At the office of Monica Neely, DDS, we believe patients should be treated the way we want to be treated especially because the doctor herself experiences dental anxiety when she needs care! For that reason, we follow the 'golden rule' in dentistry and do everything we can to make your visit pleasant and productive. We know a lot of patients have had bad experiences at the dentist 's in the past, and we try to address that. Equally importantly, we are not a corporate office. You will always see the dentist and not just an assistant when you visit.
When you enter our office, you'll be given a warm or cold beverage before you settle down to update your patient information. Because we know medical paperwork is annoying, we provide you with a printout of the information we already have and just ask you to make any necessary changes. Forms are available online. We also strive to stay on schedule because we know your time is valuable. Though it rarely happens, when we're running late, we call and let you know so you can adjust accordingly.
Additionally, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) is available, and we also can provide an oral sedative with the nitrous. There's no rush. You'll get plenty of time for the medications to take effect and plenty of time after your session to close and rest.
Dr. Neely and her team have provided one of the best dental experiences Ive had. From the time you arrive till the time you leave, this team makes sure youre comfortable and every question and/or concern is addressed.
As much as possible, we like to get to know you and what matters to you in your dental care. We understand that some folks just want to be able to chew comfortably while others are after a wonderful smile. We also understand that having family responsibilities may prevent you from wanting anything more than basic preventive care.

I grew up in Edmond and have lived here my whole life. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1996 with a Bachelor 's in Science in Dental Hygiene. My grandfather was a dentist, my father was a Periodontist, and my aunt was a dental hygienist; I guess I followed in my family 's footsteps! My family gave me a passion for dentistry. I love to teach my patients tips and tricks to best care for their specific dental health needs. I love working for Dr. Neely in a practice where patients receive all the 'extras' that let them know we value them. Here, I love having the opportunity to give my best to the patients!
My husband, Tracy, is a radiation therapist in OKC. We have 3 kids, Ryan, who attends UCO, and Raegan and Rylee, who are students at Edmond North. We love OU football (GO SOONERS!), going to Lake Tenkiller, boating, wake surfing, country dancing, and snow skiing. A surprising fact, I'm a first-degree black belt!
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science Degree at Stephen F. Austin University in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education. Before moving to Oklahoma eight years ago, Megan taught school for fourteen years in Dallas, Texas. Since then, she has been in the medical field for almost five years. She 's been happily married to her husband Dwight, and instantly became the 'Burch Bunch' raising their six beautiful children.
Megan has been with Monica Neely DDS for almost two years, where she enjoys meeting new patients and building quality, long-term relationships with both patients and her co-workers. She prides herself in being very gentle yet very thorough in her work, and she puts their comfort and dental concerns first.
Interesting fact, Megan was a key member of the training team to launch the first Chili's Bar & Grill in Australia. Some of her favorite things are family game nights, sports events, and spending time at their lake house in Lake Eufaula.

She has 4 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren, that relocated her here to Edmond a year ago to be closer to them. Shaun is new to Dr. Monica Neely DDS office and is very excited to get back to her roots in dental assisting and working side by side with Dr. Neely.
