Dr. Heidi Browne has been practicing dentistry for almost ten years. She grew up in Chester, Montana where she graduated as co-valedictorian of her high school class. She then attended Montana State University in Bozeman for undergrad where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and a minor in Biochemistry. Dr. Heidi Browne completed her dental school training at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Denver. Following dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in Boise, Idaho. After completing her residency, she and her husband were very excited when the opportunity presented itself to move back to Montana and begin working alongside the longtime Helena dentist, Dr. Crowley. The last years working in Helena have provided Dr. Heidi Browne with an amazing experience and great relationships. She plans on continuing to build upon the solid foundation that was laid for her by Dr. Crowley and Crowley Dentistry and continue to positively impact the Helena community by focusing on providing great dental care.
Dr. Heidi Browne is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Montana Dental Association, and she has served as the Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the local district dental society.
When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Heidi Browne spending time with her husband and their three kids. They frequently go camping, biking, traveling, and always bring their black labrador along for the adventures.

I'm new to Helena. I researched dentists in the Queen City and decided on Crowley Dental. Excellent is the one word that would summarize my dental care at Dr. Crowley's. Professional, punctual, friendly, are others I'd use to describe Dr. Crowley, his dental assistants, and front office. I'll be a regular patient from here on, no question. Excellent office staff and doctors/assistants. Makes going to the dentist a worry/ pain-free experience. Scheduling is easy and wait times are under ten minutes. The doctors always call later in the day to follow up and schedule check-ups as needed. Truly a great staff. The only advice I have is to keep doing what they're doing. I will be sure to recommend Crowley's to anyone I know in the Helena area.
Dr. Brad Grammens has been working in the field of dentistry for nearly 10 years, starting as an assistant during his time at Carroll College. He fell in love with the field of dentistry because he was able to help people through the blend of science and art. He was born and raised in Billings, Montana and graduated from Billings West High School. He then attended Carroll College majoring in Biology and graduating cum laude with honors. Dr. Brad Grammens completed his dental education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He worked at Hibbing Community Clinic in rural Minnesota and volunteered extracting teeth for low-income patients in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota before the opportunity to come back to Helena was presented. He is very excited to be back in Helena caring for the community and people he considers home and family. Dr. Brad Grammens plans to continue the tradition and high standard of care set by Dr. Eddie Crowley and Dr. Heidi Browne. Dr. Brad Grammens treats all his patients like family and provides personal empathetic dental treatment. He has found it most important to me to establish relationships with patients and to provide dental services that make a positive impact on their lives. His entire family lives in Montana, many of whom are farmers and ranchers around the state. His brother is a medical student who is working towards his dream of becoming a pediatric ICU physician. He is currently single in Helena and shares his house with his adventure buddy Wiley, who is a Yellow English Labrador.
Dr. Brad Grammen is a member of the Helena Fifth District Dental Society. He is also a member of the Montana Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Continued and advanced dental education is paramount to both Dr. Brad Grammens, Dr. Heidi Browne and their staff.
When hes not in the office When not at the office, you will not find me. I spend my free time exploring Montanas mountains and rivers. I enjoy mountain biking, mountaineering, archery hunting, angling, and skiing.
In his own words: I most enjoy the people and community of Helena. I decided to come back to Helena to care for the people that I consider family and to enjoy the recreational opportunities that the state provides.
Drs. Crowley and Brown are the most professional, kind, and friendly dentists. The hygienists are most gentle and pleasant. This practice is, in my opinion, the best. I am very grateful to be their patient.

Brandi is a Montana Native, born and raised in Conrad, MT. After graduating from MSU - Billings she entered the workforce as a dental assistant. After nine and half years assisting, she recently moved to the front office where she oversees the operations of the practice in her current role as Office Manager.
Meagan is a Montana Native, born and raised in the great city of Great Falls. After graduating from Great Falls High, she attended Great Falls College - MSU. She has been working in dentistry for three years; half of which she has been honing her skills as a dental hygienist.

We live in Butte and I had been in a decent amount of pain because I hadn't seen a dentist in so long. I have a lot of anxiety surrounding dentists in general. We weren't able to find anywhere within 30 miles of Butte that could see me same day but Dr. Grammens squeezed me in. Nobody there made me feel anxious or talked down to me. Dr. Grammens and his staff even stayed late to fight one heck of a tooth extraction so I wouldn't be in pain anymore. I will 100% be back to this dentist as a result!

