He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and is section chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Mease/Morton Plant Hospital. He also enjoys surgical privileges at the following hospitals; Mease Health Care Dunedin, Mease Health Care Countryside, and North Bay Hospital.
His practice specializes in the surgical restoration of the oral cavity and he is regarded by his peers as a leading surgeon and educator. His highly regarded abilities have lead to thousands of patients experiencing lasting and healthful dental and maxillofacial restorations.
He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the University of Florida, where he also resided as Chief Resident. He also completed a year of General Surgery at Shands Hospital in Gainesville.

Since 2013, Dr. Mehta has been a consultant for Maxillofacial Surgery at trauma center atRegional Medical CenterBayonet Point. As one of the only local Maxillofacial Surgeons specializing in facial trauma surgery, he spends considerable time taking care of patients with facial injuries which can involve extensive facial reconstruction.
He is also a consultant with privileges for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery atRegional Medical Center Bayonet Point,Morton Plant Northbay Hospital, Mease Countryside Hospital and Mease Dunedin Hospital.
A Tampa native, Dr. Shaun Young was born and raised in Brandon, Florida. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in Gainesville. There, he was a student-athlete and played on the Mens Tennis Team. He then attended the University of Florida College of Dentistry and earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree while also serving as the Dental school class president. During this time, he met his wife, Dr. Valentina Espinosa.
Dr. Young completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he also served as the Administrative Chief Resident. His exceptional surgical training and exposure to multiple community hospitals serving diverse populations have afforded him invaluable experience and knowledge in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Youngs surgical expertise includes dentoalveolar surgery, implants and bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, maxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, oral pathology, and temporomandibular joint surgery.
Dr. Landrian was born in Camaguey, Cuba and immigrated to the United States in 2001. Hecompleted his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2009 where he obtained aBachelors Degree in Microbiology and Cell Science.
Dr. Landrian then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree (D.M.D) at the University ofFlorida College of Dentistry and went on to obtain his Medical Degree (M.D) at the University ofMaryland School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed a year of General Surgery aswell as an extensive anesthesia training.
Dr. Landrian then completed a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the renowned University of Maryland/R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, serving as chief administrative resident in his last year. He is also a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon whose areas of interest include outpatient ambulatory anesthesia, dentoalveolar surgery, implants, corrective jaw surgery, trauma, reconstruction and benign pathology.

Again I am reposting . In conclusion to my original post by arfuello Scott...... Still no refund has been made. In fact the dr.i specifically mentioned had the nerve to call me back on my private line a yet and intimidate me about my review. That's mine, no one else's. Don't try to cover up. Very unprofessional. Never refunded my 100 dollars just took it a sent me out of his office. Please look into a different directionwhen considering this practice. When I was told by my family dentist that they found cysts under two of my crowns and that I need treatment as this was potentially a form of cancer, I was referred to Dr. Mehta. I did not know what to expect as I had many friends who had really bad outcomes with oral surgery in the Tampa Bay Area. I have to say from the beginning of the journey every visit and every procedure I had the absolute best care, exemplary work and an outstanding outcome. Not a single issue, each surgery/procedure recovery time was short with very little disruption to my life. I am grateful for the expertise of Dr. Mehta and his team. I recommend them to everyone.
