Dr. Nazish Haq is a native of New Jersey where she completed her BA in Chemistry and minor in Math from Rutgers University. She graduated Cum Laude with high honors and also received the prestigious Ronald Rahman Award for excellence in Analytical Chemistry. Dr. Haq then pursued her DMD from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine where she spent a year doing in depth research on human pathogens involved in periodontal disease.
After receiving her DMD, she enrolled in a postgraduate program at Rutgers. This challenging program focused on Pediatric dentistry, Oral surgery, Periodontics and dentistry in the operating room. She especially enjoyed working in the Oral Medicine department because of the compassion and kindness that was necessary to treat medically compromised patients.
Dr. Haq strives to provide the kind of care for her patients as if they are a part of her own family. Developing a personal relationship with them and making them feel comfortable during treatment is her number one goal. Offering amenities such as pillows, blankets and even headphones are always available to patients who experience anxiety in the dental chair.
When Dr. Haq is not doing dentistry, she enjoys traveling across the globe, volunteering and cooking. Being a fitness enthusiast at heart, Dr. Haq also enjoys activities like rollerblading, biking, hiking, bouldering and anything outdoors with her wonderful husband, Hasan.

Having been born into a military family then finding true love to a military man, Paige has lived in 9 different states and 3 different countries. Getting her start in the dental field at Luke AFB as an assistant, she soon found that Dental Hygiene was her true calling. 'I love the relationships and the influence for better oral care that I can affect.' Seeing the quality of work that Light Dental Studies exhibits and the care for the community such as 'South Sound Free Dental Day' makes me proud to be a member.
Jeanine began her career in dentistry in 2002 as a dental assistant where she quickly realized that she found her calling. She fully enjoyed the teamwork that it took for the office to run well and her new found passion for her patients to be comforted and given the best possible care. This fit that she found in dentistry gave her the drive to go back to school, even as a single mother of two boys. She completed her education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2010 and is beyond grateful that her passion for her career and patients grows stronger every day! Her approach is rooted in compassion, a desire to educate her patients and form a bond where they can work together as a team to improve their oral health.
Jeanine moved from Colorado to Washington in 2018 when she fell in love with an old childhood friend who lives here in Tacoma. She is very excited that all of her team at Light Dental Studios at the Pacific Ave office shares her passion for working together to serve our patients with the highest respect, kindness and compassion they deserve.
