My entry into the orthodontic world began when I answered an ad in the PennySaver for an orthodontic assistant. I was hoping to find a second job to put myself through college. Instead, I found a vocation and a lifelong passion!
My own smile was an embarrassment to me. My parents took great care of my teeth, since my mothers problems with her teeth led her to prioritize our dental care. But orthodontia was beyond our familys means. I couldnt believe my good fortune to have the opportunity to have my teeth straightened as a benefit of my new job!
My orthodontic care transformed my smile and my life: It changed the way I saw myself and the way the world saw me. Im not sure I fully appreciated how much not liking my smile affected my self-confidence, but the gift of a new smile changed the trajectory of my life.
Orthodontics and dentistry are constantly changing. What I learned in dental school and during my three-year residency were great foundations, but new techniques and technologies are being introduced at a dizzying pace. Learning about these developments not only fulfills my desire to stay current, but helps me to meet my duty to provide patients with the best in specialty orthodontic care.
I am an active member of the Spear Study Club, which is interdisciplinary, as well as the Volusia Dental Academy, a local study club. I also take many orthodontic continuing education courses that focus on interdisciplinary treatment, Invisalign, new technologies, occlusion, and TMJ-TMD.
I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the oldest girl from a family of seven. I transplanted to Florida to study marine biology so I could take over for Jacques Cousteau, but orthodontics caught my eye instead. I married my UF dental school soul mate and am the proud mother to three amazing women.
I am a borderline crazy cat lady (one more and it's official), recreational chef with mad pesto-making skills, and an avid fisherwoman specializing in trolling and building on my fly-fishing technique.
As an orthodontist, I know that a great smile is the universal sign of happiness. I am so glad to be able to provide this to my patients. I love catering to the aesthetic and functional needs of children, teenagers, and adults, and enjoy participating in multi-disciplinary treatment of complex cases.
Orthodontics is a fun and fulfilling profession. Each person is different, exciting, and sometimes a puzzle I get to figure out. I get to plan and design life-changing smiles, using my detail-oriented personality to make sure everything is perfect! The day we get to uncover a patients smile, and they see the results of their hard work, is exciting and extremely rewarding.
Growing up, I had an amazing dentist. The care and respect he showed each patient made a lasting impression and led me to want to help people in the same way. However, it wasnt until dental school that I realized I wanted to practice orthodontics.
My life is enriched, personally and professionally, through the patients I meet. I love becoming part of so many wonderful peoples lives, and learning about them and their families. I am honored by the trust a patient places in me, as people seek to improve their oral health and smile.
I am active in multiple orthodontic study groups composed of orthodontists across the country. These groups allow me to gain and share clinical and business information with other professionals. They also keep me up to date on the newest and best technology and techniques to help patients, which ensures the most efficient treatment and incredible results.
I am a native Floridian, born and raised in Titusville, FL. My adventure seeking husband Trey is my lifetime love. My daughter Nora was born October 2018 and I don't know how we lived life without her.
My loves are listening to and singing along with music, and I love doing Yoga! If this whole orthodontics thing doesn't work out, you can probably find me teaching at the local Yoga studio. My secret super power is that I am an expert at choosing good fruit!

Dr. Liz and gang are truly the best. From day one to my final visit, every appointment was better than the previous. You become family with them all, it's a very cool experience. Can't say enough about Dr. Liz!! She treated me with braces as a young teenager and 22 years later still is an amazing woman. As someone who's never particularly enjoyed "dental" work myself (highly anxious), she has always made me feel comfortable. Not to mention the work she's done has lasted so many years... and she still remembers specific visits we had back then. Forever grateful And I'll never go anywhere else!! Thank you so much.

I love it here! The Dr Morejon is my Dr and she and her staff are fantastic! It's a very nice place but most of all I have straight perfect teeth!! If you want the best this is the place!

I took my son to his consultation today and was greeted by Kathy she was so sweet and friendly. We than meet with the person that took the X-rays and she was marvelous great personality. The doctor came in to go over the X-rays and she was phenomenal! My experience was great and I would recommend them highly!

They always provide amazing and speedy retainers. I have a fake tooth in my retainers, as I'm missing one, and Morgan made the most amazing retainer I've ever had. It's entirely unnoticeable and the fake tooth blends in PERFECTLY. I will ALWAYS recommend them. Such a sweet atmosphere as well.

I have had the most pleasant experience at Morejon+Andrews. The staff and Dr. Liz are phenomenal!! They are so professional, kind and personable. For each appointment, they are on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. I can recall being nervous on two of my visits because I didn't know what to expect. They took the time to thoroughly describe each step of the process, right down to the approximate time it would take. The extra care helped me to relax and feel more comfortable. I had Invisalign for two years and three days. The proposed timeline was originally one year. However, when my teeth needed more movement, Dr. Liz ordered additional aligners to continue my treatment. The price they quoted me was for the full procedure even though it took longer than expected. Another added bonus are the delicious and refreshing popsicles at each visit! ;-) Strawberry lemonade is my favorite! I highly recommend Morejon+Andrews as your orthodontist at any age. -Signed an adult patient.

I absolutely love Dr. Liz, Dr. Amy and their staff!!! I've had such an amazing experience with the process of getting my braces and the whole treatment plan! My case wasn't an ordinary case so it required a lot of planing with other doctors. Dr. Liz went above and beyond with that!!! Dr. Liz and her staff communicated and scheduled everything so well with all the other doctors to make things easier for me. When Dr. Liz wasn't available Dr. Amy took such great care of me! I am so great full to everyone at the office for all their patience and kindness during my treatment. Now my kids will be joining this great experience with Dr. Liz and her staff this year!

I am more than impressed by the care, service and professionalism of all the staff. Dr. Morjon is some kind of orthodontic wizard. I wish every medical and dental office was like this. Edit: while I am still happy with the quality of the orthodontic work I am disappointed with the scheduling flexibility. Today I would not let my 17 year old drive 20 miles in a severe thunderstorm, as a result she would be 30 minutes late for her appointment. When I called expecting understanding and flexibility I got just the opposite. I really don't understand this attitude. I feel like anyone with teenage children would understand my concerns.

Great experience! Office is beautiful. Doctors are amazing and the staff is very nice and friendly! We left with all of our questions answered. Looking forward to my daughter starting treatment. Allie the treatment coordinator was personal and professional.
