Dr. Monticciolo earned his dental degree, with highest honors, from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1990. He was selected to the Honors Clinical Program and was class president. After graduation, he also served as a part-time faculty member at the dental school. Dr. Monticciolo has always been a constant student, earning his M.B.A. in 2000 from the University of South Florida and his Law degree (J.D.) in 2013, all while continuing to practice full-time. Also, he has recently co-authored two books: Uncommon with Brian Tracy, and The Soul of Success with Jack Canfield. In 2001, Dr. Monticciolo founded Dentistry from the Heart, a non-profit dental charity which provides free dental care to those in need. Under his guidance, the charity has grown to all 50 states and 5 countries and is now sponsoring over 300 events a year.
In addition to his family and sedation dentistry practice, Dr. Monticciolo has been driven by opportunities to lead through example. From becoming a part-time faculty member at the dental school hed once attended, to finding a way to improve his community by offering free dental care to those in need, Dr. Monticciolo firmly believes in using his talents and passions for the greater good.
Dr. Monticciolo sees dentistry as a means to go beyond dental care, and into making a positive difference in his community. In this chapter of The Power of Giving Back, he talks about combining his career and his passions to create his charity Dentistry from the Heart.
Dr. Wade earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. His undergraduate study was in the field of Microbiology. Prior to joining Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry, Dr. Wade practiced general dentistry for over 25 years in the Brandon/Bradenton areas. His extensive professional experience assures patients they are receiving the highest level of compassionate dental care.
Dr. Wade is dedicated to his work and strives to remain on the cutting edge in the delivery of dental care. Throughout his career, he has studied and taken continuing education courses from some of the leading authorities in the dental community. Dr. Wade provides all aspects of general family care, with a special interest in creating beautiful smiles. He is a member of the American, Florida, and West Coast Dental Associations. For the comfort of our more anxious patients, Dr. Wade is fully trained to safely sedate you. You can have your dental treatment completed while you peacefully relax.
Dr. Wade enjoys a proud family heritage as a fifth generation Floridian. He grew up in Hillsborough County and currently resides there with his wife, Christine. He is the proud father of three children. Dr. Wade enjoys college sports and is a long-time Florida Gator supporter, attending their events as often as possible. Additionally, Dr. Wade appreciates the great outdoors and enjoys traveling with his wife and children.
Dr. Christine Van Groesbeck attended Florida State University and Florida Gulf Coast University for her undergrad degree in Biology. Upon completing her Bachelors, she worked as a lab researcher on mineral transport systems at the University of Central Florida while pursuing a Masters in Biotechnology. She then continued her education at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, where she earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree.
Since living in St. Petersburg, Dr. Van Groesbeck built a partnership with the Free Clinic of St. Pete in 2015 as a volunteer dentist and continues her work currently one day a week, as she is committed to making a positive difference in the local community. She lives locally with her husband, Tim, and their two dogs Shadow and Mookie Betts. She also maintains a local chicken egg co-op for her friends and neighbors by raising and tending to her flock. She works hard to make time for traveling to family back in New England. Her interests include family, volunteerism, travel and anything animal related.
Dr. Van Groesbeck maintains membership or continuing education through The International Academy of Biological Dentistry & Medicine, International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and West Coast Dental Association, which further allows her to sharpen her skillset to provide high quality, comprehensive care and focus on patient education. She strives to stay informed on new techniques to provide comfortable care and the best functional, aesthetic result possible.

Our visit to Monticciolo was due to a $300 new patient special offer which was mailed to our home. Beware because not only are all charges for procedures required to be paid upfront, the $300 offer turned into a $12,000 out of pocket costs. And guess what, the teeth procedure did not work. So if you have more money than time, I recommend Monticciolo!!!

Dr. Monticciolo and staff have been amazing. Taking time to go over everything. I had denture surgery on both top and bottom. Scared to death. Staff was real with expectations. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

To anyone who reads this I urge you to find another dentist. This company definitely does not care about you or your experience only money. I live in Seminole and got their consultation done at the st Pete location. .I'm 22 and I was getting 4 wisdom teeth removed And 2 implants. working with this location after my surgery is a nightmare. Apparently the dentist who operated on me whom I never met during any consultation or any conversation before the operation only works at this location and In tampa. Im supposed to return every couple months to check on my status before moving forward with the implants. However the past 3 appointments I've had they've all cancelled and rescheduled the day before via voicemail. if the rescheduled date and time doesn't work for me I'm expected to wait another 2-4 weeks for another availability. I can't work with any other dentist at another branch closer so I'm forced to drive an hour out to tampa or new port richey.. 8 grand was spent and I was told I'd have everything done by the end of the year however it's now almost November and my impressions aren't even started and I'm expected to wait 2-3 more weeks for another availability to be seen again for less than 10 minutes.

They were nice and then they hit me with you need to pay upfront and my insurance helped a small bit but not enough. I am in alot of pain and they wouldnt help even with 2000 upfront. They sent me home and I am screwed. No compassion no recommendation!

If Negative stars was an option I would be giving less. I have been waiting for 3 years to get my teeth cleaned every appointment they schedule gets cancelled and pushed back. Or you show up and no one is their to clean your teeth. I would not recommend them! They can't keep their dental hygienist or their appointments. I have tried multiple offices with the same results. It takes me calling to ask about my appointment to find out they canceled it and no one called me to reschedule it and appointments are out until May now. Glad I waited a year for it to be canceled and now wait even longer.

I just had a whole mouthful of cavities filled. I couldn't afford sedation so I was given gas, I had the best experience while using gas I've ever had. I truly didn't remember anything except a few shots, but normally under had I remember everything and it's very painful. So thank you Monticciolo dentistry and the dentist that saw me specifically for providing me with an excellent experience!

Today I have new denture from MONTICCIOLA family Dentistry in Little Road New Port Richey Florida 34654. Today I got my new crown. From beginning appointment til today, staff was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Dr. F was wonderful, very concerned about my comfort, and explained everything before& after. Love Monticciolo dentistry, and all who are professionals there.

First time Dr. Fares put 2 crowns on me and I am still in pain for 2 weeks!!!! First he rushed in and rushed out to get the build up done and left! He did not even come back to check on the temporary crowns! He didn't give me any pills or rinse to use...after that. I was in Pain for a WHOLE week, then I called a week later, then he said the crowns were too high that caused the pain, then he fixed them and he gave me the pills and rinse... I used them and still in pain... I had to take Ibuprofen 3 times a day and still in pain... can't eat or chew anything, I can only use smoothies for all my meals! The pain wakes me up at nights and I am so miserable!!!! Dr. Fares Treats patient like a number and I am one of them...

Excellent staff and Doctors. They thoroughly explained what procedures i need in great detail. Unfortunately for me my insurance doesnt cover what i need , but i appreciate there expertise and would reccomend them to anyone who needs general dentistry. New Port Richey office on 5139 little. Rd.

This dental offer free x-rays that they don't charge the insurance to get you through the door - But buyer beware --they'll charge the insurance or high price for crowns and work on your teeth depending on what the x-ray shows. Their calendar waiting period is one month in advance for cleaning. They have practicing learning students taking x-rays so they will x-ray your whole mouth multiple times sometimes in some areas it's a learning experience for them and if you want your x-rays they will charge you individually $75 for them. I asked them to charge the insurance to receive my x-rays and they refuse. I do not recommend going here they offer free x-ray technicians as teaching experience to learn on your mouth & teeth and they have over priced dental work.