Front office staff wasn't nice. Don't go here if your a traveling professional. They want you to pay all up front even for general visit just bc your not local. No wkd emergency dental appts

I cannot praise a dental office more than I can for MT Roots Dental Care. The front office staff greets you with a warm smile and the back office staff ensures you're comfortable throughout all procedures. Both doctors are exceptionally well trained professionals who seek to make sure you are comfortable and happy with all your care you receive. I would not go anywhere else for dental care in Montana!

The Drs here are amazing. They made my kiddos feel so comfortable to be in the dentist chair. Even the pediatric dentist couldn't get our 4 year old to climb up in the chair. The whole staff is super friendly

Dr Heidi is the most gentle dentist I have ever met. I explained my fears and the anxiety a visit to the dentist causes. She addressed my issues and fixed all my teeth with no pain!! She even notices my body language and can tell when I need a break for a minute. Her care is second to none, even following up the next day.

I recently had the privilege of seeing Dr. Grammens for the first time for a teeth cleaning and an annual exam. To say he was great is an understatement - he is friendly, professional, thorough, careful and extremely knowledgeable. The quality of his work is notable as well as his friendly demeanor and professional disposition. I have had a longstanding history of dental work involving failed implants, crown lengthening, composite work and Invisalign. I feel extremely confident in his ability to manage my care for the long haul and know he will provide the most up to date and comprehensive dental care possible. He is an exceptional dentist, and we are lucky to have him in our Helena community!!

I have seen both Dr. Browne and Dr. Grammens and highly recommend them both to anyone. I have a lot of anxiety about the dentist after some terrible experiences in the past and both doctors have put me at ease. I'm very pleased with the work they have done. All of the staff and hygienists are very personable and treat you like an old friend when you come in. I really enjoy the text message reminders about appointments as well. Plus, the staff will respond to text messages and it's not just an impersonal automated message.

Dr Browne is an amazing dentist and is great with kids - not going to another dentist as long as we are in Helena. Adding to this (2020) --- Daughter had her first tooth pulled and was more anxious about whether or not the dentist would let her bring a toy home for her brother or not.

What a great business! Office is clean, tidy, and well kept. I am doing Invisalign with Dr Grammins and he has been nothing but helpful. He has taken calls whenever I had questions and if he wasn't available, he always calls back. The secretaries have been great to work with for scheduling and they are efficient with reminders as well. Also, the Invisalign is working faster then I could have imagined, very impressed!

This has to be the best dentist office in all of Montana!!!!! Melissa and Brandi were so kind to check us in and answer all of our questions!!! Jaclyn was simply amazing, so sweet, kind, and friendly!!! Jaclyn went out of her way to make my sons first experience the best ever! Heidi and Brad have to be the best dentist I have ever seen! Brad explained everything clearly, was so friendly, and generally cared about our experience!!! I can not tell you how amazing you made us feel! Your friendly authentic and thoughtful actions were such a blessing!! I highly recommend Montana Roots Dental Care!!!!

This place is great, super friendly staff!!! Dr. Heidi Browne, Jaclyn and Cheyenne were AWESOME, I would recommend Montana Roots to anyone! We moved to Helena recently and needed a Dentist and Montana Roots came highly recommended. I felt very comfortable with everyone and appreciated the time they took with me and the professionalism (better than some of my past dental experiences). We'll be taking the family here from now on!!

I recently moved to Helena and was in need of a cleaning. Prior to making an appointment for a cleaning I had a filling fall out. Dr. Grammens made time in his schedule on a Friday to see me and fix my filling. He was extremely nice, professional, and engaged. The only dentist I'd been to prior to Dr. Grammens was my dad. Needless to say, I've never wanted to go to the dentist, however, Dr. Grammens was actually better at giving me shots than my dad. After this experience I made a follow up appointment for a cleaning and cemented Montana Roots Dental as my dentists for as long as I am in Helena.

Brad and his staff were fantastic! I just moved back to Helena and needed to see someone ASAP, Roots got me in very quickly, with no issues. Super friendly staff, Doctor Grammens is thorough and talks you through everything he's working on. Great experience overall would highly recommend!
