Dr. Jonny and Dr. Colin shared a desire to practice in a community where their skills could be best used for the betterment of the community; to truly make a positive impact. Our doctors joined together at Montshire to ensure that all children are treated with dignity and compassion and have equal access to quality dental care.
Montshire is the only pediatric dental office in Sullivan County that accepts Medicaid. In Cheshire County, we are one of only three. Private insurance often pays 3 to 4 times more than a dentist will receive for completing that exact same procedure on a child who has Medicaid. For that reason, many dentists refuse Medicaid entirely. Where it is accepted, most limit Medicaid to a small percentage of their client base. At Montshire, we do not restrict it in any way.
The trend in our country is discouraging. Cavities are the most common chronic childhood disease in America, and 80% of this tooth decay is found in the lowest-income 20% of the population. Why should kids become victim to circumstances that they have no control over? Montshire is dedicated to fightingand reversingthis trend. Above all else, we are here to serve our community, and we will hold to our mission:

This crew is amazing!! Great with kids, balanced talking to me about the plan for her teeth, keeping my kiddo content and informed, and did the job all at the same time! So very impressed, what a great team! I can't ever say I've looked forward to a medical visit before, for my daughter, but these guys are amazing, even my daughter is excited to visit again she won't stop talking about the tv on the ceiling! Would recommend, if I could give more stars I would.

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry goes above and beyond for their patients. Their staff are very friendly, work extremely well with their patients and are very knowledgeable. I recommend them to everyone whose child needs a dentist. They make your child feel at ease the minute they walk through their door.

I would like to thank the staff and doctors for their compassionate and caring dental treatments for my daughter.she is a 32 year old with autism.i cannot tell you how heartbreaking and frustrating it is to be denied care because of a disability.although montshire is a pediatric dentist they were more than willing to not only see my daughter, but to take care of all her dental needs.i cannot express enough my gratitude and appreciation for their gentle,caring. acceptance and care for my girl.as far as I'm concerned montshire will always be her dentist and I highly recommend them to anyone , disabled or not. They Are The BEST. Thank you guys so.so much

Second time bringing my 16 month old. The office is very up to date and clean, calming environment when you walk in, all the ladies that work there are super nice. I felt bad because my daughter screamed bloody murder the whole visit (she thought she was getting shots) it didn't even phase them. The two dentists we met were also handsome and sweet dads. Would definitely recommend

Our family is very impressed with Montshire Pediatric Dentist. My children were both able to be seen at one appointment time. They have a special setup for family appointments. The staff is so friendly and fun. They were also helpful and informative. Both of my children were comfortable which means so much. Thank you!

The Dr's, dental assistants and receptionist are amazing. Very family, friendly oriented and they make the kids feel comfortable. I Love it here for my kids.

Anyone who had children should be going here! The entire organization is geared towards children and creating a positive experience for them. Cannot recommend Montshire Pediatric Dentistry enough! You will be so happy you went there.

I have never been more pleased with a dentists office! I was nervous, and so was my daughter as it was her first appt ever, but they instantly made her feel comfortable! The entirety of the staff was informative, to not only me, but my daughter and made sure she knew exactly what was about to happen! The office takes pride in preventative care which is always a plus for both kids and parents.The appointment was fast but thorough, i felt like all my questions were answered efficiently and informatively, without making it feel like i was asking too many questions or "dumb" questions, which i fully appreciate. 100% will recommend this office, and quite sad i cant go there myself!!!

I have no photos, but my kid would have been happy to let me take photos during his visit. My son, Fish is extremely happy outgoing, however, if people don't match him, he will become bored. The amazing staff at lMonshire took him in quickly and assessed him at his second checkup. They cleaned and scaled his teeth in a flash and put sealants on his teeth so fast. They made us laugh . Highly recommend. The whole staff is so cutting edge with dental care in general

We have enjoyed our experiences since switching from our old Dentist. The staff are wonderful and great with the kids. I recommend this office to anyone with children. 100% devoted to the the comfort, care and needs of the children they care for. I can't say enough about them all. They care, they truly care about the families.

What a great place to bring your kids for their dental work. Today we had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Colin Boswell, he was so good at relating to the kids and then switching gears and answering all my questions. So professional. In the past we have had our care done by Dr. Jonny Norris and we are so appreciative of the care he has taken, not only in making sure our children are comfortable and well-taken care of, but also in making sure that we as parents understood what was happening with our kids, what our options were and what he thought was the best plan for their care. He is flexible, caring, and is always focused on the best interest of his patients. It is so great to see the practice expanding and we think Dr. Colin is a great addition. We look forward to meeting Dr. Bryn Boswell and have no doubt that he will be as professional, caring and wonderful as his colleagues!

Everyone here is so happy and kind. They take their time to explain any questions we had which is so nice. They also tell you every time they are going to do something before they do it. Absolutely my favorite dental experience! I will continue to bring my 9 kids here for years to come!

Colin and his staff took great care of our 4yo son and we were looking forward to sending our younger son there too...but the business day before our next appointment they called me and said they no longer accept my insurance and the cleaning( brushing and flossing his teeth) would be over $200 out of pocket. Great timing for this guys. I'm very upset and have unfortunately started looking another pediatric dentist in the area. Angry is an understatement.

My 11 year old was a complete mess for days before going to the dentist. Her past experiences really left a fearful imprint on her. It has been two years since she had last seen a dentist. Montshire Pediatric Dentistry took her right in, showed her an abundance of caring, kindness, understanding and a huge listening ear. She was able to express everything on her fears. She left today after getting a filling feeling a whole new way about dentist. They listen, they don't lie and don't make you do anything you don't agree to first. She hugged the dentist, assistant and Hygienist before leaving with a big smile on her face. I'm so very grateful for this awesome dentistry and everyone in it!!! 10 stars all the way.

The staff is so nice!! They were so good with my kids and went above and beyond in their duties!! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone with kids that need a dentist!! The Dentist was great too!! He made my kids feel comfortable and put them at ease! My kids are actually looking forward to going back!

I highly recommend Montshire! I don't even know where to begin they go above and beyond. Dr. Johnny is outstanding in his gentle non- invasive (when he can be) highly educational approach. His front desk staff are the friendliest, most patient, knowledgeable, down to earth individuals; they just make everything so easy for kale & I. The Dental hygienist has such a great sense of humor and really understands how to communicate/handle children. 10 stars!!!
