Dr. Mooney had a full schedule and when I called he fit me in no problem because he could hear the pain in my voice. He is like No other dentist! He is The absolute best! The only dentist I don't mind going to! Thank you so much Dr. Mooney for being the best dentist around!

Extremely nice and personable Dentist. Great music playing. He makes sure your comfortable with everything going on and that your not in pain. I hadn't seen a dentist in 10 years and was so nervous but Dr.Mooney imidiatley put me at ease.

Dr.Mooney is amazing!! So kind and sweet. Very understanding, the best bedside manner ever! Truly an amazing man. If you're scared of the dentist, go see him & he'll quickly change that. So happy to have found him!!!

Joseph Mooney is exceptional. Honestly. As someone who fears the dentist, let me just say how much I appreciate how gentle, compassionate and thorough he is. His entire practice is spotless and clean. From the minute I walked into my appointment, I was greeted with a wonderfully positive energy from Mooney. I've also had a tooth extraction, YIKES. I was terrified (thank you YouTube vids/past dental experiences). This man changed all of that. He was incredibly gentle and really kept my spirits upbeat. He has a great sense of humor! I can actually say, while I came in riddled with nerves to have a tooth pulled, Dr, Mooney kept me laughing the entire way through. It was a walk in the park. He even called me, hours after my extraction to check in, and ask if I had any other questions. Most dentist just send you home. I really do value how much Dr. Mooney prioritizes his patients, makes them feel comfortable and keeps you cracking up! This man is the best! I've recommended him to everyone since. Book an appointment, this is something you can actually look forward to.

Dr Mooney is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of working with! This man is everything you want from a dentist! Reasonable prices and he works with your insurance. I can't say enough good things about Dr Joseph Mooney!

I have been seeing Dr. Mooney for at least 7 years, and I Highly recommend him if you are in need of anything dental. The laid back atmosphere of his office & Mr. Mooney's demeanor will put you at ease. In this day and age, it is hard to find medical professionals who aren't just looking to make a quick buck. When I was having extreme pain from an impacted wisdom tooth and my insurance company was giving me a hard time, Dr. Mooney went above and beyond to make sure my tooth was taken care of and I was no longer in pain as quickly as possible. A genuine human being who very obviously cares for the health and well being of his patients. At one point I called his office, and he returned my call within minutes even though it was his day off. His secretary is also a sweetheart. Do yourself a favor and go see Dr. Mooney for your next check up, cleaning or tooth ache.

My husband has, until recently, avoided proper dental care. After seeing Dr. Mooney, he is more willing to visit the dentist's office without fear. We recently brought our daughter to him. She needed her wisdom teeth extracted, and we were not crazy about having her put under general anesthesia by an oral surgeon. Dr. Mooney did very clean work and extracted all 4 teeth with local anesthesia. She recovered well, and Dr. Mooney texted us twice over the weekend to check in and make sure she was doing well after the procedure. He's a good guy and makes you feel at ease with a great sense of humor.

I've been a patient of Dr Mooney's for many years, and actually look forward to my appointments! No matter what my mood, he and assistant, Karen, have turned crummy days sunny and, what should be viewed as a "painful" procedure painless by talking abou well, everything to take your mind off your teeth. Anyone can learn a trade, computer, etc., but you can't teach empathy or an exemplary chair/bedside manner. You can attend as many classes and read as many books in a library but it can't be taught. Dr. Mooney and Karen have been blessed with a quiet understanding and recognize their patient's fears and needs. By first discussing the situation, they are able to quickly assess a client's level of anxiety and adjust the tone of the visit. I recently started having sensitivity around several teeth and waited until I returned to CT to see Dr. Mooney. As a matter of fact, I've yet to secure a new dentist back home and plan on scheduling my visits back to Danbury around my cleanings. That says volumes about my commitment to Dr. Mooney and Karen. I encourage anyone, especially those who may be hesitant on seeing a dentist to consider meeting Dr. Mooney. And he plays some decent office music! Thank you Dr Mooney and Karen! Words cannot describe how happy I am with the gum cutting procedure done by Dr. Mooney. After having braces for many years, but gums became very swollen and infected due to bacteria being caught between each bracket. After 3 years of my gums building up, getting puffy, and covering a majority of my teeth, I finally got my braces off. Normally, people feel very confident with their new smile, but I was more self-conscious than anything else. I always envisioned I would have big, beautiful teeth, but instead I had small teeth due to my gums over growing for years. For the next few months, I taught myself how to smile smaller to hide my gums. Then, I brought this issue up in my latest dentist check-up and he told be about a gum cutting procedure that would cut back on the extra gum and shapen my teeth for a bigger smile. I was immediately convinced and couldn't be happier with the results. During the procedure, Dr. Mooney was very careful and caring to make sure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort. I am now more confident with my smile then I have ever been in my entire life. I highly recommend Dr. Mooney for anyone who is in need of a simple dentist cleaning or a procedure!!

The dentist is an extremely skilled fellow that can do almost everything better than any dentist I have been to plus can do certain things that only a few very skilled oral surgeons in NY might- I say might - be able to do and they charge 5x more. Very reasonably priced for some reason - he's one of the very few not out to skin you alive with fees. Many different members of my family have had him do different kinds of work - from crowns to cleanings to some really complicated work - all very successfully. Highest recommendation.

Dr. Mooney is the best dentist around. He will always make himself available any time of day. His work is impeccable and virtually pain free. I highly recommend him.
