John Rubin, D.D.S., has been practicing the art of cosmetic and restorative dentistry since 1981. He graduated from the distinguished University of Texas Dental School in Houston which consistently ranks among the top dental schools in the country. Dr. Rubin attained specialized training at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.
Dr. Rubins first practice was in Downtown Fort Worth in a corner of the Radio Shack Tower. He became known as the Downtown Dentist. In 2006 Dr. Rubin moved the practice to a more convenient location for his patients, to the centrally located Montgomery Plaza. I wanted a location that gave my patients fast and easy access and parking near my door, said Dr. Rubin. The Montgomery Plaza building holds a lot of history of Fort Worth. It opened in 1928 and introduced a huge retail scene to the city. It is now an iconic feature of our skyline. However, over the years, the retail scene changed and the Plaza was redeveloped into a multi-purpose residential and entertainment center that also houses small business practices including our dental practice.
Dr. Rubin regularly completes advanced courses in dentistry. Staying up to date on the latest technologies is very important to him so he can continue to ensure his patients receive the highest care possible. He has accrued hundreds of continuing education hours and studies with lead doctors in the dentistry field. Dr. Rubin is skilled in bonding, cosmetic dentistry, restorative treatment, invisalign braces, and implants.
Dr. Rubin was recently featured in Fort Worth Texas Magazine as one of the Top Docs of the Metroplex, is an Invisalign Gold Provider, and has consistently been recognized as a Top Dentist in the Fort Worth area.
Dr. Rubin is a native of Fort Worth. He and his wife, Meg, have a daughter, son-in-law, son, a grandson and two dogs. He is an avid sportsman and enjoys outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, fishing and biking.
Over the past 30 years, Sharon has been an invaluable team member for our practice. Born and raised in Dallas, she attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She has also completed training at the Caruth School of Dental Hygiene.
I especially enjoy hitting the road on the weekend for short getaways, I love spending time with family, most importantly my two grandchildren, Lincoln and Perry. When Im home, you can find me working in the yard or kicking back out by the pool with friends. Give me warm weather any day!
I love working with people and strive to make them feel comfortable while they are in my chair. I have seen some of my patients for so many years, we are like family! It is essential that I help people realize how important it is to keep their teeth and gums healthy by establishing good daily habits. This, in turn, directly impacts their overall health.
An Irving, TX native, Sara graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M University, and later attended the Baylor College of Dentistry in 2002. We have been lucky to have her at our office since 2008.
Sara enjoys spending time with her family, and is active in her community. Her favorite hobbies include reading, swimming and being outdoors. Sara has been interested in Dentistry since she was a teenager, and greatly enjoys taking care of patients.
Vicky joined the Montgomery Plaza Dental team in 2020. She has been working in the dental field for 13 years and became a RDA in 2007. As part of Vicky's mission in dentistry, she values interacting with patients, helping them to enjoy going to the dentist, and helping to improve smiles daily. When shes not in the office, Vicky enjoys spending quality time with her mom, three children, and her two dogs.

Hands down the best dental experience I've ever had. The entire staff was so kind and patient and made me feel safe. They got me in so quickly when I had an emergency as a new patient. Dr. Lambourne and the entire staff at Montgomery Plaza Dental is incredible! I have nothing but good to say about every one of them. From the front desk knowing me every time I walk in the door, to the assistants who get me in the back quickly and are very attentive, to the hygienist that is so very explanatory and helpful, to doc himself, who takes the time to make sure everything is perfect and I am comfortable, I just love this office! I am also thrilled with my new smile, thanks to them!

Their website is easy to use when looking at available dates and times for an appointment, even as a new patient. The office is clean and the staff at the front desk are nice. The dental hygienist's name that worked on me was Cecilia, and I enjoyed my experience with her. She's knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I appreciate the help from everyone here and look forward to my future appointments with them!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Sarah, the dental hygienist, is so knowledgeable and friendly!!! Usually the dentist is nerve wracking- you don't know if they'll be too rough or snippy about current flossing habits, BUT SARAH WAS AWESOME!!! She said I had beautiful teeth - totally made my day. The dentist too was so helpful in going above and beyond to explain my treatment plan.

I love Sarah! My whole family goes to her for cleanings, even my kids! The atmosphere is welcome and nice and not sterile and cold. And my veneers are perfection! Dr. Lambourne exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them for both veneers and Invisalign.
