Dr. Monroe attended Washington and Lee University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Masters in Aquatic Entomology at Clemson University before graduating from MUSC Dental School. Dr. Monroe had several family friends who were dentists and was drawn to dentistry because he likes working with his hands and enjoys helping people. He has been in private practice in upstate South Carolina since he graduated dental school.
Dr. Monroe is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Greenville County Dental Society, the Piedmont District Society, the Palmetto Study Club (Seattle Study Club) and the Periodontics of Greenville Study Club.
Dental HygienistLeigh Ann has been with our team for about a year. She received her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Augusta University and her Bachelor of Science in Outdoor Recreation. She is certified in adult and pediatric CPR and is also trained in local anesthesia infiltration and attends approximately 11 hours per year of continuing education in dental hygiene. When shes not busy at the office, Leigh Ann enjoys hiking, camping and backpacking, attending church, teaching English as a second language and is also interested in art, different cultures and nature.
Dental Hygienist Jessica attended the University of South Carolina prior to graduating from the Dental Hygiene program at Greenville Technical College. She has been practicing since 2004 following in her late fathers footsteps who was a Dentist. Jessicas passions include the creative arts as well as international missions. She has three beautiful children and loves her career as Dental Hygienist.
Dental AssistantBecky has been organizing and keeping our office running smoothly for the last 12 years. Becky completed her dental assisting training at Greenville Technical School and is certified in Nitrous Oxide, X-ray, CPR, CEREC, and Eaglesoft Software. Beckie and her husband, Joe, have been married for 39 years and have lived in Greer all of their lives. They have three sons and one daughter. Their sons are married two live in Greer and the third lives in Texas. Their daughter, Molly, is a sophomore at USC. Beckie and Joe have been blessed with five grandchildren, two grandsons and three granddaughters. Beckie enjoys decorating, helping others find their perfect paint colors, coloring in adult coloring books, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteering with the youth department at her church.
Dental AssistantSavannah Touchet joined our team in January 2021. She is a 2013 graduate of Tri County Technical College. Savannah is a certified Expanded duty dental assistant. She loves reading, marvel movies, cookies and spending time with her family. Savannah serves on the welcome team at her church and she is excited to be a part of our dental team.
Office ManagerKim has been an integral part of the Monroe team for 30 years. She completed her studies at Greenville Technical College and is a certified dental assistant. Kim and her husband, Robert, have four adult children and seven grandchildrenand continuing to grow! In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family, spending time at her church and volunteering at schools on Fridays.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Monroe Family Dentistry. I'm new to the area and they came highly recommended. After my visit I realized why. Dr Monroe and his staff were amazing. They were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable from start to finish. I would highly recommend them.

A dear friend referred Dr. Monroe's office to me (I owe her a nice Christmas gift). Monroe family dentistry has treated me with such kindness, gentleness, and understanding. Dr. Monroe is a true blessing to my family and myself. Kim is so kind and efficient. Savannah and the whole office staff are super friendly and helpful. My last cleaning, the technician was very knowledgeable, with a great bed-side manner. I felt she really cared about my dental health. Hands down the best Dentist and team in Greenville!!!!

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Monroe since he took over this practice quite a few years ago. Warm, genuine, and welcoming are how I describe Dr. Monroe and his staff. They have always been timely, efficient, and I feel they truly care about me, too, which is why I have continued to go there for over 15 years. I highly recommend this dentist!

Cleaning for this visit with x-rays. Very thorough job with Jessica at the cavitron and scalers. She is very skilled and proficient at this task. I would give her more than five stars if I could.

Dr. Monroe and his staff are exceptional!! I experienced trauma as a child and young adult when going to the dentist. Dr Monroe takes time to explain and make sure I am comfortable by fully explaining his recommendations. The entire staff is very professional and friendly!!

I feel he and they are very attentive to my needs, very professional, routinely checking for any possible dental issues and taking care of them. They are good people!

Overall I liked my visit today. Very friendly, listened to my concerns and situation. I wish I could get my deep cleaning alittle earlier. It would be over a month out. I would love to keep them as my primary dentist but I need to get things along sooner. I believe it's they are short of help. It's a hard decision because I do like it here.

Dr. Monroe and his staff are outstanding!! They clearly explain every procedure and put you at ease during every aspect of your appointment. No one enjoys the dentist but if you have to go, this is the place!!! My wife and kids go here too and they have had nothing but positive experiences.

I have gone to this practice since I was a child. Dr. Monroe is very professional along with his very capable staff. The office staff is so friendly, and always greet you by name. My parents and grown children go there as well, so I certainly recommend them!
