Dr. Pooyan Nasibi strives to provide the highest standard of care to all patients regardless of their background, culture, or personal characteristics. Dr. Nasibi earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from USCs Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry in 2013. He spent the next two years in the advanced specialty education program in Pediatric Dentistry at Loma Linda University. The Dr. enjoys martial arts, drawing, and staying fit.
Dr. Pooyan Nasibi received the Deans List Award while at USC multiple years, named the Most Active Community Outreach Member in the Alpha Omega Fraternity, and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dedicated to growing as a doctor and a member of his community, Dr. Nasibi volunteers at the USC mobile dental clinic in Bakersfield, Escondido, Cambodia, Columbia, and Pasadena. He conducts comprehensive oral examinations and treatment plans, provides appropriate oral hygiene instructions to parents, and performs a variety of restorative treatments, prophy, and fluoride varnish for children and young adults.
Building Community Dr. Nasibi stays busy giving back to the community by presenting at various elementary and junior high schools in the greater Los Angeles district for the Boys and Girls Club. He also helps distribute food and oral health instruction techniques to the homeless for Meals on Wheels. Lastly, Dr. Nasibi reviews and presents pediatric journal articles and discusses the history of pediatrics treatment being directly involved in the development and advancement of pediatric care.

From my first call to our first visit today, everything was professional and welcoming! So clean! My son had his first dental experience here today and he won't stop talking about it. It made me so happy to know he felt the welcome also! Thank you to all of you! Can't wait to go back!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! Seriously i can't say enough good things about this place , from getting 2 appointments the very next day after I called, to the AMAZING nurses & the dentist dr pooyan nasibi they are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I brought my 2 sons William whose 3 (his first time at the dentist) and my son David whose 6 and the nurses and drs made them so comfortable and to my surprise both my boys behaved and listened so well due the way they were being treated . The nurses and dentist answered all my questions, they took the time to show me everything, and explain and just really made me feel very comfortable with letting my boys be treated here . I took my oldest to a kids dentist in la puente and it was horrible so we left and came here and all I can is wow! The office is beautiful and all set up for kids , the staff is amazing and I am so so so happy to of found this place! The over all vibe of this place is so awesome and as a father whose job it is to keep my kids safe and have them know I'd never let anyone hurt them it such a huge relief to find a place who you can just feel really loves kids and is doing this for the right reason not just to bill insurance! I really seriously can not recommend this place enough ! I give it 10 stars!

My daughter does not like going to the dentist due to previous experiences with other dentists. The staff and Dr. Pooyan Nasibi are absolutely AMAZING!! They make you feel comfortable and welcome everyone with open arms. Dr. Nasibi brings his dog, Vader, to help relax the children and I must say this is such a clever idea!! My daughter felt so much better knowing Vader was there as a therapy dog and couldn't wait to go back! I have recommended Dr. Nasabi to family and would highly recommend him to anyone with children that need dental work done or even just a check-up. The staff here are exceptional! They really make you feel like you're family and explain the process and payments clearly and thoroughly. They don't pressure you to get porcelain Montebello Children's Dental is AMAZING! Can't see us going anywhere else :)

I started bringing my son to Montebello Children's Dentistry after first taking him to Children's Happy Teeth. He needed some work done, which I knew but his first ever dental visit was not a good one. They said we needed to take x-rays and he was strapped to a table with a bunch of objects stuffed into his mouth. It was scary for him so he acted out and he's only 2! They said he would need sedation and an anesthesiologist would be called to come sedate him. They then told us we would need to pay a $200 down payment to book that appointment and once we pay it and book, they would then run our insurance to see what is covered and what is not but if it wasn't covered, it would be an additional $1,000 to sedate and we could not be with him during this procedure, my baby basically would be handed off to get sedated in a room full of strangers. I'm sorry but nope, I decided to look elsewhere. Found Montebello Children's Dentistry through a Google search and they had excellent reviews. My son still had to be sedated but it went a lot better and I was there to see exactly what was happening and hold him. The doctor is very caring and goes above for his patients plus they have a doggie there to be a support animal for the kiddos. My son safely got his teeth fixed and I felt so much relief after I left that it was finally over and everything turned out ok. Don't forget to book your child's next dental appointment here, you won't regret it!

Wow! We have tried out several dentist, and this place does not compare! They are so good with the kids! And, they are able to put my son under Anastasia for his multiple root canals! It's quite a drive for us, but we don't mind. We love this place!

Avoid coming to this office!!! My son came out of treatment with a bruised wrist. The assistant explained that he was "probably" resisting and will go away with a bag a of ice but my son was under oral sedation and nitrous oxide. I was not allowed to be in the room because their regulations are followed like the hospital regulations the doctor explained. As a mother we think the worse and we worry when we are away from our children! And this team failed to keep my son safe. Please parents keep your babies safe!!!

Montebello Children's Dentistry provides 5 star service. My son and nieces enjoy going to the dentist for there check ups. They have even put my son on braces and his smile is beautiful thanks to them. The ladies there all provide above and beyond customer service. I always recommend them to my family and friends.
