Michael Lewis, DDS, Ryan Lloyd, DMD, and Andre LaMothe, DDS, have extensive experience practicing the full scope of oral and facial care. My son's wisdom teeth extraction went extremely well. His recovery time was less than 1 week and experienced minimal pain. Definitely pleased with the whole experience.

Honestly, I thought they were going to mess up my mouth and thought all the reviews were bots but it went pretty well over all. I'm writing this on my 14th day post surgery and I'm able to eat without problems now. I ate yogurt, smoothies, and pasta for 13 days straight. I went in for consultation on September 29, 2022. My surgery was October 5, 2022. My surgeon was Ryan Llord, he was around 30 minutes late to the appointment (8 AM) and then the surgery started quickly after his arrival at 8:35 AM. I then woke up at 9:15 am All 4 of my wisdom teeth were out in some way. One was crooked, two were fully out, one was halfway out. It was $2,985 total. It will probably cost more if your teeth haven't ruptured or if they're impacted. Also, I was given full anesthesia I was given a check up appointment on my 8th day post surgery. The check up appointment only took around 2 minutes. They gave me my prescription to pick up the medicine before my surgery. I was given two types of medicine for pain (ibuprofen 800mg and hydrocodone-acetamin 325 mg) and one antibiotic (amoxicillin 500 mg). I only took the antibiotics since I never had any pain during my healing process. My mouth was 100% numb for 24 hours so from 9:15am until the next day when I woke up I was given one ice bag to put on my cheeks while I was driven home. I wasn't given a syringe to clean out my holes. I was given my gauze in a nice clean plastic bag which was nice My girlfriend got her 4 wisdom teeth (all impacted, not ruptured, so a more risky surgery) by Dr. Andres F. Herrera DDS and it has gone pretty well so far. She is on her 9th day post surgery and is doing better. They had to cut into her cheeks to get the teeth out since they didn't have much space to work with. After her surgery, they gave her two ice packs to put on her cheeks, a syringe, and gauze but they didn't put any of this in a nice little plastic bag. Also, they didn't schedule a follow up appointment nor did send her the prescription until AFTER the surgery. (MOSA sent my prescription before the surgery) Also, they only gave her pain medication (ibuprofen & hydrocodone-acetamin). They did NOT give her antibiotics So, those are two comparisons. Her surgery was $4,500 total but they did have to take out 8 teeth overall + her 4 wisdom teeth weren't fully ruptured + they did give her two ice packs & syringe BUT they did not schedule a follow up appointment, did not give antibiotics, did not send the medicine prescription until after the surgery so she did have to suffer with pain until they finally sent the prescription. Anyways, MOSA Oral Maxillofacial is genuinely a 5/5 pretty great, cool, and all of the workers were kind. The main office worker that talks to clients was super cool and helped me get in contact with my insurance (I didn't know how insurance works). Thank you all for the great hospitality If you are a paranoid worried person and are trying to choose the right place, I highly recommend MOSA & then Dr. Andres Herrera. I just remembered one of my other friends took out their 4 ruptured wisdom teeth with Dr. Andres Herrera for $3,200 around November 2021 and it went well for him too. Oh yeah, MOSA consultation was $395. The $395 is included in the $2,985 price I mentioned earlier though. So, final price - consultation was $2,590 for the surgery itself. Dr. Andres Herrera consultation for my girlfriend was $120

I am very pleased with the care I received at MOSA. Dr. LaMothe and staff were very kind and professional. I needed to have a tooth pulled and opted to have local anesthesia. The whole process took a very short time and was virtually painless. They did such a wonderful job.

They were amazing!!!! They got me in same day. Did an amazing job, because I'm very hard to get numb. They were very detailed to the tee on what they were going to do. I Got Anesthesia they made sure I had my prescription. And followed up with me!

We had an excellent experience at MOSA (Salinas office) for my daughter's wisdom teeth removal. The office staff are friendly, professional, and mindful of Covid protocols. Dr. Lloyd is very personable and explained everything in our consultation. He also reassured my daughter who was nervous about the anesthesia and procedure. Day of surgery went smoothly and the office was fantastic about following up (several times over the course of recovery). Would highly recommend MOSA and Dr. Lloyd!

Dr. LaMothe removed my daughter's wisdom teeth. Dr. LaMothe and his team did an amazing job preparing her for the procedure and answered all her questions. They made her feel relaxed and comfortable on the day of the procedure and continued to check on her a while she was recovering. Dr. LaMothe and the whole office showed excellent care of my daughter! Highly recommend!

Loved how helpful and detailed they where. Taking my wisdom teeth out and being under anesthesia was very scary as it was my first surgery ever!! I didn't feel any pain afterwards. A week post-op there was only a slight discomfort which was typical of the healing process. My overall experience was phenomenal and would highly recommend MOSA Oral Maxillofacial & Dentist.

This is, hands down, THE BEST DENTAL care I have received in a VERY long time. Kudos to Dr. Lloyd and his team. They were fast, they were efficient. We moved 3 years ago from Utah. I am learning how care is VERY DIFFERENT here in California (and not necessarily in a good way). Dr. Llloyd and his team proved me wrong. I had all four wisdom teeth extracted and somehow the process was painless. Literally and figuratively. Dr. Lewis gave me an overview of what would happen during and after the procedure and it was all over in about an hour. I had an easy recovery and the office checked in to make sure things were going well. I was seen immediately upon entering at all of my visits and the staff was incredible at answering all of my questions. I highly recommend this office!
