Dr. Newcomb says she is thrilled to be working at Moon Creek Dental with Dr. Moon. She is a general dentist and graduated from Creighton University Dental School in 1998, just one year ahead of Dr. Moon. Her full educational background includes Campus Elementary School, East Junior High School, Boise High School, and the College of Idaho (B.S. in Zoology). You might notice some similarities between her and Dr. Moon's educational background, as they are identical, all the way back to kindergarten. Amazingly, he is still willing to put up with her after all those years in school together! She is so happy that he is, because she is proud to be a part of the team at Moon Creek. We are a group of professionals dedicated to providing a high quality, enjoyable dental health care experience.
Dr. Newcomb is a Boise native, though she had the good fortune to be born on an Air Force base in New Mexico. She has been married for 22 years to Bruce, who has an Endodontics practice in Boise. She has three children: her son Connor is 16, her daughter Rachel is 13, and her daughter Maggie is 10. Some of our patients have asked why she has abandoned most of her general dental duties in favor of check-ups and dental hygiene two days a week. She says, 'they are the reason!' When she is not at the office she is permanently in her car driving someone somewhere, or sitting in the passenger seat with her foot pushed through the carpet as her son drives them somewhere. She truly love both of her jobs and wouldn 't change a thing!

Dr Taylor is an incredible kind and compassionate Dr. His methods are absolutely painless. If you are afraid of going to the Dentist, you owe it to yourself to book an appointment and prepare to be pampered. The staff are warm and welcoming and professional all at the same time. I'm actually looking forward to my next visit!!

Great experience!! I really appreciated the time Dr. Taylor took to explain everything. His approach of really caring for the comfort and well being of his patients is above anything I have experienced before. The staff at the front desk are welcoming and sincere. The rest of his dental team also reflect his caring, knowledgeable professionalism. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor if you are looking for a dentist that you will actually look forward to seeing. Truly, the best dentist I have ever been to.

I have been seeing Dr. Moon for close to 20 years, and he is the only dentist my kids ever knew. We loved him and his old staff and traveled from across the valley to see him. However, the current change in staff has led to nothing but headaches, they are incompetent and rude. Issues with their inability to bill insurance even though I explained it numerous times and now they refuse to bill insurance and will only treat us for full payment up front, because I told them how incompetent they were. Not even a courtesy call to tell us this before our appointment. We won't be seeing the new doctor or dealing with the new staff. Sorry to see Dr. Moon retire and lose his great office staff.

Great office! It's refreshing to see how much the doctors and staff care about the patients. The hygienists are friendly and gentle. I saw Brooke and she was GREAT! And both Dr. Moon and Dr. Taylor are wonderful- they listen to your concerns and treat you like family! I highly recommend this office!

I have been seeing Dr. Moon for 22 years. I now drive 240 miles to see him since I left the area, he is this good. His Impeccable practice and competency is stellar. Thank you Dr. Moon for the great care and passion for your patients.

Dr. Moon and his staff have reaffirmed my confidence in dentistry. He has taken my bad experiences with a previous dentist and, with his caring and compassion helped me move forward with a plan of treatment. The front staff Jill and Shelly are phenomenal with their customer service and Bri is an amazing member of the staff that does amazing work! A company is only as good a their employees and I would most definitely recommend this amazing team to anyone that is in need of dental work!
