Working with children makes me smile! Each day, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to make such a positive difference in the lives of my young patients, whether Im teaching proper methods of oral hygiene or simply sharing a smile. It is my goal to create a positive first dental experience for every patient I meet.
I was born and raised in Stockton, California. After completing my bachelors degree at the University of California, San Diego, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco. In August 2000, I completed my specialty training in pediatrics at the University of Southern California. That same month, I began practicing in the pediatric department of the Monterey Peninsula Dental Group.
In addition to my work in the office, I am also on staff at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. I am an assistant clinical professor at UCSF in the Department of Growth and Development as well. I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and California Society of Pediatric Dentistry,

Very happy with this office! (Kate is always very helpful at the front desk). Dr. Miller is patient and made us comfortable. My two year old had her first dentist Appt today and had a great experience! See you in 6 months!

Dr. Miller and his staff are absolutely wonderful. My 3 kids (and I) love the fish tanks, they are something to see. Everyone working there is so nice, and treats my whole family so well. I really love visiting Dr. Miller and I think my kids would say the same.

During the Pandemic, Dr. Miller and his team in my opinion did outstanding job with the precautions and safety. My 2 year old loves Dr. Miller, he is one of the most friendliest guys in town. I would recommend Dr. Miller to anyone!

I couldn't be more grateful for Dr. Miller. On a Sunday, he came in and helped my little daughter with a tooth she had knocked out. I am soooo happy I chose him to be her dentist.

Dr. Miller and his staff are superb. We bring both our daughters to Dr. Miller's office, and we have always had excellent service. His staff are friendly and warm and make our daughters feel comfortable during their visits. During our 7-year old's recent visit, again Dr. Miller and his staff were terrific. Our daughter had to have two teeth removed, and the whole procedure went great.

Dr. Miller was so calming and patient with my 22 month old daughter when I brought her in to have her front tooth checked after she fell and chipped her tooth. He explained all of the possibilities of what could happen over the next few weeks and assured us as new parents dealing with this situation for the first time. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller and his wonderful staff to any parent looking for a great pediatric dentist!! Plus, he has a beautiful fish tank in his office that my daughter absolutely loves!!

We love Dr. Miller. We always have a great experience when we go in. He is very calm and gentle and my kids feel totally comfortable there. We have been seeing him for years. (Update 1/9/2020: we still love Dr. Miller and had another great experience on this visit)

My kids are 17, and 14, now and they have been patients of Dr Miller all of their lives. We have been nothing but pleased with him and his amazing staff. Most recently, after received a few email notifications that I had forgotten to schedule cleaning appointments for my kids, and their due dates had passed, I got a call from their scheduler to talk to me about making appointments as well as offering me cancellation appointments for the next day! How easy was that?!?
