I really enjoy the team there. The office is very clean. And most of all I was very nervous when I first started going there and Dr Motz was so pleasant and he end form me that I will be ok. And he had Patton come in calm me down. So with that being said. I would recommend anyone to go there. I love me some General Patton the certified dental therapy dog Go Patton

Dr. Motz and his amazing staff make a cohesive team giving high quality care to their patients. My son is particularly fond of the 4-legged staff member, Patton . Patton really puts all patients in a great mood, however, has a special affect on children making them more comfortable in visiting the dentist. The environment is clean, modern, pleasant, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Motz if you are in need of a dentist!

I have been a patient of Dr. Motz for a long time and I wouldn't let any one else touch my mouth. He is a wonderful dentist. He is a gentle, caring individual. He constantly makes sure that you are not experiencing any pain unless necessary. I can't say enough about him as a dentist and as a person. I needed some front teeth replaced and he guided me in my decision to the best looking front teeth ever! He made it possible for me to get all the teeth in the front so my smile is perfect. I can smile again. I didn't realize how little I smiled until I got these new teeth and now I want to show them off all the time. I am very pleased with how they look and feel. The other people that work in his office , Gwen and Trina are also the best! They hygienist are also very good and helpful in educating you about what you need to do to help your teeth and gums. I agree it is the best dental practice in Frederick!

Tried over charging my parents what insurance was to pay. bill was 3100 but insurance picked up 1200. Sent a nasty letter demanding the 3100. I'm writing this review for my parents since they don't have email or use computer. Beware!! Read other reviews looks like others have had the same issues. Dentist also very salesman like.

I had such a great experience here today. The Hygienist was great. I don't remember her name but she did a great job. After my cleaning and X-rays, the doctor came in and gave me a full breakdown of my X-rays on the TV and told me what needed to be fixed, what's looking good and what could use improvement. If you are looking for a full on helpful dentist. This is the place to go. The dog "General Patton" wasn't there today because he was getting his hips worked on. Can't wait to see him next time.

Dr Patel- wow! Best dentist around...and thats saying something because I detest going to the dentist. Multiple fillings- zero pain. In love ;). Oh, Dr. Motz is cool, too.... Thanks everyone! And my dental hygienist Megan is stellar- Can't forget her!

In the past, I have had a few bad experiences with dentists. This made me reluctant to have a major issue resolved that was caused by one of those bad experiences. My anxiety was extremely high even at the thought of just calling a dental office. When I knew I could no longer put it off, I began to research dentists and decided on Monocacy Valley Dentistry. The therapy dog was a big plus for me:) Dr. Motz and staff (especially Patton the Bulldog) put me at ease from the very beginning. There has been a level of transparency, from details of procedures to finances, that is comforting. The first step in my procedure was surprisingly painless and I walked out of the office that day feeling even more confident that I had made the right decision choosing Monocacy Valley. Though I still have anxiety, I know when I walk into the office, I am in good hands. Also, I look forward to visiting Patton, as he calms my stress.

Office and staff made my first visit a breeze! My hygienist Meagan was amazing and gentle. Dr. Motz was very nice and knowledgeable. Lauren went above and beyond to get me scheduled! Highly recommend!!

I was able to get an appointment in a timely manner. Everyone of the staff was helpful , courteous, and friendly. My appointment started right on time. The medical staff was very professional, listened to my situation and provided whet I believe is the best approach to resolve my dental problem. I will be returning tomorrow to start my treatments

When you move to new area how do pick a new dental practice? As a retired dentist I should have an advantage picking a good one but after reading patient reviews it boils down to just luck. Today, I struck the jackpot. Monocacy Valley Dental was a pleasure, no really, it was. I got a very thorough cleaning and was able to lay back and relax. Jen did great. Dr. Motz and Patton, the office mascot, came in next. They both were experts at making me feel like an old friend. Dr Motz did a thorough exam , listened to me and assured me of my concerns. Then we just talked, not rushed. Patton, a mild mannered Bull Dog, laid at our feet listening to the good conversation.

When I explained that I had a train to meet at BWI Amtrak station, the dental hygienist Jen went out of her way to make accommodations! She worked quickly and efficiently to clean my teeth and arranged for dentist Dr Patel to make her assessment so that I was able to keep my commitments. The friendly office environment and immediate response to my needs were much appreciated.
