Dr. Moscattini was born and raised in Toronto, Canada to parents of Italian heritage. After attending high school in Toronto, he played the professional tennis circuit. Inspired by a family friend that was an oral surgeon,he then attended Mississippi State University majoring in chemistry/pre-dental. While there, he wason a full tennis scholarship earning among many titles the achievement ofAll-American status. That is also where he met and later married his wife in 1991.
Dr. Moscattinithen proceeded to graduate from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry in 1996 and purchase the practice in Duluth, Georgia. As a member of the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Hinman Dental Society, he is continually updating his dental knowledge and skills to the most current technology and procedures.

Vimyr or 'V' as we like to call her was initially a dental asst here in our office. After returning to dental hygiene school, she is now back again as one of our hygienists. Patients love her friendly personality and gentle touch. In her spare time, Vimyr likes to try new restaurants and loves traveling with a goal of visiting a new country each year. Originally from the Philippines, she also speaks Tagalog.

I have used Dr. Moscattini as my dentist for a long time. Each time I go, I have a great experience. He has done a superb job in fixing any problem I have had with my dental hygiene; from a simple cavity to a root canal. The staff in the front office, the assistants in the back, & the dental hygienists are all very professional and courteous. I have had many appointments at Moscattini Dental over the years, & I have been pleased with the dental work & office staff courtesy each time. I will continue to use Dr Moscattini as my dentist.

I've been seeing Dr. Roy for almost 20 years. I've NEVER had a bad experience, and I have really crowded teeth with LOTS of extra bones (Tori). I'm doomed to become the next elephant man. I've no money or motivation to fix these issues..... Doc Roy Rocks, and understands every situation. Dr. Roy is a wonderful dentist. Period. I have a crush on my hygienist, V. I plan to eat an entire box of Oreos, and a box of dry Frosted Mini Wheats prior to my next visit, in order to stay longer. She can poke around in my ugly mouth anytime. LOL.

I have been going to Moscattini for almost 10 years now ever since I moved to Gwinnett. I have had nothing but positive experiences. My wife switched to Moscattini after having problems with a dentist that is closer to our house. We drive from Lawrenceville to Duluth specifically to go to Moscattini. I'm prone to tooth damage, so most of my teeth are crowned. Dr. Moscattini is always gentle and caring in both the diagnosis and any treatment, such as a filling on my last visit. I've had a number of root canals and/or crowns from him over the 10 years. They all went well. My cleanings are also more involved, but the 2 hygienists I've dealt with always do a thorough job without causing much pain. All of the staff are very sociable if you want them to be. They remember me and things I've talked about every time I go in, and they inquire about things on each visit. It's definitely easier to relax when everyone has a friendly face and smile. Considering most of them have been there since I first visited, I'm sure they are treated well as employees. They make sure to give a complete breakdown both before and after a procedure, so you clear on the costs. The prices have been in line with what I've paid in Carrollton. Everyone is willing to discuss any additional possible procedures, such as when I inquired about dental implants. They don't try to push sales, but they will give information and advice when asked. If you are unable to afford a procedure, they can come up with alternative plans or possibly make arrangements. The office is clean and professional with the waiting area having some style. But, the wait has never been more than 5 minutes unless they are dealing with an emergency or complicated patient. You can easily book a cleaning and know you'll be in and out in less than an hour. It's the most efficient office I've ever dealt with. Even PCPs have a longer wait. No matter what condition your teeth are in or what you need done, Moscattini Dental will take care of you with professionalism and friendliness.

I had an awful experience here. The hygienist who did my cleaning was so rude. First of all, I'm a dentist but I don't have the license to practice here because I just moved in recently, so my review will be based on that. The hygienist was NOT updated on the new protocol for assessing cavities from the American Dental Association + she said my wisdom teeth were in a bad position and I should pull them out when they were just impacted in a fine position for years and it's so clear they will never erupt. + she was so aggressive while doing the scaling! She was also inconsiderate when she took my x-rays. I asked her to use cotton gauze underneath the film but she said she can't although she could. I expressed pain and she did not even express empathy which is the least she could do. Overall she was so not welcoming, did not even bother to fake a smile. Dr. Roy seemed like a nice man tho, we did not interact much he just came in for a fast examination and said everything was okay. The front desk were nice too. It's just that the hygienist ruined the whole thing!

If you're looking for a great dental service, this is the place. Dr. Moscattini and his staff are top notch. Appointments are on time, costs clear, and the work done is always in line with the newest procedures. His two hygienists are a big part of my being here for years, both pleasant and professional. But most importantly, they do an excellent, thorough job. These folks are the kind I like to give my business.

Visited their office yesterday with my 2 kids. Had a great experience. They were able to get us in at the last minute for a cleaning for 3 of us and did a great job! We didn't even have to wait too long and each cleaning was done in about 30-40 minutes. Highly recommend them if you're looking for fast, dependable and friendly service. They take our insurance too, Anthem BCBS, so that was a Bonus!

This is the best dental clinic: For me, most important is they respect your time, appointments are always on time, and service is always prompt. Then, Dr Moscattini goes the extra mile: in my case, I had a piece in very bad conditions and about to be lost, but he and his team were able to save it doing an extra effort. Finally, all the staff is super super friendly, professional and corteous, and they follow up (I'm waiting for an available spot which matches their and my schedule, and they have been calling me to provide alternatives as soon as they appear. Super recommendable. Kudos to Dr Roy and all the team.
