Dr. Moore was born in Mississippi. After high school, and college at Delta State University, he attended dental school at the University of Mississippi. He was awarded the Johnson scholarship in college, which is given to the future dental student with the highest overall GPA. He was also selected in college to go to Wake Forest University, where he did pharmacology research. He met his wife, Katie, as they were both majoring in Biochemistry. They married while he was in dental school and she in medical school. When she finished medical school, they fell in love with Birmingham and moved here in 2006.
They have three children. Collins is 3, and Elizabeth Parker is 2, and Harrison is a little over 4 months old. They are members of Briarwood Presbyterian. They both feel truly blessed to be in the health profession where they can help people with their health issues. Dr. Moores favorite part of dentistry is getting to know his patients and providing the most comfortable dental care possible. He realizes how God has blessed him with wonderful patients that put their trust in him and becoming friends along the way makes it that more enjoyable.
Brittany, our other Pelham Dental hygienist, graduated from Alabama Dental Hygiene program over 11 years ago. She married her husband 11 years ago, and they have two beautiful daughters. Her oldest daughter is 7 and her youngest is 3. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, decorating, and spending time with her family.
Brittany, a mother of a beautiful 4 year old daughter, graduated from Pelham High School in 2004. She started working at our practice over 4 years ago as a dental assistant and now is also our front desk receptionist. In her spare time, she loves to Pinterest, read, and spend time with her family.
Heather, our dental assistant, grew up in Pelham, and she enjoys treating family and friends at work everyday. She graduated from Pelham High School in 2004. She has been with our office coming up on five years. She married her amazing husband in February 2010, and they enjoy exercising, watching movies, and playing with their dog, Ava.
Celia, one of our Pelham Dental hygienists, graduated from UAB with a Bachelor in Science degree in 1986. She has been providing dentistry for over 20 years and worked with a gum specialist before she came here. She married her husband, David, in May 2010 and has a handsome 15 year old son that attends Thompson High School. In her spare time she likes to watch movies, read, and spend time with her family.
Great girls! I work nearby and drop in every month or two just to visit and talk for a while. Dr. Moore is really laid back and honest as well. See you at my cleaning next month, if not sooner! -anonymous

I've been a patient of Dr. Moore for years and highly recommend him & his staff. They have handled everything for me from routine cleanings, fillings, crowns and bridges. They always do what they can to make any procedure as comfortable as possible.

I've been a patient of Dr. Moores for 9 years and I absolutely love coming to his office. I love the atmosphere of his office, his staff is so helpful and friendly, I come early and they get me back early, no waiting times. And if I have to have a filling by Dr Moore, it is so painless, I don't even know I'm getting a shot. I would definitely recommend this office to EVERYONE. You will love it here!

Very Unprofessional. They do not keep up with appointment times. Will tell you a specific time and put you down for another just so they will get a $35 late appointment fee. Very rude staff and non informative. I have been here 3 times and every time was an issue. The second time, I was on time for my appointment and wasn't seen until 45 minutes later, just for them to do absolutely nothing, in which they had the appointment for. I wouldn't recommend Moore Family Dentisty to anyone.
