Dr. David M. Dodrill received his D.D.S. degree cum laude in 2007 from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. His second-year dental laboratory classes were actually audited at the Universidad de Costa Rica all in the Spanish language with fellow Costa Rican dental students. He is also a graduate of the Advanced General Dentistry Program at Idaho State University.
Since 1998, his freshman year at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Dr. Dodrill has been involved in the dental profession in some capacity, as a student, employee, or volunteer. His understanding of both dental techniques and dental office management are extensive.
In 2008, after completing the Advanced General Dentistry Program, Dr. Dodrill joined a private dental practice (treating general as well as pediatric patients) in Kalispell, Montana. Then, he moved back to Virginia in 2009 and worked with a private practice in Charlottesville that specializes in multiple areas of patient treatment.
In November of 2011, we were thrilled to welcome Dr. Dodrill to the Montana Center for Laser Dentistry. Dr. Dodrill is certified in the following areas: A.C.L.S., VCU Rotary Endo, nitrous oxide, and Invisalign. He has volunteered with many dental outreach programs, including some with the Special Olympics and Give Kids a Smile Day. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Dodrill enjoys skiing, fly-fishing, hiking, koi ponds, athletics, travel, and his family.
The Montana Center for Laser Dentistry is proud to announce that Dr. Kalli Elford has joined the team. Dr. Kalli is a Montana native. In fact, Dr. Dave Dodrill and Dr. Kalli grew up in the same small Montana town of Twin Bridges and have been friends for many years. Dr. Kalli graduated from Montana State University and attended Dental School at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon where she graduated with High Honors and was a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society.
Dr. Kalli has spent the last several years in private practice in Billings, MT. She brings with her a gentle touch and a wealth of knowledge. Dr. Kalli enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including orthodontics and is a Master Provider of Fastbraces and Invisalign. As a patient, you will appreciate her detail-oriented approach and her commitment to comfortable, personalized dental care.
Megan has been a Dental Hygienist for 17 years. She receivedher Dental Hygiene degree from Sheridan College in 2000 after completing her prerequisites at University of Montana and Flathead Valley Community College.

I discovered MCLD in 2011 when a co-worker referred me to Dr. Colona's practice. I have since moved out of state but always try to get an appointment when we come to visit family, for myself, my husband and now my kids. We have searched for an informed and skilled dentist in WA state who uses laser technology and also has shares the same standards as this practice, but we have been unsuccessful for the most part. I never get billed weird questionable things, often its cheaper, especially since I have purchased the tooth brush they recommend and avoid the foods/lifestyle they suggest for best overall health. I had horrible teeth due to extreme stress and an unknown autoimmune disorder, But my teeth and gum health and over all health has only improved exponentially since going here, it has lead me to questions in other areas of me and my family's health. we've always had a great experience and find out we don't need a tooth pulled or fixed like some dentists have urged in WA. We appreciate each new Doctor and staff member's dedication to the highest standards and customer service possible. There may be issues arise in the future due to human nature as we all slip up from time to time even in our professional lives, but i have confidence their dedication to be and offer the best possible care will prevail. Either way we are still grateful for the amazing care and attention to every aspect of our dental health with this practice. Thank you so much guys!!

Hands down the best dentist I've ever experienced in 50+ years of visiting dentists. Dr Dodrill is amazing, very personal and attentive to your needs. Their attention to detail with regards to your health/teeth was amazing. Thank you for 10yrs of taking care of my complex dental issues!

I flew to Whitefish from Seattle to have my TMJ issues looked at by Dr. Colonna and I'm so happy that I did. Both him and his staff went the extra mile to make sure everything was as close to perfect as they could get it. The reason I traveled so far is because they have specialty equipment and testing at their clinic that make all the difference when diagnosing and treating certain issues. My jaw and my bite are now fixed and I am thankful to say I had instant relief after my appointment

Dr. Dave and Dr. Colonna have always gone above and beyond to take care of my family and I. Both the doctors and their staff are great at their jobs and we always feel comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommend!

From the front desk, to the hygeniest, to the doctor, they are patient with my endless questions and never hesitate to educate. It's clear they are paying attention to medical advancements and continuing their own learning.

From the front desk, to the hygeniest, to the doctor, they are patient with my endless questions and never hesitate to educate. Beware that a "good cleaning" is indeed a "deep cleaning" (aka billed as rooting a scaling $ 447!!!!!). They did not explain this to me, I found it out when my bill arrived. My insurance denied the payment because it was unnecessary procedure. P.S. a rooting and scaling was performed in one appointment that is why I left the premises thinking it was a "good cleaning"!!!! Anesthesia was applied because I told the hygienist my gums were swollen.
