Dr. Jonny and Dr. Colin shared a desire to practice in a community where their skills could be best used for the betterment of the community; to truly make a positive impact. Our doctors joined together at Montshire to ensure that all children are treated with dignity and compassion and have equal access to quality dental care.
Montshire is the only pediatric dental office in Sullivan County that accepts Medicaid. In Cheshire County, we are one of only three. Private insurance often pays 3 to 4 times more than a dentist will receive for completing that exact same procedure on a child who has Medicaid. For that reason, many dentists refuse Medicaid entirely. Where it is accepted, most limit Medicaid to a small percentage of their client base. At Montshire, we do not restrict it in any way.
The trend in our country is discouraging. Cavities are the most common chronic childhood disease in America, and 80% of this tooth decay is found in the lowest-income 20% of the population. Why should kids become victim to circumstances that they have no control over? Montshire is dedicated to fightingand reversingthis trend. Above all else, we are here to serve our community, and we will hold to our mission:

The staff at Monteshire Pediatric Dentistry are amazing. Our girls had their first dentist appointments ever. The staff put their anxiety as ease, were kind, professional, and explained everything to the girls as they went through their appointments. We have found our forever dentist!

We are new to the area and were super excited to visit this office. I made an appointment for my son a little over a month ago. They sent us a text confirmation & I replied that, yes, we would be coming to the appointment. I filled out all of his paperwork online and we were all set to go after school the day of his appointment. He woke up super sick, throwing up, a bad cough, an ear infection. We called to reschedule because obviously for his sake and theirs, we don't want to take him in sick. They told us because it was his first appointment and less than 48 hours before his appointment, they will no longer take him as a patient. So, because he got sick, which is totally out of our control we lose our privilege to be seen there? Would they rather us bring him in sick? Makes no sense to me and seems super unprofessional. Makes me glad it didn't work out.

I brought my 8 year old in for a first visit today. From the second we walked in everyone was warm and inviting. We saw Dr. Collin and I was blown away. He was so wonderful with my daughter and explained everything every step of the way. His dental hygienist was absolutely fantastic. 10/10 best dentist appointment I have ever witnessed.

For almost 10 years my family has been under the care of Montshire Pediatric Dentistry. All four of our children love Michele our hygienists, the dentists and the front office. They have been amazing. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of a dentist for their children. They are calm, patient and soothing when the kids are nervous, and fun and upbeat when everyone is settled in. We really enjoy them and always leave with a sparkling smile.

My 9 year old daughter didn't feel comfortable in the office but my 2 younger boys liked them just fine! They decided to kick my kids all out of the office so they couldn't get dental care anymore just over my daughter's feelings! I thought this was a little unreasonable!!!

Today was my daughters very first dentist visit. Everyone that saw her today was gentle and made her first dentist visit a positive one. We left feeling good about going to the dentist and with some new techniques to try. I would recommend this office to any family that is apprehensive in bringing their child to the dentist!

This place is truly a wonderful place for kids!!!! Wether it's your first time or not they are sooo in tune with everything that yours kids need or might be a problem and give them so much praise when your doing a great job!!!! I would highly recommend this place 100% everytime!!!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Montshire Pediatric. We found Dr. Colin after working with 4 other Dentists in the area. We were looking for a dentist that would help our kids feel comfortable. He listened to our concerns and took time to fully answer our questions. More importantly he talked/talks to our kids directly involving them in their own care. When we now also see Dr. Bryn we have the exact same experience. The hygienist and team is also amazing. Michelle is so kid friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They have really made a difference in the health of our kids teeth and their experience with something a lot of kids are afraid of doing. Our kids have actually had no new or worsening cavities since we have been with this practice. I also really appreciate the multiple reminders for upcoming appointments. The office is also willing to see all three of our kids at the same time. Like I said, I can't say enough about this practice. I wish we had found them sooner and I wish I could go there as a patient myself!

Dr.Jonny was amazing and so kind to my son who was nervous. He kept the energy light and fun. Also when speaking with me he was very thoughtful and made sure to explain everything. My son didn't even cry while getting a tooth stretched!

OMG I don't even know where to begin? This dentist office is the best! They really know how to work with children. They made my son feel right at home while he had a pretty major procedure done. He just watched ninjago on the ceiling mounted TV. Great people all around. I couldn't think of any way it could be better.

Montshire Pediatric Dentistry is wonderful! They have been available for immediate dental needs as well and cleaning and repairs. They are kind, patient and gentle with all four of my kids ranging in age from 3 to 11. My kids love going to the dentist and that says a lot!
