mention, kudos for making it easy to keep dental health an easy and (yes) enjoyable experience.

This is the best dentist experience I've ever had. Dr. Le, Carlos, Velma and all of his staff are the most caring professionals you will ever meet! I used to fret going to the dentist with so much anxiety because I knew there would always be so much pain. But Dr. Le and his modern techniques keep me calm even when he's drilling! And hardly any pain at all if any! I highly recommend Modern Dentistry in Mout Dora to everyone I know!
