Doctor Moody Wasif's convictions and beliefs drive his philosophy of practice. He believes that people are a miracle created in the image of God. As a result, he tries to restore that image with exceptional dental skills and training, while utilizing the most advanced tools and sound scientific principles. He performs a very wide range of dental procedures, ranging from simple restorations to cosmetics and implant dentistry. Rarely procedures have to be referred out. You will have to experience this modern dentistry to believe it. His integrity compels him to only offer his best to his patients, and be honest with them about expectations from the proposed treatment.
Our office may very well be the best equipped office in Northwest Indiana with the most advanced technology to handle all phases of dental treatments. We have a Galileos Dental CT scanner and a Cerec Omni-Cam, both of which we use for the safest most predictable computer guided surgery for our implant patients. This technology enables us to provide above the standard dental care. We also offer sedation to our patients for their comfort. We also provide wisdom teeth extractions. Our office is equipped to provide full smile make overs and cosmetic procedures in one day because we have our own ceramic lab on-site. Our office is also very kid-friendly and we are able to treat children of all ages. We have affordable options for all patients including affordable implant supported dentures for those who are retired or financially limited.
Doctor Moody Wasif is very well trained in all scopes of implant dentistry, and has completed a fellowship from the California Implant Institute, along with a current membership and fellowship candidacy with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. For Doctor Moody Wasif's undergraduate degree he majored in Physiology and Neuroscience at the University of California at San Diego. Then, he studied dental medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. DoctorMoody Wasif recently received a Masters of Theological Studies, Mid-America Reformed Seminary, Dyer Indiana.
Doctor Moody Wasif is happily married with threekids, Lily and Elie and Levi. His wife Dina is also a dentist who is finishing up her dental studies, and might just end up being his boss at work someday.
Dr. Hany Reyad was born in Jordan and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences in 2014 with magna cum laude honors. Dr. Reyad then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree with summa cum laude honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in 2018. During his dental school academic career, Dr. Reyad received multiple awards including the 2017 Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Health Scholarship, the 2018 Dr. Robert Savage Memorial Award for exemplary patient care, the 2018 Chancellors Student Service Award, and has been recognized for his participation as a Peer Mentor for underclassmen. In 2018, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Sigma Chapter of the national Dental Honor Society. Also, Dr. Reyad was the founding president of the American Dental Education Association UIC chapter and served as president of the Christian Medical and Dental Association UIC chapter.
In his free time, Dr. Reyad loves to serve his local community. He has volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House to serve meals for children undergoing major procedures, has organized and collected Christmas gifts for children in third world countries for Samaritans Purses Operation Christmas Child, and has worked with Goldies Place to help provide free dental care for the homeless community. In addition, Dr. Reyad enjoys traveling, working out, playing the keyboard, and spending time with his family.

Have had root canals, fillings, and cleanings done here. Every member of the staff is so nice and welcoming. After today's visit I wanted to give a shout out to the dental assistant Fern, for making the anxiety of dental visits almost non existent. Thank you everyone at Moody Dental for making dentist appointments something to look forward to rather than something to dread!

Moody Dental has restored my faith in Dentists! Had a broken tooth and hadn't been to dentist in years. They were great with my fear of dentists, extracted the tooth talked me through the whole procedure and it was PAIN FREE. If you're on the fence you'll be pleasantly surprised with them.

I needed a root canal due to pain and they promptly scheduled and fixed it. I was also happy with the thorough cleaning I received. However, I am skeptical that I have 9 cavities that need to be filled, since I practice good hygiene. Then I took my 2 daughters for cleanings. I don't have insurance so I asked specially about price and was told $85 for cleanings and that it would be extra for x-rays. That sounded reasonable. I wasn't told that I had to pay an additional $90 per child for the dentist's evaluation. So basically I had to pay twice what I had anticipated. Then they told me both girls each needed 6-8 cavities filled between their baby teeth, for the price of about $4k total! I asked if this was really necessary, and they said absolutely. They brush and floss their teeth and have no visible cavities. They have no pain. Even the hygienist said their teeth look healthy before the dentist looked at the x-rays. I want to take care of my teeth and my kids, but taking care of your teeth should not cost so much money! I would just say, get a second opinion before getting lots of dental work done, especially if you are not in pain!

So let me start by saying it's been a bit since my last visit at a dentist. And being excited to have an opportunity to finally get myself and son back on track is an understatement. The call I made to get us scheduled was a breeze and met with pleasant help and the opportunity to have all our paperwork electronically sent and filled out long before our visit to save on ti:e for us in the receptions area. Which if anyone has little ones. A three old can loose interest or easily wonder at the drop of a hat. Our visit was met with greetings, friendly faces, and a cleanly office that would reflect their streamline procedures offered with plenty of staff to make sure patiences time is not wasted waiting around. I have to absolutely rave about my hygienist Melissa! Unbelievably friendly, well informed, bedside manner fantastic and even while charting threw my teeth very gentle. She will be a request of mine for my future visits for sure. I wish I would of caught the name of the hygienist that cleaned and checked over my sons teeth, he loved her and she was so good with him. As far as treatment and scheduling as I was leaving I got to give it up to Sophie for stepping in a finalizing my appointments with dates time a reminder card and paperwork before I left making sure I didn't get lost in the shuffle... I don't believe she was there "front end staff" being in scrubs but was a great help. I'm not sure if some of my questions and what I was expressing as far as concerns or importance to the women that was checking me out after my appointment was getting lost in translation. However I'd say that the communication there could of used a bit of work.... I'm not sure if that is due to the possibility of not fully being knowledgeable as to the extent of what is accessible to patience now with dental work... The main reason and only reason I would say 4 instead of 5 for my first visit as well is due to that communication right there at the end and also due to Dr. Moody himself.... I believe he may of been in for about 5 minutes if that.... Don't believe he even introduced himself as Dr. Moody... possibly a hi how is your day... did my exam spoke only to the hygienist that record the treatment he recommended and then said ok have a nice day and left..... As I started this review, it's been a while I knew that this visit would be following many more, some more extensive than others... even with my treatment that was recorded with deep cleaning many fillings and even possible implants.... did he ask is I had concerns, questions, or confusions to what he recommended. Even with the back and forth with the women up front about questions and how to go about the treatment and her going to find him to try and get me some of the answers that I was looking for.... I would have to say that the information I received back to me (this is the best I can describe it)... "wasn't relayed very smoothly..." Now despite the few moments of not so ideal, that doesn't mean that this office doesn't excel in some very crucial areas as far as what they offer for patients who need dental work whether it's a wider variety or even just the every day. And I already can tell that comfort and a pleasant environment in a normally not so pleasant environment is definitely something that is important to this office. Very much looking forward to our future appointments and getting back on track with my dental health.

So I've been coming to this practice for more than a year. My favor dentist, unfortunately, Dr. CL Knowles, passed away. I had to find another practice that I felt comfortable with and that showed compassion. I found it here. From the receptionist (customer service) to the hygienist, Shannon (I hope that I spelled her name correctly), fabulous .

If you're looking for a dentist that's good with 32yr old babies (hi, yes, it's me, I have a lot of anxiety around the dentist!), then Moody Dental is for you! I had to have a tooth pulled, and I was so anxious going in today. From the front desk staff to the techs to the dentists, everyone is so kind! I thought this would be terrible. I really did. I felt nauseated all day leading up to it. It was so quick and easy! Dr. Reyad talked to me the whole time about what he was doing, and even let me see my tooth when he was done. He really calmed my nerves, and I'd definitely recommend that office to anyone in need of dental care!
