Dr. Lisa Sobel has achieved Diplomate status from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lisa is a member of the Active Staff of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
In practice since 2003, Dr. Sobel received her dental degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and completed her general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. Specializing in pediatric dentistry, she completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Nova Southeastern University - College of Dental Medicine and Miami Children's Hospital.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has excellent experience in treating children with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the latest in technological advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
TOBY is a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) as well as the Office Manager and has been with the practice since early 2007. She currently lives in Marlboro with her husband and two children. Away from work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, traveling, and discovering new vegan restaurants to try.

MICHELLE is our Financial Coordinator and has been with the practice 2009. She is a CPA and takes care of your dental insurance claims. Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her two children, reading and going to the movies.
FUN FACTS ABOUT MICHELLE: The song that always makes her happy when she hears it is Dont Go Breaking My Heart by Elton John and Kiki Dee. If she were an animal, it would be a Lion. If she could go anywhere in the world, it would be Australia. If she could be a Disney character, it would be Minnie Mouse.
MARIA is one of our hygienists and has been with the practice since 2011. She greets children and their parents with a warm smile and calmness that makes every dental visit pleasant and fun. Maria lives with her husband and three children. Away from work, Maria enjoys her yoga practice and traveling.
FUN FACTS ABOUT MARIA: The song that always makes her happy when she hears it is Justin Timberlakes Cant Stop the Feeling. If she were an animal, it would be a white, fluffy puppy like a Maltese. If she could go anywhere in the world, it would be Santorini in Greece. If she could be a Disney character, it would be Pocahantas.
HEATHER is one of our dental assistants and has been with our practice since 2011. Heather greets our patients and makes sure that they have happy and successful visits, whether it is by holding their hands through a new experience, taking X-rays or giving out stickers and prizes. Heather wants to make sure that every patient leaves our office feeling happy about their visit.
FUN FACTS ABOUT HEATHER: The song that always makes her happy is Part of Your World from the movie The Little Mermaid. If she were an animal, it would be a leopard, which is her favorite animal. If she could go anywhere in the world, it would be to Italy so she could try all the yummy foods on her bucket list. If she could be a Disney character, it would be Arielle or Belle.
BRITTNEY is one our dental assistants and has been with the practice since 2014. Brittneys easy-going, calm personality helps to put our patients at ease. Brittney loves working with children and helping them have a positive dental experience. Brittney has a twin sister and loves sharing multiples stories with all the twins and triplets in our practice.
FUN FACTS ABOUT BRITTNEY: The song that always makes her happy is Feel Again by One Republic. If she were an animal, it would be a penguin, which is her favorite animal. If she could go anywhere in the world, it would be to Bora Bora to swim in the turquoise waters, hike the trails and enjoy the beautiful landscape and forests. If she could be a Disney character, it would be Olaf.

Dr. Lisa does amazing work. My daughter broke the bottom of her tooth off on a Sunday, Dr. Lisa called me back to speak with me within 30 minutes and had us in the next day for a fix. The fix looks just like a normal tooth, you can't even tell anything happened. Dr. Lisa and her team are excellent with children and so patient with them as well.

Excellent staff and wonderful doctor. Felt so safe visiting the office during the covid situation , have never seen such measures taken in any other doctor office. Highly recommended and will continue to go there for my boys. Lynn and Toby were so good accommodating our scheduling and getting us set for the appointment, systemic reminders thorough process and procedures in place, Maria was great with the kids and thoroughly explained a lot of info ,Dr Lisa is a treasure ! Thankyou doctor and team for your excellent dental service.

Dr. Lisa Sobel is AWESOME. All of our kids have been coming to her office since she started her practice (15-20+ years ago?!) and we continue to go there even after we moved 30 minutes away. The doctor is professional, compassionate and has outstanding bedside manner for children. Her hygienists and staff are topnotch, gentle and efficient. We are seen on time each and every time and have on a few occasions been seen for emergency accidents same-day. The office works closely with the orthodontist if needed. Billing and precertification is a breeze since the staff at the desk take care of everything! The office is THE cleanest office we have been to during covid with the highest protocols and precautions for each patient. My kids LOVE going to the dentist and if there is ever a dental problem or emergency they request to see Dr. Sobel right away. One child even sent Dr. Sobel a valentine! She is great and has our highest endorsement to friends, family and anyone with children!!

Dr. Lisa and all of her staff are amazing. They take their time with my children. They show them each tool and explain what they are doing. They have a visual "menu" for the kids to choose from for the flavors that are used in their visit. My kids are always happy to visit the dentist!

I cannot say enough positive things about this practice as they always go above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience for my children (4 yo and 3 yo). Kids enjoy going to the dentist! Everyone working there - from the front desk to the dentist - are super nice and welcoming!!! If I could give more stars I would. Highly recommend Dr. Sobel and her awesome staff.

Dr. Sobel and her team are awesome. My daughter has been seeing her for the past 4 years and loves it. It's hard to get an appointment on Saturdays for obvious reasons being her so popular.

This is the most child friendly and considerate pediatric dentist. The waiting room and the staff are really focused on helping children feel comfortable. Its clean, has new toys, games & books. Staff and Dr. Sobel is great!
