Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is an advanced, proven technology that provides more precise three-dimensional (3D) imaging for more accurate diagnosis and treatment of oral health conditions. 3D dental X-rays can uncover issues that may not be detectable with 2D X-rays. By making images easier to see, its helpful in gaining a better understanding of oral health conditions and suggested treatment.

Having come here multiple times, they are always slow to attend to you once you arrive even with an appointment. Expect to sit in the lobby and wait 30-60 minutes after checking in.

BEWARE: I unsuspectingly went to this dentist office several times when I lived in the area years ago. Almost every appointment I had, there was a new dentist. Should've left when I saw that there was a constant rotation in staff. But what made me leave for good was when I was quoted $2,000 worth of work!! I went to get a second opinion and that dentist didn't see what the Moorpark Dental was talking about. Over the course of the years, I've seen 3 more dentists and NONE of them have suggested the $2,000 worth of work Moorpark Dental wanted to give me. In hind sight, it has made me question the validity of the root canals (plural, more than one) Moorpark Dental had me do. The reason I am leaving a review so many years later is because I ended up having to extract one of the teeth Moorpark Dental recommended I have a root canal done. And I'm left wondering if it was a truly necessary root canal after the $2,000 quote that no other dentist has recommended.

Highly highly recommend, you get a second opinion--consultation from another dentist (trusted) if they recommend periodontal surgery, or other heavy work $$$. This is a corporate facility.

I've been going to this dentist office for years now and the front staff are always nice and helpful. I've been really happy with the payment plans I was able to easily set up for more costly procedures. The dentists are knowledgeable and friendly and the hygienist Miss Faal makes the process of getting your teeth cleaned pleasant and comfortable. I no longer dread the process. I definitely recommend this dental group.

Front desk is not the best. Doctor was late and nobody call to let us know. Other offices communicate with the schedule patients if the doctor is running late. This one doesn't. It's our 3rd visit and I really feel like changing. Also the doctor is only here once a week, and for those with kids in school it becomes very inconvenient.

I've been nervous to visit a dental office since COVID started. I was due for my yearly cleaning this past March, but instead opted to pass. The year is about to end and I can feel all the gunk, plaque and late night snack snacking remnants hanging around. Sahar, the registered dental hygienist recommended her place of work and told me that she herself would have family come here. Knowing that she takes every precaution, is very clean and professional I felt safe coming here. Sahar made time fly by as she was cleaning my teeth she educated me about my dental health and how to prevent and cavities and maintain proper hygiene. My sister and I both had our teeth cleaned by Sahar. I would never tell my own sister to come if I felt this place wasn't practicing safe measures. I trust Sahar and know that her experience, professionalism and love for what she does makes Moorpark Dental the place for my family and I.

I had a great visit with both dentist and Hygienist. The staff as well was very nice and efficient. Sahar Fanal is the Hygienist. She is honest and does great work. My cleaning was very thorough and she made sure to communicate with me every step. I would strongly recommend Moorpark Dental Group for your next visit.

Friendly and helpful staff. Dental hygienists Marie (on sick leave) and now Sahar, have both been wonderful. I've had two visits with Sahar this year and she always has some useful tips for me to improve my dental hygiene, such as letting the electric toothbrush do all the work and to brush at a 45 degree angle.
