Established in 1972, Family Health Network (FHN) is a Federally Funded Community Health Center(FQHC), serving Cortland and contiguous counties. FHN is the only source of care in three of the five communities served, and the only source of sliding adjustments for low-income individuals and families in the Cortland County region. In addition, we are also a FTCA Deemed Facility. Our programs include:
Our Financial Policy: We accept private insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare. We also offer a sliding fee for those who qualify. We offer assisted enrollment in Child Health Plus, and Medicaid for Adults. See Payment Information.
Our mission: Family Health Network promotes and improves the wellness of the Central New York community through quality, affordable healthcare at multiple, convenient, state of the art facilities while supporting employees, and maintaining long term viability.
FTCA: This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Dentist refuses to listen to patients and even after being denied by insurance, still refuses to do what is needed to create a healthy mouth. Would rather let rotten teeth stay in the mouth instead of pulling it even when it is unsavable. Would rather let patients suffer.

My husband has high anxiety for dentist work. But they did the right paperwork and we are just waiting for his teeth to be pulled.

I've had HORRIBLE experiences with dentists until I came to FHN dental here in Moravia. Dr Dickens is AMAZING. I told her I had super anxiety (I literally would have panic attacks about even the smallest appointments.) She handled my anxiety the best I have ever had a dentist do. I've seen about 10 dentists in my life and she was the only one that checked every few mins to make sure I was comfortable and she made sure I didn't feel anything. For the first time in my life I'm excited for my next visit so I can finally get my teeth fixed.Thank you Dr Dickens and staff!
