I've been twice now and so has my husband, and we've been very pleased with the service. The staff are friendly, on schedule, and take time to listen to your needs and questions. They even fit us in when we showed up early. We never felt we were being pressured to do extra stuff that was unnecessary or used for the insurance money. If you're a new patient they are thorough so ensure you leave enough time for the appointment. Overall a great experience for something that most people dread!

My wife and I found this dentist office after moving to Frederick. Initially they were the best dentists we had found. Since then, they recently came under new ownership. Our experience since then has not been very good. The new dentist seems very disengaged and the service pales in comparison.

Barbara is the most thorough dental hygienist ever. Compared to previous work done in 7 different states. Recommend to book with her. Also X rays are very detailed, they explore many different angles of the tooth and root.

I've been going to this dental practice since I moved down to MD from Boston, MA in 2018. I wanted a dental practice that could live up to the quality of care and service that I received from my for my former dental office,"Dental Partners of Boston." Where the quality of care and service provided to their patients is hands down, excellent! Back to MRDC. When I first began coming the level of care and service was, okay. It wasn't like I was used to, but it was ok. Plus, it was closest and convenient to where I lived at the time. I liked Dr. Issayans. I thought she was awesome! Over the past 6-8 months, this practice has changed, and not for the better. I will just say that if it weren't for the staff being so nice, and the fact that I need my retainers for Invisaligns, otherwise I'd already be gone. Recently, without notice I've had several of my appointments canceled at the last minute, and with no one to reach out to reschedule. In fact, I would get a message either by voicemail or text or both that my appointment was canceled and that I needed to contact the office to reschedule. That's unacceptable! At my last visit, I found out that the two dentists that I liked had left the practice, and that the new dentist canceled one of my appointments because he "went on vacation!" Are you freaking kidding me? Apparently, he doesn't have a backup. In no way is it acceptable for my dentist assistant or dental hygienist to be acceptable for covering for my dentist, in his absence because, he randomly decided to take a day off. However, I was told if I do get a call where my appointment is being canceled, to just tell the front desk to allow me to come in, and she will check my Invisalign trays and share with the doctor later. That's not fair nor right. Also, this new dentist is not as good as the previous two women dentists that I used to see at this practice. His lack of consideration for his patients is deplorable, and he really has not checked my teeth since the other dentists left. I don't feel like my cleanings are up to par anymore. They've also changed the practice's schedule and is no longer open later in the evening when it's convenient for the patients. I will tell you now, once I get my retainers, I along with my husband and son, who are also patents of this practice, will no longer be coming to this practice. I will not have my insurance pay for poor service and care! If it weren't for some of the front office staff, and a few of the dental assistants and hygienists that I see when I go, I would've already stopped coming! Step your practice up MRDC, or I'm sure I won't be the only patient that you lose.

As you read through these reviews, you'll notice that the good reviews are only good because the customer has very minor problems. Such as cleanings, whitening, small cavity etc. If you have a serious problem or anything that needs immediate attention, DON'T EVEN CALL! They will do everything they can to make money, only to send you someplace else. This includes novacain shots, extra exrays, etc. I asked if my insurance covers these procedures. "Sure, I checked online." she said. Then mailed me an extreme bill. This is after they told me that they don't do these procedures here and gave me a referral to another crook dentist. TOTAL SCAM PLACE!!!!!! My insurance placed them under investigation. Then after negotiating with my insurance they reduced the charges, but before I could pay, they sent my account to collections. I ended up paying my bill plus collection fees. SCAM! They would rather get paid through collections because the dentists don't know how to do the work.

Today I went for emergency visit first time there. I am afraid of dentists. BUT...THIS DENTISTS AND ALL THE STAFF ARE THE BEST THE BEST. I WILL KEEP THEM AS MY DENTIST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. THANK YOU KINDLY SO MUCH.

I had not been to a dentist in over two years. The staff at Monocacy River Dental Care were friendly and professional. While I had to have several procedures done, it was always explained in advance what the procedure was for, and also what my insurance would cover, so there was no mystery about what the cost would be and if I wanted the treatment or not. No pressure. I would definitely recommend them for dental care.

Was unable to get into my usual dentist at Opal Ridge so I made an appointment here to in the meantime to confirm I had no major dental issues. They reported I needed 3k worth of work done. Feeling off about this I waited and my usual dentist performed a cleaning and stated nothing was wrong and the work was unneeded. They WILL price gouge so watch out. Suggest everyone go to Opal Ridge.

My experience here was wonderful, everyone is so friendly and take time with explaining all of your options. They truly care about there patients and that's what I truly love. I would like to start off by saying that Monocacy River Dental is providing very safe and sanitary environment for all there clients which made me feel safe to return. They are taken extra precautions for the safety of all there patients which I feel safe when I go there. I was there today for my dental appt. June 16th 2020, and I must say Dr. Patel along with her excellent staff were following all the safety guidelines and precautions, everyone had mask, face shield protection as well as sanitizer and hand washing along with other safety measures. I can truly say that I truly felt safe while being at there office.

When I moved to Frederick I struggled to find a dentist who could compare to the one I had before. After a few tries at other places, I found this one and I'm thrilled! The staff was so kind even over the phone. My teeth were cleaned really thoroughly and the staff even helped with my new baby so I could get the work done I needed. The office is clean, well lit and nicely decorated. Top notch. So glad I found them!

I wanted to changed my dental provide so I hit the internet and read some reviews. The choice was mine but my decision brought me to Monocacy River Dental and I don't regret my decision. I felt welcomed from the time I entered the door until I exited. Even though we're facing this pandemic the hygienist and dentist that took care of me very well and made me comfortable. I will recommend them to anyone.

My first appointment with Monocacy River Dental Care was probably the best dental appointment I have had. They left no doubt that they were paying alot of attention to my dental care. They recommended some straightforward changes in habits/ additional care I should do and a thorough care plan from the Dr and assistant/ hygienist. They provided easy to understand explanations of everything! And, while minor to some, it was very nice to me that they spoke well, with enunciation and good volume. ...I've had additional appointments since the above and Monocacy River Dental Care continues to be the best dental care I've ever received. Additionally, they are polite, professional and make me feel like they value me as a patient.

Really professional, efficient dentist office. One the best ones I've ever been to. Staff take their time to explain treatment plans, and will explain and breakdown costs to you before proceeding with work. The thing that stood out to me was that I was informed exactly how much my insurance would cover my treatment. This establishment has restored my faith in dentist practices.
