We offer preventive and comprehensive care for children from infancy through adolescence and individualize our treatment approach for each child. With our many treatment options, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral or I.V. sedation and general anesthesia, we strive to find the most appropriate method for each patient.
Dr. Engel completed his dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After receiving his dental degree, he attended a two-year specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. At an acclaimed Childrens Hospital, Montefiore allowed Dr. Engel to work alongside some of the greatest minds in pediatric dentistry and pediatric medicine.
Dr. Engel completed his board certification in early 2008, earning him diplomate status in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. As a diplomate, Dr. Engel is recognized as one of the elite specialists in his field.
Through his training, Dr. Engel has developed a systematic approach to dealing with children and patients with special needs. Working with parents and caregivers, he creates a treatment approach appropriate for each and every individual child.
Dr. Engel holds a specialty license in pediatric dentistry from New Jersey and New York. He also has attained sedation certification, which allows for in-office oral sedation options, and hes on staff at Hackensack University Medical Center. As an attending pediatric dentist at HUMC, Dr. Engel retains operating room privileges, allowing for an array of treatment modalities and anesthesia options.
OrthodontistDr. Adam Schulhof, DMDtakes pride in seeing his patients have beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr. Schulhof graduated with high honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and received his specialty training from Columbia University.
His early interest in lingual orthodontics has led to him becoming the top provider for Incognito in the U.S. and the world. Dr. Schulhof was part of the LingualCare Clinical Advisory Board and is now a Key Opinion Leader for 3M and Incognito. He has presented lectures on lingual orthodontics throughout the U.S. and worldwide. Dr. Schulhof is also active in research and development and was a major contributor to the development of Incognito Lite.
For patients looking for traditional treatment, Dr. Schulhofs approach is still exceptional. Each patient is unique and deserves unique and personalized treatment, said Dr. Schulhof. This place is so new clean and amazing staff. and doctor is really nice . Highly recommend and fast . they both booked me also legit within that week

Updated review. Staff still constantly changing. Dentist not sticking around either. Office manager can be smiley and nice one time but rude the next. She yelled at me that with the insurance i have she has limited appt. Maybe dont take new patients untill the existing work is complete instead of having to wait 4 months for crowns. Oh and the crowns kept falling out as well. Dentist admitted my family is NOT the only ones with this problem. I started there early on when they opened and sad to watch this transition. Very mismanaged!

I wouldn't even give it rating at all but I'm so so mad that I don't even where to begin. I've called the office that my daughter had a toothache they told me they'll get back when she can be seen, still waiting. She is 8. Went to a local clinic cuz I couldn't see her in pain. 2 weeks later she had pain again. Called,left messages and no answer or call back. Her face got swollen up to her eyes. Left voice-mail an email. No response. Luckily my pediatrician prescribed strong antibiotics or else she would've ended up in the hospital. She had a high fever too. If they are pediatric specialist? GOD help me. After over 2 weeks she called me back and even gave attitude. Asked her why they don't answer or call back, she said oh we're so so overbooked. What a disappointment cuz they had exams and cleaning and insurance won't pay for another dentist. But would definitely not recommend to ANY BODY!!!!

Staff keeps on changing and appointment availability is very far apart, can wait 3-4 months between appointments. Once on the chair, its a pleasant experience.

Great first time experience. The office is very clean, organized, and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend this office. I had a toothache and the office manager was able to schedule me in right away to address my concerns. Very professional and thorough! Thank you!

From the moment you walk in the door you'll immediately notice the difference. The professional staff will make sure all of your dental needs are met and will exceed your expectations. I rarely write any reviews however for this place I had to log in and type something up to tell others of how great of an experience I had.

I've been coming for the past few months and have great experience. The receptionist dymond is always friendly, and Gabriel and doctor during always go above and beyond for there patient I would recommend you come here to get good dental work.

After trying many dentists this office is the best. Great Doctors. Nice staff with great service. Above all is having 'Gabe' who is so good at understanding the young patients and he works very well with the kids as well as the parents.

My son had a terrible experience with his previous Dentist. Dr. Dubin came in and calmed him down and removed his tooth within in minutes and took him out of pain, I couldn't be more thankful. This practice in beautiful and clean, if you are looking for a good dental office I would recommend you call Monsey smiles right now.

It didn't allow me to post without pressing a star but they literally do not even deserve one. I can't begin to even express how rude and unprofessional the individuals who work at the front desk are. I spoke to Chelsea first (could have been a BS name but so be it) answered the phone laughing and talking as if she wasn't on clock. When I asked her to repeat herself because I didn't understand she answered really nasty. You can clearly see she does not like her job or their reputation. Spoke for about a minute after realizing I didn't want to stoop down to her level. Again RUDE CHILDISH AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I asked her to transfer me over to someone else. He said his name was Chris. He was just as rude. Never will I ever recommend this place. If they treat an adult like this imagine a child. Disgusting. Hoping the doctors are no where near as terrible as their staff.
