Dr. Arden Sterling and Dr. Anthony Castellano bring decades of combined experience to their patients. Together, they apply their expertise and consult with one another for the unique benefit of the people they treat.
We see ourselves as supporting partners to you in your journey to oral and dental health. We will provide you an advice and options to help you make informed decisions. Then, we will work with you to deliver the treatment you require. Our team prides itself on supporting our patients with the most up-to-date education on dental wellness.
Keeping our patients and team safety is one of our top priorities. We rigorously follow sterilization and cross contamination standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
Dr. Sterling was raised on Long Island, New York and quickly knew he wanted to help people for a living. His mother Stelly, an accomplished artist, was a heavy influence in Dr. Sterling choosing dentistry a medical discipline combining art and science. Stellys art is proudly displayed today within the office and continues to be an inspiration.
Dr. Sterling was a nationally-ranked high school soccer player and was recruited to play for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After getting his undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in medical sciences, he was accepted to the Medical College of Virginia at VCU where he attained his Dental Degree. Dr Sterling is active in continuing education and stays current with evolving dental materials, appliances and procedures. When asked what he most values about his dental practice, Dr. Sterling says, Building trusting relationships with my patients and staff.
When not in the office, Dr. Sterling is an avid sportsman (go Tar Heels and Rams!). He enjoys hiking in the mountains, spending time at the beach and enjoying meals at his favorite RVA eateries. Dr. Sterling has a lovely wife, beautiful daughters and adorable grandchildren.
Dr Sterling is active in continuing education and stays current with evolving dental materials, appliances and procedures. When asked what he most values about his dental practice, Dr. Sterling says, Building trusting relationships with my patients and staff.
I love that I get to share in peoples lives, whether its whitening for a wedding or a full mouth rehab after an accident. To be of service, either as friend through the tough times or in lifes happiest moments, is what makes dentistry so special for me and Im grateful for every moment of connection.

What an amazing experience! I needed to have two extractions performed...on my first visit! And I cannot express how much I LOVE how patient-driven everyone is throughout this entire office. I cannot express to you how refreshing it is to have found such an amazing dentist. I appreciate everyone who took care of me today! Thank you all for being so incredibly awesome! After a tough experience with another dentist--I had a filling fall out three times and painful sensitivity--the staff got me in on very short notice. I had a lot of anxiety about starting over at a new practice, but everyone was incredibly kind and Kristy and Dr. Castellano walked me through what we needed to do to fix the problem. I felt like I was in such good hands, and I'm so grateful I found them!

I visited for the first time today after having a great fear of dentists for nearly three decades. Everyone that I met was incredibly sweet and took their time to make sure I was comfortable. It was the most comfortable I've ever been in a dentists office and will definitely be going back for their gentle care and wonderful staff. A huge thank you to Taja who spent so much time just making sure I could make it through the appointment. For anyone with fears about dentistry, this is the best place around.
