This practice is awesome. I had all 4 wisdom teeth extracted and ended up with some of the common complications (not their fault, probably mine). Both Dr. Merlo and Dr. Itani were extremely proactive and attentive to my needs. Dr. Merlo even took the time to call me while he was out of the office to check on me and address my issues so that they wouldn't worsen. Very knowledgeable, straight to the point, and gets you in and out of the office quickly. Even the receptionist, nurse, and MA are great. I highly recommend this office.

The surgeon made decisions different from the plan we talked about - I went under and woke up without one of the teeth that was to be extracted still in. Every dentist I have gone to afterwards is confused by why this was done and recommends removal. The surgeon also did not numb my gums before injecting anesthesia. I learned this was to be done when I visited another dentist. The first implant received here didn't heal well and I believe this was because I was not given detailed or personalized after care instructions.

I have gotten my wisdom teeth removed last year, and this week I came back so they could remove my daughters extra tooth. She's 9 at the moment. My two experiences were a little different from each other. Overall the staff was kind each time and I had a good experience. What I wanted to mention is that I felt like they were more gentle and hospitable when it came to my daughters appointment. Which was great! When I came for myself, I kind of felt like I was in and out and nothing really special happened. But with my daughter, just the way they were talking to me and talking to her, made me feel like we were important. I know that sounds silly, but I was happy that I felt acknowledged. The tone in which they spoke was very respectful and important to me. I appreciate the staff for their efforts to make my little one feel safe. I recommend Dr Merlo to anyone!

I needed to have 3 wisdom teeth extractions. I called to schedule an appointment for consultation. The receptionist scheduled it - she was very polite and kind. During the consultation Dr. Merlo explained everything well and answered my questions. After, I scheduled my surgery for the 3 wisdom teeth extractions with general anesthesia. On the day of the surgery Dr. Merlo was kind and made me feel reassured. I went to sleep under general anesthesia and woke up after the surgery was successful. After, a follow up visit was scheduled for 7 days after the surgery. Dr. Merlo met with me for my follow up after oral surgery in a timely fashion. He answered all my questions. During my recovery period I felt very minimal pain, and discomfort. I think this is testament to Dr. Merlo's skill and knowledge. Accommodating front office staff. Comfortable yet professional setting. I was taken on time, carefully examined by Dr. Merlo and I was given a course of treatment while making me feel confident that I was in good hands. A very good experience.

After more than a year of dealing with multiple issues, including a failed implant, all 5 implants, are in place, with excellent caps. Having to deal with protracted dental issues is exhausting, glad it's over. Thanks to Dr.Merlot and his team.

First time coming here for 2 impacted wisdom tooth extractions. 1) Procedure was done flawlessly 2) ALL staff members are intelligible and willing to assist in any manner 3) Both doctor Yim/Merlo are extremely professional.
