Welcome to the Family Dental Center, where our goal is the help you maintain your dental health. Our practice is dedicated to preventive care for the whole family. The Montgomery Village Dental center was founded in 1995 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In 1998, the practice expanded and opened the Wheaton Dental Center in Wheaton, Maryland. Together, our practice is known as the Family Dental Center.
Throughout the years, we have built long-lasting trust and relationships with our patients. We put our patients first. We make sure they are provided with best treatment in order to achieve the best oral health.
We provide all facets of dentistry including preventive care, restorative care, periodontal care, orthodontics (braces) with an orthodontist on staff, oral surgery (with an oral surgeon in practice), and endodontics (root canals) with an endodontist in practice. Our collective team has one priority in mind: your smile. We look forward to seeing you at one of our convenient locations!

The dentist was friendly and recommended Listerine Total Care mouthwash and Paradontax toothpaste. Both have been helpful in keeping my teeth clean! The staff was friendly and patient especially when it came to taking X-rays of my mouth. I would certainly recommend this dentist to a friend or family member!

I've been here for a year now. Dr. Haq and Dr.Bakir always do a good job to make that all patients are satisfied with treatment. My family also really enjoys coming here. Office staff is always super nice and kind. Just makes you want to come back!

Dr.Bakir is an exceptional dentist! My whole family uses his services and we're very happy with results. The staff at the office is very attentive and pleasant. I would recommend this office to anyone who seeks professional and outstanding services!

This dentist office is great, and worked hard with me to make a fair and reasonable plan, so that I could save my teeth from some serious issues! Individuals are professional and they have consistent staff. I feel safe and confident that they are working in my best interest. Check them out for sure!

Ever since I came to this office I've always had a good time going to the dentist. Dr. Haq and employees are always super nice. Especially the front head of the office Veronica she's the best!! She always explains treatment plans and insurance questions that I have. She makes it easy to understand. I really enjoyed this place!

My wife called at 8:15am to cancel her appointment for her 9:30am on a Monday same day, she was told that there is a 24hour policy to make a cancellation and needs to reschedule with a rude tone. My wife told the one who answered the phone, who didn't even introduce herself, that she is having an emergency(I would not like to disclose this info) but still gave her an attitude and hang up the phone. How can we cancel an appointment on a Sunday(office is closed) when we were also on the ER Saturday night? And instead of giving sympathy on what's happening to my wife, the one who answered the phone gave her a more stressful situation. We would never make any business with this office again.

The services at this Dental location is absolutely AMAZING!!! Dr. HAQ is the best doctor I've ever had. He is very knowledgeable and very professional with the work he does. He's friendly and cares very much about you're overall dental health. The staff as well is very helpful and so nice. I've been there now afew times and the experience is the same always. I've made Dr. Haq my personal dentist from here in out. BEST DENTAL OFFICE PERIOD!!!

My Family and I have been patients here for several years, The Doctors and staff are very welcoming and profesional. Dr Haq is very patient with my four year old daughter, who normally is afraid of doctors. I would highly recommend this office.

This dentist deserves more than 5 stars! I have been coming here for a while now and have recommended this place to a couple of my family members. They always walk out satisfied! Dr. Haq is very knowledgeable and it shows that he loves what he does! The staff is very friendly and answer all your questions to the best of their ability. Seems like they are also taking good precautions because of COVID by wearing a mask and shield.

I love this place. Yesterday was my first time coming here. All the workers were so kind and sweet. Great and fast service, and the doctor did a great job working on my teeth, no pain or nothing. He was very gentle. He kept telling me every second if I was okay. I highly recommend coming here !!
