Dr. Michael Monroe is a 2003 graduate of Mississippi State University and a 2012 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He has extensive experience in restorative dentistry, cosmetics, implant dentistry, root canals, Botox, and loves working with patients of all ages. Dr. Monroe regularly attends additional training to provide the most up-to-date and highest quality dental services.
Dr. Monroe strives to provide quality dental care to his patients. He looks at each day as a way to not only improve the dental health of his patients but also change the lives of some. There is nothing more rewarding to him than to have a patient that has fear of coming to see him and him be able to change their whole perspective of dental health. Giving his patients the confidence and the smile they desire is the most rewarding thing he can ask for.
Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Leigh and their two children, Connor and Ann Tucker. In his spare time, you can find him on the golf course. He is a board member for Regional Rehab, a member of BNI, the Community Development Foundation, and attends the Orchard. He is also a volunteer at The Tree of Life Free Clinic. Michael was chosen at a Top 40 under 40 two years in a row.
Leigh is the wife of Dr. Monroe. She graduated from University of Mississippi with a Bachelors of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences. Leigh serves on the board for Thomas Street Elementarys PTO, Regional Rehab Center, and AEE. She also serves on the Regional Rehab Center Kentucky Derby committee, is a member of the Tupelo Junior Garden Club, and volunteers for various other organizations in our community. Leigh was the 2022 Thomas Street Elementary Parent of the Year and the 2022 Tupelo Public School District Parent of the Year.
She loves spending quality time with Michael and their two children, Connor and Ann Tucker. In her spare time she enjoys painting, cooking and trips to the lake and beach. She and her family attend the Orchard.
Jessica resides in the Baldwyn/Pratts area with her husband, Billy of 14 years and two daughters, Laura Grace and Molly Kate. She is a 2006 graduate of NEMCC and has been practicing dental hygiene for 14 years. She loves working with children and has been working with Dr. Monroe for 5 years. She and her family are members of East Mt. Zion Baptist Church and are active with their youth group. Jessica loves being outdoors, camping, swimming, riding bikes, 4 wheelers, scrapbooking & shopping.
Karson graduated from Northeast Mississippi Community College dental hygiene program in 2017 and gained her bachelor in health sciences degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2019. She understands the importance that each individuals smile plays in his or her self-image. She is an active member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and enjoys spending time with her patients to both positively impact their health and form relationships that built on mutual trust and respect.
Karson grew up in Dennis, Mississippi, but she now lives in Mooreville. She and her husband enjoy a variety of hobbies, spending time with their large families and dogs, cooking, traveling, and many other outdoor activities.
Laura is from Red Bay, AL. She and her husband Jerry have been married for 29 years and have three children, Nathan, Maddie, and Marlee. She has been a dental assistant for 27 years and loves her patients. She also loves spending time with family and friends and enjoys outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and spending time with her fur babies. She and her family are members of Pleasant Hill Primative Baptist Church. Laura hasbeen in dentistry 20 plus years and has worked with Dr. Monroe for 7 of them!
Darrian is from Fulton (Dorsey) and her life revolves around her son Gatlin and her best friend, Amandas son Greyson! Darrian has been a dental assistant for 6 years. She enjoys hanging out with friends and loves swimming and boating!
Tammy is a Saltillo resident. Tammy has been working in the dental industry since 2003. She's been married to her husband, James, for 35 years and together they have two children and 5 grandchildren. When not working, Tammy and James love to travel, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with her family and friends. They are devoted members of Saltillo First United Methodist Church.
Shonda is from Saltillo and has been married to her husband, Gene for 29 years. They have two children, Jarrett (Zaniah) and Ashley(David) and four grandchildren, Jetsen, Colt, Timothy and Jaycee.Shonda has been in different areas of the dental field since 1997. She has found that she holds the elderly patients close to her heart, probably because they remind her of her grandmother who raised her.Two of her favorite things to do are road-trips and cruises with Gene. She also enjoys traveling to watch Jarrett race and home improvement projects. She loves spending any free time with her dog, Hana Sophia.She is a believer and a member of Grace Baptist Church in Guntown and enjoys visiting small area churches.
