I grew up in Utah and attended Brigham Young University to pursue a career in teaching high school mathematics. My career plans changed after suffering a concussion and facial trauma during an intramural soccer game. Over the next several months, I saw many different dental specialists and became interested in dentistry.
After dental school, I began work in Michigans Upper Peninsula, working for Indian Health Services. I then relocated to Vancouver, Washington, where I worked as an associate dentist. My family is now honored to be a part of Corvallis. We love this close-knit community and college town and look forward to staying here forever.
I feel a great sense of responsibility to my patients. I want everyone to leave my office with a positive experience and a smile. Patients are often overwhelmed at what goes on at a dental office. I strive to help my patients feel calm and cared for with my conservative approach to dentistry and focus on quality care. I welcome patients who suffer from dental anxiety or have not seen a dentist in many years. I place great importance on staying up to date on all the latest techniques and technologies by attending continuing education courses throughout the year.
I have been married since 2003 and have four children in elementary school. My free time is spent with my family. We enjoy playing board games, building with Lego bricks and reading together. We also enjoy being outside riding bikes, playing at the park, doing yard work and collecting sand dollars. My favorite color is blue, and my dream vacation is sitting around a campfire near a cabin on a lake.
