I was lucky to always know that I wanted a career in dentistry. What excites me about my work the constant improvement in technology that lets us help our patients get the care they deserve in the best way. I am passionate about getting patients on board with their dental health and working with them to feel good about and value their oral health. You dont take care of anything you dont value, so creating a caring atmosphere of comfort is essential.
I find it an honor that people trust me to take care of their oral health. I take that trust very seriously and love giving them the smiles they deserve. Seeing someone love their smile is one of the best things I do every day. Working with all different kinds of patients has truly given me a perspective on life I would not have gotten elsewhere. I know I am a better person because of all the patients Ive seen over the past 23 years.
You only get one chance to make a first impression. Having a beautiful smile makes that easier by giving you self-confidence to make that first impression memorable. I love that I have been able to help so many people achieve or maintain their smile. The dental profession works so hard to educate not only the providers of care but also the public as to benefits of care. I work alongside some amazing people who team with our office to help us deliver the best care possible. I am so thankful for all my colleagues as well as the vast array of patients that I am privileged to work with. The many unique people that have walked through our door and given me the privilege to work with them have taught me so many lessons in life. I have come away with so much more than I have given.
Since graduating from the University of Minnesota with my dental degree, I have participated in the 21 Century Study Club and the Metro Womens Study Club in order to continue my education. These organizations provide me with access to top speakers who are always teaching new techniques and clinical information to better serve our patients needs. In addition, I am an active member of the American Dental Association, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the World Clinical Laser Institute.
I grew up in a small town in southeastern Wisconsin called Hartford. Yes, that is in the heart of cheese country, making me a lifelong Packer fan. My family and I moved from North East Minneapolis to Lino Lakes almost 13 years ago. Having grown up in a small town I missed seeing the stars at night. I love to look out and see the sky and in the summer the lightning bugs.
My family consists of my husband, Henry, two sons, Evan and Connor, and the newest addition, Cinco, Havanese puppy some of you may have seen at the office. I have recently renewed my interest in knitting, so Wednesday nights you will find me knitting with the girls. I also enjoy walking on the trails near our home, cooking, and planning family events.
I think everyone needs to volunteer at some level. This year, both my husband and I participated in the Minnesota Mission of Mercy, providing close to one million dollars worth of free dental care. In the past, I have traveled to Jamaica with 10,000 smiles, treating people in the hills with no access to care. I also see patients in my office from Donated Dental Services. Giving back to the community is important, and I hope that my efforts improve lives of those I serve as much as possible.

I think of each person that enters my room as a guest. A caring attitude and a focus on your comfort is an important priority for me. As a dental hygienist with 30 years of experience I enjoy the wide range of patients we see and especially like working with anxious patients, seniors, and helping patients achieve a healthier mouth. My style of patient care is to provide the best options and choices that allow patients to make well informed decisions about their oral health. Im blessed to be part of Dr. Murrays talented team and appreciate her commitment to taking great care of our patients.Spare time: My husband David and I love traveling to Maui, so if you want to visit Hawaii please ask and Id love to tell you more. Due to the fabulous Pacific Rim cuisine weve experienced on Maui, weve become foodies and like eating out with friends and family.Minnesota summers find us biking and walking the many paths near our home.
I am Dr. Murrays licensed dental assistant as well as the newest member of the team at Moore Lake Dental. What I enjoy most about dentistry is helping kids (big and small) get comfortable in the dental chair.
I am the friendly face youll see behind the front desk welcoming you to our practice. Answering the phone, assisting with insurance questions and reserving you a time in our schedule are a few of the many hats I wear. Having worked in the dental field for over 20 years I can respond to your insurance questions as well as helping you maximize your dental benefits. In my spare time my husband and I enjoy spending time with our adult children, family and friends. Our newest family member is Rocky the amazing poodle.

Jane is a thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable hygienist, willing to take the time to provide a quality and comfortable cleaning. I'd recommend Moore Lake Dental just for Jane, but Dr. Murray is good, too. They are also quite conscientious about Covid guidelines.

Very warm and welcoming staff who are knowledgeable in their areas of expertise. The team provides great continuation of care between each of my visits, making me feel well-supported as a patient. Scheduling (and re-scheduling) appointments is a breeze. Would highly recommend!

Prior to finding Moore Lake Dental, I hated going to the dentist. I was always embarrassed, it was awkward, and usually resulted in more than a few tears. From the first time I stepped in their office, it was different. I was given a thorough first appointment/check-up that helped create a plan to fix everything that needed to be fixed; I've been sticking to that plan for over 1 year now & am happy to say I'm almost finished! Every time I go in the staff from Theresa to the technicians, Dr. Murray & Jane their hygienist has been nothing but warm, educational & wonderful. I'm so lucky to have found them and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Very warm and calm environment. You are greeted right away when you walk in. Receptionist explains process and reviews your information to make sure everything is up to date. Staff are not judgement and very understanding. Staff make plan to keep teeth in best of health moving forward and encourage you to keep taking care of them. Would highly recommend using Moore lake dental.

This place is a scam and all about money! Even with full coverage insurance they still charge hundreds of dollars. I was told to bring my daughter's insurance card and $416.

I hate dentists from childhood experiences. But these gals in this office deserve every bit of 5 stars. Super informative, very gentle, and quick to boot. 10/10 would return.
