Dr. Morgan was born in Scotland and spent his early childhood in Geneva, Switzerland. He moved with his family to Chapel Hill, NC when he was 8 years old. He is the youngest of three boys. He graduated Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a Psychology degree. He then went on to Boston University to earn his Masters Degree in Public Health. After graduating, he attended UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, one of the best dental schools in the country.
Upon Graduation, he served as the director of the Haywood County Public Health Dental Clinic for two years. He provided dental services to Medicaid Insured children and adults. He then worked in a respected cosmetic and restorative private practice in Asheville the following year. It was after working in Asheville that he was able to fulfill his dream of owning his own dental practice when he purchased his Hendersonville practice in March of 2008.
Dr. Morgan is also a dedicated father and husband. He and his wife have been married for 17 years. Together, they are devoted to their adorable daughters, ages 11 and 9 and their son age 6. All of his children are avid basketball players! As a family, they enjoy hiking, riding bikes, playing basketball, reading, and traveling.
Dr. Morgan is a 7-time competitor in the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii and has been competing in triathlons since he was a teenager. When you are in the office you might notice his enthusiasm for triathlons. He is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying his family.
Terri and her husband, JR, have been married for 20 years and have three children. They are expecting two grandchildren very soon! She also has two dogs and five grand-puppies. Terri loves painting, listening to music, bike riding, and spending time with family and friends.
Julie is also a Dental Hygienist and has been in the profession for 27years.She worked with Dr. Floren until he retired. She has been working for Dr. Morgan for 7 years. She graduated from Asheville-Buncombe Technical College with A.S. in Dental Hygieneand is also trained in CPR and OSHA.
All of herchildren have paws- she has two dogs and three cats. She enjoys going out to eat, hanging out with friends and family, and shopping. She was born in California but has lived in North Carolina for 44 years.
Kellie is one of our Dental Assistants. She received her education at Lake Norman Dental Assisting School and is trained in CRP, OSHA, and Dental Office Emergencies. She is also affiliated with the American Dental Association.
