Dr. Stelzman graduated from the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis in 1971. He served as captain for four years in the United States Air Force stationed in Japan and Alabama. Dr. Stelzman opened up shop in Strawberry Plains in 1976 and later opened his Morristown office in 1980. He and his wife Jan have two grown children, and 6 grandchildren. Dr. Stelzman moved to our current location, 1025 W 1st North Street, in 2006. He and his wife are active members at First Baptist Church of Morristown. He is a member of the Morristown Chamber of Commerce, ADA, TDA, Second District Dental Society, AGD, East Tennessee Academy of Dental Practice Management, and The Lakeway Dental Society. Dr. Stelzman is an avid reader, enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and spoiling his grandchildren. If you are lucky, you will catch him riding his 1958 Jaguar around town.
Dr. Hamilton received his DDS in May of 2015 in Memphis TN. He was the recipient of the Dr. Maurice Petrovsky fixed Scholarship, as well as the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics award. Tyler and his wife Chesnea welcomed their first child in May 2018. They enjoy travelling to new places, hiking in the smokies, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Ricker did a amazing job placing a crown on my molar after I broke it! 10/10 she was very attentive and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. She made the procedure go by very quickly too! Dr. Hamilton checked in as well and they made observations on how to fix it the best way! Recommend them for any work! Front office was very helpful with insurance information too!

I was asked to come in at 2:15 instead of my scheduled 3:30 appointment. I scheduled at 3:30 6 months earlier so I would not have to miss work. I was usually in and out within 30/45 minutes so I agreed to come in early. After getting my teeth cleaned (30ish minutes), I waited 45 minutes to see the doctor about getting a night guard which would cost $250. I left because I had to be back at work. I could hear the doctor talking to another patient or someone while I waited about dieting, Botox, and their families. I was very disappointed as I felt my time was not valued and my effort to come in early was not honored.

I had my first visit for a cleaning and new patient visit. I was very impressed with the entire staff. The doctor took the time to get to know me and recommend the best treatment for me. They were very personable and professional! Great experience!

My experience with Dr. Hamilton was absolutely amazing. See, im a huge baby - very intolerant for pain and I had 3 extractions, top right back teeth. I nearly fainted in procedure and let me clarify that it was not bc anything the staff did. Like I said im a huge baby. The nurse held my hand, Dr was so very kind and thoughtful throughout my visit, and he is one-on-one. When Dr. Hamilton is with you, hes with only you. You are his primary focus and your health is most important to him. I'll never, for the rest of my life, go anywhere else. I can't wait to follow up in 2 weeks!!! Bless the staff, its like walking into a room full of your own family. I highly recommend this Dentist for all your needs going forward. Anyone else just won't do. Thank you so much to the staff with Dr. Hamilton

Dr. Hamilton is an awesome dentist! I recommend Morristown Dental Center to all my friends. I had a fear of going to the dentist, like alot of people, but he took that fear away!! He's did an amazing job extracting all my teeth and getting me ready for my dentures.

Dr. Hamilton seemed te be worried about money rather than my true needs. First off I went in with two bad teeth, both id like to of been filled if possible if not then extract them. After he looked at my teeth he determined that both teeth are beyond fillings and wanted me to get crowns, so I asked him to pull them because they were bothering me. He then told me before he pulled them he wanted me to get my teeth clean, so I go into their office for a cleaning mind you with two hurting teeth still. They determine a normal cleaning wouldn't work but rather I needed a deep cleaning which would take a couple different visits. I quit going there and started seeing another dentist. Guess what? One of those two teeth are filled because it was good enough to fill and the other tooth I just got extracted but it wasn't even the tooth Dr. Hamilton said was bad it was a different tooth. The tooth he said was bad is just fine.

Excellent dental care! My husband and I had our first visit to Morristown Dental Center today, and we were really impressed. The entire staff was friendly, punctual and professional. The hygienist was very gentle during our cleanings and x-rays. The dentist is very friendly, and did a thorough exam. The entire office is clean and inviting. Their prices are reasonable. We highly recommend this dental office!
