A native of Pennsylvania and a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Sean Moriarty is proud to conduct business and raise his family in Lancaster County. He owns and operates two thriving dental practices; Mor Smiles in Lititz, PA and Ephrata Family Dentistry in Ephrata, PA. He takes great pride in offering his patients the highest level of clinical care in a calm, relaxed environment. He is also grateful to have two amazing teams of assistants, hygienists and support staff that enable every patient to have a world-class experience.

After graduating from Penn State, Dr. Moriarty attended the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University. Before graduating with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine, he was a member of the Oral Surgery Honor Society and served as President of the Endodontic Honor Society. He also conducted extensive research in the graduate endodontic clinic. Most importantly, he was inspired to maintain a life-long commitment to learning to ensure he is well-versed and trained on the latest dental research and techniques.

Since becoming a full-time dentist in 2006, Dr. Moriarty has completed in excess of 100 hours of continuing education on an annual basis. Most of this focus has been on advanced procedures such as the placement of dental implants and IV sedation, which allows him to provide a more comprehensive range of treatment options to his patients. He is proud to participate in two of the most prestigious professional development programs in dentistry the Kois Center in Seattle, WA and the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. Dr. Moriarty was hand-picked to join an exclusive study club through Spear Education with Imtiaz Manji, former CEO of Spear Education. He currently serves as the co-leader of the local Spear Study Club and is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Moriarty works hard to raise public awareness of the benefits of great dental hygiene and is very proud to support his local and global communities. Making a difference in the lives and smiles of others is what drives Dr. Moriarty on a daily basis. He is honored to serve with the Open Wide Foundation, an organization that supports communities in Guatemala that typically do not have access to dental care, communities that have never seen or been treated by a dentist. The Open Wide Foundation was founded in 2011 and its mission is to significantly impact better oral health to communities in need.

Dr. Moriarty also enjoys giving back to his local community each year by providing dental care for individuals who reside at the Water Street Mission and by providing Free Dentistry Days at Mor Smiles. The Free Dentistry Days provide dental care to 75 patients throughout the course of three days. This community outreach effort is supported and staffed by the entire team at Mor Smiles and the Sedation Consulting Group. All dentists who volunteer their time and talents for the Free Dentistry Days complete dental procedures by utilizing IV sedation to ensure a positive, peaceful experience.

Away from the office, Dr. Moriarty and his wife, Ashley are devoted to raising their family; Mia, Charlotte and Conor and their two loyal dogs. In addition, he enjoys golf, tennis, traveling and flying airplanes.

Dr. David is a Southern California native, who earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology from the University of California Los Angeles UCLA, his Masters in Medical Sciences from Drexel University School of Medicine and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. David is delighted to join the team at Mor Smiles and hopes to contribute to the community much like the one that shaped him. Inspired by the understanding that the health of our youth leads to the health of the community, David has dedicated himself to events providing care to pediatric patients, including Giving Kids a Smile and Mission of Mercy. With a high priority on continuing education, Dr. David is currently working towards Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is committed to helping his patients achieve optimal health through a comprehensive approach to care and is motivated by a personal mission to effect positive change. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association.

Away from the office, he enjoys cooking, fishing, attending athletic events and spending time with his family. He is married to his long-time sweetheart and they are the proud parents of a daughter and a son.

If you hear a gentle humming down the hall, that would be Dr. Chen. Dr. Chen is energetic and enjoys working with patients of all ages. I truly can't say enough good things about Mor Smiles. I have been a patient here for the better part of a decade, and I have never had anything but a great experience. With all of the issues I've had with my teeth since I was a kid I am in the office a lot. I've seen so many assistants, hygienists, and other staff; every single one has been kind, friendly, professional, and most of the time they even laugh at my jokes. Dr. Moriarty has been my dentist for all but 2 of my appointments, and he's one of my favorite healthcare providers ever. He always makes sure I'm comfortable and cannot feel any pain. I've never felt like he was in a rush; he takes whatever time required to answer all of my questions and make sure I understand everything that's going on. I've also seen him interact with so many of his employees and it truly seems like people love working for him. I have a number of mental health issues that I have to juggle which means sometimes I can be difficult to schedule with and don't always take the best care of my teeth. The folks at this office have always done everything they can to be not only accommodating, but also extremely compassionate. They have even taken extra steps to help me remember to schedule. I have never been shamed or shown anything but compassion when I'm asked about my oral care routine. And truly, you don't get that everywhere you go. They see their patients as whole people, which I truly appreciate. Highly recommend.

honestly from my first experience was not bad. They were nice, and at least seemed helpful. But since we have gone back with some questions, and some help with the work that they have done, and they have been simply unwilling to do anything. I do not recommend, find somewhere else.

I had been a patient since 2018 and even payed out of pocket and bought an additional dental plan since my main dental through my health insurance Mor Smiles doesn't accept. I gave 1 star since that's the lowest rating I can give or I'd rare 0 and I'll explain. In April I had my very last tooth filled. Was told the pulp was visible and if it started to give me issues I'd need a root canal. Paid the $100.00 for the filling. I had a crown put on the tooth in front of the filling in April as well and that cost was over $700.00 out of pocket with my insurance. Thursday before the 4th of July the tooth I had filled started hurting. I couldn't take the pain any longer went to the hospital July 7th. The tooth ache turned into a horrible infection. I was in the hospital for 6.5 days. I ended up having to have surgery to remove the infected tooth that was filled and the tooth I had the crown put on because the tooth was loose with the crown and the infection removed. The infection went into my jaw and into my throat which could have killed me. The surgeon who done the surgery told me the tooth that was filled I didn't need! So instead of filling the tooth the dentist should have removed the tooth. I'd avoided being in the hospital 6.5 days, losing the tooth I just had a crown put on, and avoided the infection. Seeing the pulp of the tooth the dentist should have removed the tooth instead of filling it in because I seriously could have died from the infection. To me it's all about how much money they can make because if I had the root canal they know they would get more money from me because I'd need a.crown. Its taken me since July to figure out if I wanted to write a review and I finally decided to. I'd not trust anyone at this office for any dental work and the dental work I had done was by the owner. When I 1st started going to this dentist I had seen red flags but totally ignored them. Because I ignored them I've had issues with my teeth unfortunately. The red flags should have made me switch dentist but it took me ending up in the hospital to realize the red flags. Since the surgery the office knows I had it done but has yet to reach out to me. If you value your teeth and health I'd not recommend to go to this dental practice.

After a move that led me to get out of the routine of regular dental cleanings, I finally made an appointment to get back on track with regular dental care at Mor Smiles. With over 5 years since my last cleaning, I was anxious about my visit, but everyone from the friendly & welcoming ladies at the front desk, to the thorough cleaning by hygienist Amy and check up by Dr. Chen went out of their way to put me at ease. Thank you to Mor Smiles for helping me get back on track with my regular dental care and look forward to seeing everyone again in 6 months!

My review is about Ashley at Mor esthetics. She was offering a free consultation and I made an appointment. Wanted to see what was available for some areas on my face that were bothering me and how affordable solutions could be for someone on a fixed income. Ashley was so friendly; actually, everyone in the office were so friendly and helpful. Ashley explained what was available and how payments could be made. I thought it was very reasonable and we did the first treatment today to smooth out some lines and wrinkles. I have more I would like treat but it doesn't need to be done all at the same time. I felt very much at ease and will be back to continue treatment.
