Dr. Ok is proficient in Endodontics, surgical placement of implants, extractions, crown and bridge, Botox and Juvederm fillers.
Dr. MK as we call her, is a graduate of Rutgers University and has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. She received her D.M.D from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she was granted the Deans List Academic Award for being in the top 5% of her class. Dr. MK is proficient in the diagnosis and treatment planning of complex, multidisciplinary cases. She is comfortable treating both medically compromised and emergency patients following her residency at University Hospital(RSDM). She is also Invisalign trained.
Dr. MK is committed to providing compassionate care utilizing the most advanced technology and techniques. She values her patients comfort and strives to make every visit a pleasant experience. In her free time, Dr. MK enjoys baking, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Naqvi is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. While in dental school, Dr. Naqvi was inducted into the Matthew Cryer Honors Society and received Honors in Community Oral Health and an Achievement Award in Pharmacology and Therapeutics. After dental school, Dr. Naqvi went on to advance her training at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she enhanced her skills in all phases of dentistry, including endodontics, surgical extractions, implant dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Naqvi strives to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile for every patient by focusing on patient needs, delivering clinical excellence, and providing comprehensive dental care. Dr. Naqvi promotes a safe and relaxing dental environment for all her patients through open communication and the latest technologies. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the New Jersey Dental Association.
At Morristown Family Dental, we provide clear braces throughout the Morristown area. Straight teeth are important for your overall oral health. The procedure works by placing a metal bracket onto the surface of each tooth and running a wire through those brackets. It is impossible not to notice when someone is wearing traditional metal braces. While the treatment works, it can also negatively impact a persons' appearance while doing so. This has led many people to seek out a better option, one that we provide.
At Morristown Family Dental, we offer clear alternatives for adults and teens the greater Morristown area. We can straighten teeth and move them into the perfect position so the patient has a beautiful and radiant straight smile. If you have crooked teeth, unsightly gaps between your teeth or a misaligned bite, then we can help to correct these issues and more. Clear braces work just as effectively as metal braces but with some major improvements. Clear braces are much more difficult to notice, making them ideal for busy professionals, teens and those that do not want to negatively impact their current appearance during the process.
There are several types of clear and barely visible options to choose. One operates similarly to traditional metal braces where we place a bracket onto each tooth and thread a wire between the brackets. The difference is that instead of being made out of metal, the brackets for clear braces consists of a tooth-colored resin that blends in with the natural tooth. The wire is also tooth-colored so that the braces themselves are almost invisible and difficult to see. We find that this solution works well for teens and adults that are able to practice proper dental hygiene with the clear braces. Otherwise, food can stain the brackets. This solution is an excellent alternative to traditional braces and is just as effective at addressing all oral health concerns.
Clear braces also come in the form of aligners. Clear aligners look like a full retainer that surrounds the teeth and are worn on the upper and lower teeth. Aligners are more convenient to wear than metal braces since patients can remove them when necessary. One of the major concerns that people have with wearing braces is that they do not come off until the treatment is complete. If, for example, you get braces then decide to get married, you will either have braces in your wedding pictures or need to pay to remove them and reinstall them after. Simultaneously, if you have a big presentation at work and want to impress a client, your braces cannot come off for the meeting. This leaves many adults apprehensive about committing to a two-year treatment plan. We understand that appearance is important for more than vanity. I had the best experience from the first phone call to see if they participate with my insurance. Chantel is so nice and informative. The assistant and the dentist work so well together. I am so happy with my new Dentist and staff!!

My dental phobia went straight out the door after my first encounter with Morristown Family Dental. The facilities are clean, the staff is both professional and friendly. Chantel is so helpful and pleasant you would feel right at home. I especially commend the fact that everything runs smoothly and on time there. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.

I just had to come on here and give my honest opinion on the excellent customer service I got. The office was clean, the staff were accommodating, my appointment was on time on schedule. The office manager made sure that everything went smoothly, extremely friendly and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you so much and I cannot wait for my next visit for my cleaning.

Outstanding work from everyone I encountered at this office. The Doctor was extremely thorough, making sure even the slightest mark in my mouth was safe and not harmful. The hygienist provided the best cleaning I've ever received; I've been to the dentist countless times and this was the first hygienist to floss my teeth! Little did I know that's supposed to be done. She took her time and I never felt even the slightest discomfort. Dealing with the front desk was a breeze, they were extremely friendly, made sure my needs were met, and scheduled my next appointment without any difficulty. I'll be back in February and I'm oddly looking forward to my next dentist visit.

THE ENTIRE STAFF IS AMAZINGLY DOWN TO EARTH, KNOWLEDGABLE AND PROFESSIONAL. AS FOR DR. OAK AND ANNA THE NURSE, I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT THEM. Morristown Family Dental feels like home. This was my first experience with this practice and I don't think I will be going anywhere else in the future. It started with scheduling an appointment with the office manager Chantel. My schedule is very busy and yet she was so calm, warm and accommodating and we were able to make something work. In addition to that, they had a cancellation prior to my appointment and Chantel called to find out whether or not I would like to come in for that time. Unfortunately, it did not work out for that day, and I know that probably many dental offices do this, but the fact that she thought of me and was willing to call as soon as the cancellation happened, knowing my schedule, I felt cared for. On the day of my appointment I came in right on time and it was Chantel who took my temperature. For some reason my skin was too cold for an accurate reading so while we waited for me to warm up she joked around with me which made me feel comfortable. With her being the first introduction to the practice I felt as if I made the right choice. She was so professional while at the same time being warm and welcoming. I then had the pleasure of meeting Nina the hygienist who was also incredibly warm and kind. She did everything with such care and kindness while giving everything to me straight. She definitely took her time. She was also aware of the fact that I had a meeting immediately after the appointment and was working as quickly and thoroughly as she could to ensure my teeth and mouth were taken care of while getting me out of the chair as fast as possible. Dr. Chiang came in and gave me an exam towards the end of my cleaning. He gave sage advice and both he and Nina were so encouraging about the care I needed to take moving forward as well as things to keep an eye on. At the end I was given a specialized goodie bag with items I could use that would help in my continued oral care. It was a great experience overall. I have yet to mention how clean and state of the art the entire place is. Parking was no problem and everything was sanitized. I felt really comfortable. I can't thank the entire team enough, but I want to make sure again I shout out Dr. Chiang, Nina and especially Chantel for making what can feel like a scary experience feel as comfortable as possible. Definitely would recommend this team to anyone looking for dental care. Literally anyone.

I'm giving this 3 stars simply for the price. 506.00$ for a cleaning and x-rays if you don't have insurance. Very nice staff and clean facility. Outrageous prices never paid that much for a cleaning and x-rays in my life.
