Dr. John Moody received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Since graduation he has worked along side many excellent restorative and specialty dentists. He also spent several years as a faculty member at a dental hygiene school. Dr. Moody is a member of the American Dental Association , North Carolina Dental Society , Charlotte Dental Society , Chicago Dental Society , Seattle Study Club, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry . Dr. Moody moved to Charlotte in 2007 with his high school sweetheart wife and their twins to take in the favorable climate and opportunity.
Hi, my name is Rebecka. I moved to the Charlotte area 5 years ago from northern Illinois. I graduated from Central Piedmont Community College in 2016 and have worked with Dr. Moody ever since! I am a new mom to an adorable baby boy and have 2, 60 pound, fur babies. When I am not cleaning teeth I enjoy traveling North Carolina, being with friends, scrapbooking, and going to local car shows with my husband. Dental hygiene and being a part of your oral health is a huge passion of mine and look forward to meeting you!

Dr. Moody and his support staff are highly professional as well as very friendly and accommodating. I have had nothing but positive experiences and would recommend Dr. Moody for your dental needs without reservation. I would especially like to compliment Danielle, who schedules all the appointments for her consideration and courtesies extended to me over the last several months in an effort to facilitate the completion of my dental treatments. Outstanding group of people.

It seems this place is about money. Made appointment 4 weeks ago. Spent 12 mins on phone with a cold rude man. Was told my insurance was accepted.. Day before appointment I get a call that they have dropped affliation with my insurance carrier. 4 weeks? And now you tell me. Unproffessional

Dr. Moody has done some amazing work on my teeth. He is super friendly and super informative. His staff all have great attitudes and are very knowledgeable. I very much enjoy my experience here. Great dentist to go to. I highly recommend!!

I just moved to the area so I am trying to find the right dentist office. I picked this one because I thought they were tech savvy but they are not. They use all of these online and text services but they clearly are not updated services or they just do not know how to use them. I booked online and through text and both times they could not fins my appointment. I took a day off for the second rescheduled appointment and of course they did not have it they are full. The receptionist was nice but that did not change the fact I took off work for this appointment. Now my day is wasted and I have to continue looking for a new permanent dentist office.

Dr. Moody is the best dentist I've found since moving to Charlotte 25 years ago. I've visited many and there was always something about the visit that made me want to go somewhere else for the next one.
