At Mount Airy Pediatric Dentistry, we believe in helping kids develop healthy boundless smiles. Our goal is to provide the latest in education based on the recommendations based on the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Kids are always growing and changing, and we are here to help prevent the most common dental ailments. We provide comprehensive care from the first tooth to the development of your childs wisdom teeth.

Most kids do not enjoy visiting the dentist. It is our mission to change that. We want them to feel good about visiting the dentist and teach them the skills they need to care for their teeth. We want to ensure that each visit is pleasant, comfortable and we develop trust between our dentists and your children.

Mount Airy Pediatric Dentistry is passionate about your childrens teeth. We want them to have a positive experience, so they are excited about brushing their teeth and having the skills to keep their teeth healthy for a lifetime.

I have 2 kiddos that go here. My oldest says he loves going to the dentist! That speaks to how kind they are and how comfortable they make him feel. We have only had good experiences here.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 simply because most of the staff are amazing, nice, patient and polite. However, my 6 year old is needing a couple of his front teeth pulled and has a couple of small cavities on his baby molar teeth. They told me I'd have to bring him 4 separate appointments to get this done, or have him put to sleep and get it done all at once. Me, being a working mom, thought it was pretty ridiculous to have to bring him in 4 separate times for something pretty simple, so I reluctantly opted for him being put to sleep. I get checked out at the front office, they tell me I have to bring him on a Monday for the surgery,I tell them I work on Mondays, they tell me I have no choice, that Monday is the only day they do surgery, so I'm like ok. They then don't even give me a date or time, they tell me they'll call me. Well once I get home and see the massive amount of paperwork I've got to fill out, I see that the surgery is only done in GREENSBORO. They failed to tell me that at the office. It just seems they're trying to nickel and dime you to death and get as much money as possible and waste your time. I am not going to participate in this circus anymore, it's ridiculous. I have already found a better place to take my son.

They cancelled our childrens appointments with 24 hours notice twice. Both my wife and I took off work to take our 3 kids and planned for these appointments weeks in advance. With 24 hours notice they were cancelled. When we called, the lady we talked with did not care and only repeated that it is there policy to cancel appointments if they are overbooked. Some of the worst customer service ever and so sorry people answering the phones. Will not ever recommend them and will be telling all our dental practice families to never refer their patients to this office.

I scheduled 3 appointments last week for my children. One of my daughters is struggling with tooth pain. I asked if she could be seen sooner than the others but they said No. They advise me to keep her on liquids and give her over the counter medication if need until her appointment date. I missed a day of work because this appointment was extremely needed for my daughter. When i arrived i was told all 3 appointments had been CANCEL because they were not confirmed via text. Now, my phone was stolen at the gym and I have not been able to get another phone due to financial difficulties. We'll, not only did I missed a day at work but my daughter is still in pain. I just did not appreciate the fact that they need she was in pain and that this appointment was necessary but stilled took it upon themselves to just cancel it. I did point is a lost for trust and commitment to your clients.

I'm writing this review before I have left the parking lot.. As a first time Mom, of a toddler, this could not have been a better experience for a first dentist appointment. Not only is the dentist and all staff extremely kind, they are quick! In and out in 30 mins, but wasn't rushed either. With a toddler, waiting 1 min is equivalent to waiting hours. Took enough time to make my son comfortable, yet got right down to business! I know we've only been once, but it was enough to keep us coming back! We both look forward to our check-up in 6 months! Also, they have dog pictures everywhere!

My daughter had her first appointment and was very nervous (she hates having her teeth brushed as it is) but they were so patient with her and so kind. They convinced gently to let them look at her teeth but didn't push her too far. Overall, a great experience especially for a nervous toddler. They did great!

My 3kids just had 1st initial exam & 1 child is difficult special needs & I've been everywhere from the twin cities specialty clinics in Minnesota, places in Wisconsin and Illinois to here & this place was by far 10000x's the best, the girls assisting were phenomenal & the dentist dressed as batman for Halloween week & was so informative so helpful and was just amazing definitely recommending to everyone

I think that 5 stars is way over rated, this dental clinic by far has been the absolute worst experience for my 6 yr old. Never again would I recommend this place. They tried to say my insurance was 50% coverage when it was way more... spent more time trying to figure out if my insurance would cover vs dental care... your better off taking your kid to health dept.

Dr Amy was a Joy! Took my little three year old girl there for the first time. She knew just what to do in order to ease her fears! Highly recommend her office to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.
