Dr. Julie Newcomb, DDS Dr. Newcomb says she is thrilled to be working at Moon Creek Dental with Dr. Moon. She is a general dentist and graduated from Creighton University Dental School in 1998, just one year ahead of Dr. Moon. Her full educational background includes Campus Elementary School, East Junior High School, Boise High School, and the College of Idaho (B.S. in Zoology). You might notice some similarities between her and Dr. Moon 's educational background, as they are identical, all the way back to kindergarten. Amazingly, he is still willing to put up with her after all those years in school together! She is so happy that he is, because she is proud to be a part of the team at Moon Creek. We are a group of professionals dedicated to providing a high quality, enjoyable dental health care experience. Dr. Newcomb is a Boise native, though she had the good fortune to be born on an Air Force base in New Mexico. She has been married for 22 years to Bruce, who has an Endodontics practice in Boise. She has three children: her son Connor is 16, her daughter Rachel is 13, and her daughter Maggie is 10. Some of our patients have asked why she has abandoned most of her general dental duties in favor of check-ups and dental hygiene two days a week. She says, 'they are the reason!' When she is not at the office she is permanently in her car driving someone somewhere, or sitting in the passenger seat with her foot pushed through the carpet as her son drives them somewhere.
