We were treated terribly at this office and will not be back. The doctor is rude and inconsiderate and does not care about his patients' time. I called this office in August because I am looking for a new dentist. They seemed nice and had decent reviews. We don't have the best insurance plan and the dentist is in the plan so we scheduled our appointments. When I took my son in early October for his appointment we waited for an hour, he spent about 60 seconds with the doctor, and walked out with his school form filled out, no cleaning, no x-rays, and no exam. I explained to the receptionist that I thought he was getting an annual visit and she told me that because he has braces the doctor "can't do anything. " I asked her what type of treatment my husband and I would get when we came in and she said we would get our regular annual dental exam with x-rays and everything so I scheduled the appointment for today at 4 PM. we arrived on time and there was no parking, so we had to pay to park on the street. When we walked in there were five people in the waiting room. We waited patiently for about an hour and a half, and at 5:30 they finally called me back. They left my husband in the waiting room and called back the other gentleman who had arrived an hour after us. The doctor talked to me for a minute, took one x-ray, and walked out of the room without saying anything. I waited for about 10 minutes while I listened to him having a conversation (not related to the field of dentistry) with the other gentleman while my husband and I continue to wait. About 5:50, almost 2 hours after our appointment, I finally asked what was going on and was told that he was done! He said he could not do anything and could not clean our teeth because he did not have our records from the old dentist. I explained to him that this was our second attempt to come to their office and that he was going to lose three new patients if he didn't do the annual exam that we had scheduled. The doctor told me over and over again that it was very simple, and it was OK for me to come back a third time and then once he had the records then he would see us. Not only was he rude and unprofessional, but the office is pretty gross. The chair looks like it is from 1975 and the green vinyl is torn. This office is extremely unprofessional, but due to our terrible experiences I can't even tell you if he's a good dentist or not because he doesn't seem to think that's part of his job when people come to his office.

I went to montclare dental because my dental insurance said it was the closest in my area that took my insurance. I immediately noticed how unclean the front desk staff looked as well as the equipment surrounding them. The dentist was nice. When I was done with my procedure, I was told I owed a co pay. That's fine I informed Jasmine at the front desk that I was unaware of a copayment because on my dental insurance card it clearly says $0 copay. Jasmine the front desk clerk got very upset like the co payment was going into her pocket at the end of the night. I asked could I be billed because I read my dental insurance card and it said no copay. Jasmine got very rude and stated that I could not get a work note to return to work because I didn't pay my copay. I asked to speak to a supervisor numerous times. They stated she comes in on Friday's and continued say I needed to pay my copay now. I never got nasty or rude with Jasmine or any of the front office staff. I will never go back to that dental office. Jasmine and the rest of the front desk staff are unprofessional they should have it in writing you have to pay your co pay or you can't get a return to work note. I have never had a service done and been refused a work note because a copayment is due. I wonder if it was because I'm African American and the rest of the pts at the clinic including the staff was of Arabic nationality and Hispanic nationality.

Montclair dental is fabulous I went there and explained how scared I was to have an eye tooth removed and several bottom teeth that were falling apart the staff and dentist made me feel confident to get this done and I'm extremely happy I did because not only was it quickly done like all 7 teeth in less than 15 minutes I now am getting my dentures thank you Montclair dental for your help and superior friendliness you guys rock

very inept, they did not tell me my meridian insurance can not accepted and i came all the way for nothing, never go here!!!

I have been trying to get ahold of somesone for a year to add this dental group to my insurance. No one answers the phone and no one returns calls. The worst service I have dealt with.

I've been a patient with this dentist for over 15 years. Dr. Atcha is not only an extraordinary dentist he is an overall wonderful, good hearted person. He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and is always so patient. I live over an hour away and still travel to have all my work done by him and wouldn't have it any other way. I've been going go him for over 17 years and he always does his best and takes his time. If you are looking for a dentist that truly cares please schedule with him!

Front receptionist were professional and polite but the dentist there was a whole other level of unprofessional. Let me start off with how disgusting and nasty the place is. I don't even know what the dentist name is because he never introduced himself. I explained to him that 3 professional dentists explain to me that I have a bunch of cavities and will need two root canals. He looks at me as if I was a liar and told me "I don't know where they came up with that one because you have none" and proceeded to tell me that I have 0 cavities. He does only 1 X-ray exams on my side teeth which were strange, never done a full mouth exam. I waited for over 20 mins for him to return that I finally got up to leave and saw him working in another patients mouth. I should of did my research and checked the reviews. Would of saved me a lot of trouble. Also just saw he posted a review with his profile acting as if he's a customer when he's the dentist! Giving himself 5 stars! Unbelievable. Avoid this place.

I'm someone that is Absolutely terrified of the dentist. Dr. Atcha is the Only dentist I go too. My family has been going to him for almost 20 years. I trust Dr.Atcha because he knows I'm scared and makes me feel so comfortable. He the Best!!! I greatly suggest if your looking for a dentist he's the guy. Thank you Dr.Atcha ( You are the Best)

I have been coming here for 15 years and there is a reason for it. First the service is great had my insurance information and everything. She did the leg work for me. Then the deep cleaning and a molar extraction and I was on my way. Thanks for doing a great job.
