Dr. Daniel Sharbono graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2017 and he has been practicing in the area ever since. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a minor in microbiology from Northwestern State University. He is a member of the ADA and the LDA, takes 15 to 30 hours of continuing education yearly and is trained in administering Botox. His goal as a dentist is to provide comfortable, affordable quality dentistry to all and to break the down the barriers of fear and expensive dentistry, something that he believes causes people to neglect their oral health.
Dr. Sharbono met his wife, Leigh Ann, in dental school and they were married in 2019. She also practices dentistry in the area. They have two dogs, Lady and Boogie. Dr. Sharbonos father is from Rayville, Louisiana and his mother is from the Philippines, and they visit there every few years. Dr. Sharbono hopes to travel to the Philippines for a dental mission trip in the near future.
Shari joined Monroe Family Dental in October 2012, after graduating from the Unitech Training Academy in September 2012. She later received her expanded dental duties assistant (EDDA) certification in June 2013. Shari is a reliable and trustworthy member of our team and she loves what she does! Her favorite part of working here is getting to see the smiles on our patients faces.

I had an implant denture that broke and one of the implants needed placed back in. It was problematic because it was the old style longer implants but it was perfectly repaired.

I have had very good experiences at this dental office. Everyone is so nice and friendly! The office workers, the dental assistants, hygienists, and Dr. Sharbono are all so considerate of their patients. Dr. Sharbono is very gentle when he works on your teeth, and yet he is very thorough. All in all, my interactions with this dental office have been outstanding.

Once again Dr. Sharbono and his team have hit one out of the park! Their professionalism, courtesy and compassion keep me coming back. Not to mention the quality of their work, which is second to none! On my most recent visit, they rearranged their schedule to accommodate me after I'd canceled my original appointment. In similar circumstances in the past, at previous dentist's offices, I've had to reschedule and wait a month or more for another appointment. Thank you again Dr. Sharbono for your graciousness, concern and absolute top notch quality work!

This review is from a first time client at Monroe Family Dental! From the many phone calls I had with the receptionist before my appt., to the moment I stepped into the office I was treated with care, concern, respect, and informative info. This energy further helped me feel more and more comfortable as the visit went on. I knew upfront I was going to need an extraction when I went in so I was completely nervous. Since I was child I have never been keen on going to the dentist. Each time I went I had cavities, while my older sister hardly ever had any. My lil spirit would be crushed every time I heard "you have a cavity." You can say I develop a subtil fear of the dentist over the years. I would get the cavities filled each time and my head would completely block out the experience. Therefore allowing each reoccurring visits to be just as dreadful. "You have a cavities," and the cycle repeated. So in choosing Monroe Family Dental I read many 5-star reviews left on Google about the company and as I was in their office I could see what people had said online was accurately playing out in front me. All the comments basically praised the dentist as well as the dental assistants for great service and It is true, they are great. I had one on one encounters with many of the staff members and they each patiently and openly showed they just wanted the best outcome for me. And I will not skip out on how I was pleasantly shocked when the dentist walked in the room, as he is very easy-on-the-eyes. I thought I was in a movie. Needless to say I had an extraction done that day and the procedure went so smoothy and swiftly! I honestly feel I have cracked the old foundation of mental dread around going to dentist! I'm so proud and thankful for this!! Thank you to everyone at Monroe Family Dental for a great first time experience, it means a lot to me. Even my dad, who only sat in the waiting room, said that it seemed like a good dentist to come as it seemed the staff really cared. Also S/O to Hannah with the cool dental artwork in room 4
