Dr. Fang was born in Taiwan, immigrated to the US at age 14 and was raised in Queens, New York. He graduated from New York University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. He then attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and Mailman School of Public Health where he received his DDS and MPH degrees. He then began an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey, Newark, NJ. and completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn New York. Dr. Fang also was a member of Medical Mission Delegate, ENAHPA (Ethiopia North American Health Professional Association) in 2004. He maintains admitting privileges at Beth Israel-Mt. Sinai Medical Center and the Brooklyn Hospital Center and he has published several papers. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Fang is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, and New Jersey Dental Association. He is also on the staff of Morristown Medical Center.
Juan has his DMD degree and is Dr. Fangs Surgical Assistant. After graduating from Passaic County Technical School, Juan received his DMD at UNIBE in the Dominican Republic. He has donated his time to many outreach programs caring for those whose dental needs are underserved. His last opportunity was working with the Medical Students of America for various charitable programs. . During Juans Surgical Assisting previous positions, he has been the Lead Assistant involved in supervision and training of others in all dental specialties. Juan is Basic Life Support certified.
Heather has her BS In Biology and her BSN in Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse and Surgical Assistant for Dr. Fang. Heather has been assisting Dr. Fang for several years and is also the Assistant Office Manager. She is familiar with oral surgery assisting techniques and has assisted in many other types of surgery in her role as RN. Heather also works in the Emergency Department at Morristown Medical Center.

Everyone is so nice and pleasant there, where they make you feel welcomed. The Surgeon is great. My appointment was at 1:15 and I was done by 2pm. I would recommend this Dentist service to everyone. I'm super happy even after getting my teeth pulled. I would like to think his assistant Stacy for all her help. She made sure I knew about the after care, and she super pleasant. Thanks Dr Fang.

Dr. Fang and his team made my oral surgery procedure comfortable. I was very nervous about getting my teeth extracted. However, Dr. Fang explained everything and asked me if I was okay throughout the entire time. I never thought that I would laugh while getting my teeth removed, but they did it. My procedure was a bit long but they didn't rush me out and even took the time to do additional things. I highly recommend to anyone that wants a good experience.

My mom was suffering from a terrible toothache and when I called Dr. Fang's office, they were able to fit her in the very next day and take care of her problem. Very capable doctor and very friendly staff! We're very pleased!

I'm writing this only a few hours after getting two of my wisdom teeth extracted... Dr. Fang is excellent at what he does. He thoroughly explained the process, the risks and has a great bedside manner. I have very tiny veins and wanted to be put to sleep, when I couldn't be put to sleep I was extremely anxious about being awake for the procedure... I felt NOTHING. The surgery was completely painless and he let me know after he extracted each tooth that we were making progress during the procedure which reassured me because was just waiting for something to go wrong. Dr. Fang continuously asked me if I was okay or feeling pain. I already feel nearly back to normal and even with my TMJ I'm not feeling much pain after the fact. On top of everything else, his office staff is very responsive and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Fang.

Well well well I had an open eye root removal done in 3 minutes!! Whew and wow. I'm eating Mac and cheese right now!! This staff and facility unmatched!! They gave my little one stickers toothbrushes and sunglasses for entertainment. I tried to stop them during the procedure Dr. Fang was so confident he took away all the jitters and I was done. Sent home with meds and all. So precise. Much appreciated. I will tell everyone. You have a new fan!!! Thank you so much Morristown Oral Surgery !!

In the past year, I have had to have 8 of my teeth removed, my four wisdom teeth as well as 4 (pre)molars. Both times I have trusted Morristown Oral Surgery to handle taking these teeth out, I do not regret that one second. Both Dr. Fang and Juan are absolutely great to work with and have made both my experiences with extractions incredibly pleasant. If you're looking for somewhere/one to trust with your oral surgery needs, you've found your place. You could not pay me to go somewhere else should I ever need to have any other type of oral surgery done.
