Born and raised on James Island, Dr. Moore graduated from Bishop England High School and The Citadel. Dr. Moore received his dental degree from The Medical University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, he joined his father, Dr. William Moore, in his practice of dentistry on James Island. Since 1987, Dr. Moore has been taking care of the dental needs of the James Island community.
To maintain current in the fast developing dental field, Dr. Moore has continued his passion for learning by attending many dental seminars throughout the United States. They include the L.D. Pankey Institute for Dental Learning in Miami, Florida; The Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida and Chesapeake, Virginia; The Zimmer Implant Institute in San Diego, California; and The Piper Education and Research Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Dr. Moore is a member of the South Carolina Dental Association and The American Dental Association.
Dr. Mason Wade grew up on James Island and graduated from Porter Gaud High School. He received a Bachelors of Science degree from Furman University and then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Wade is committed to continuing his education and staying up to date on the latest training. He has recently attended lectures and courses through the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, FL and Chesapeake, VA. He also participates in collaborative learning with other local dentists and specialists through the local Panky Institute Study Club. Dr. Wade is a member of the the America Dental Associate and the South Carolina Dental Association.
Dr. Wade is thrilled to join the practice with Dr. Moore and continue to provide comprehensive care to existing and new patients. Dr. Wade lives close to where he grew up on James Island with his wife, Katie, and son, Leland. As a family, they share their love of the low-country, spending their time with family and friends, and are never far from the water.

Decent enough dental exam and cleaning, but definitely out to make a quick buck. Misleading about insurance accepted. I was told outright they would "take" my insurer, only to find out after service was provided that this only meant billing them. The receptionist seemed well aware nothing would be covered, this would have been helpful information before I blew hundreds of dollars unnecessarily. Seem less concerned with honest service then making a quick buck.

Dr. Moore has been our family dentist for many years. He and his wonderful colleagues currently take care of 3 generations of our family and have always provided excellent dentistry with a smile! Although we had to change medical insurance to a plan that does not cover this practice, and we therefore have to pay his very reasonable feed out of pocket, we keep coming to Dr. Moore because we trust his judgement and ability and integrity... despite the fact that other dentists might be covered under our new insurance. Yes, he and his group are that good!

Been going here for years! Dr Moore is an excellent local dentist. I have never had a wait time here. Ever. They always get you in when you are scheduled. Chairs are super comfortable. Staff is super friendly. Highly recommended.
